I had an amazing experience with Ideal Cabinetry's Customer Service. One of the drawers in my 12 year old pantry failed and IV needed to replace the drawer sliders. I had the original order paperwork, so I called Customer Service to see if I could identify the hardware and purchase replacements. I had the original order number from 12 years ago. I gave it to them and they said to give them day or so to look into it. They called me back and they didn't just give me the part number, they had identified the part and they found the same hardware in their warehouse. When I asked how much it was, they said they were shipping it to me for FREE. It arrived within a couple of days. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

The cabinets especially for drawer bases are extremely flimsy. The weight in a drawer base requires additional support for the Base and they are not built that way. Also Every drawer in the kitchen required reinforcement because any weight that you would put in a drawer within a few months, Would make it sag. Half of my order came in broken and had to be exchanged. The drawer slides that they use snap into a plastic cartridge under the drawer that has a 1/8 inch screw in it and any stress on it rips the screw out of the wood They also needed to be reinforced. The cabinets coming in half broken, and one with all the parts just thrown in the box, obviously from the manufacturer, you could Blame it on the manufacturer for not making them well enough to handle transport, or blame the transport that they used that was too rough with them. Take your pick. Either way, the customer is the one that has to deal with all this angst. For the price of the cabinets I could've had someone make them on site for not much more and they would've been 10 times better. And when I did call the manufacturer, the woman was rude on the phone. And lastly, they charge $60 for a touchup kit that is basically a crappy crayon and a marker that doesn't really even touch up anything because you would never use that on the face of the cabinet so it's a waste of money and an exorbitant price for nonsense. Additionally, it came with no instructions, and only the marker and the crayon. I had to look it up online in a video, and it even says on the videos. This is not meant to be used or probably will not be acceptable for the face of a cabinet, so then what are you touching up some thing you don't see on the inside so ridiculous. My daughter is attempting to remodel her kitchen but she has been unsuccessful. She used Home Depots design services. Tbey ordered her cabinets from Ideal Cabinets. She placed the order August 28th and she was told that she would receive her cabinets in 2-5 days. Aparently the cabinets were supposed to ship in 2-5 days. She received part of the order on September 12th. Home Depot told her that she had to contact Ideal Cabinetry. She called several times and she was told "we will look into it". They requested a list of missing parts and now she is being told that they can't ship the replacement parts until September 27th. At this point she is extremly frustrated so I called. I spoke with Nicole in the customer service department and explained my daughters frustration and requested that they refund her money and I will help her find cabinets locally. I was told that there would be a 25% restocking fee because this is a custom order and that she would have to pay shipping. Even though this is technically a custom order in reality the cabinets do not come assembled (or even with all parts in one box) each part is pulled by part number and shipped in it's own box. Even the hardware is shipped separately. She was given incorrect information about when the cabinets would arrive - when they did arrive half of the parts were missing - now they are unable to ship the missing parts for 8 days. read more

Keep reordering replacement cabinet faces and shelves that are coming in damaged.. was hoping to stop by in person and pick out a shelf that is decent to not wait for their customer service portal process (which is a joke) but they do not allow walk ins?? As a contractor of many years I have never dealt with such a company, will NEVER be directing my clients to them. read more

This is the worst Company by far I have ever dealt with. Order 17 cabinets from them from Home Depot. 12 showed up damaged. Their Factory rep came out and was all apologetic and said replacements would be out in 2 weeks which I had to install. Replacements arrive in 2 weeks, half of the were damaged to a degree of visible damages, to misaligned drill holes etc. Now I waited a month because of back log to get the other replacements and half of those came in damaged. I now await for the FORTH (4) time for replacements. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY And Home Depot should be ashamed for keeping them as a Vendor read more

Unfortunately I would love to leave a good review for this company however I ordered my cabinets back on February 5 with a lead time of 8 days. So I should have had my cabinets back in February. I'm sitting here on March 19th and still no cabinets. I have contact with the company and my cabinets have made it to Michigan but the delivery company they use is atrocious. They called me Thursday the 18th to confirm my delivery for Friday the 19th (Today) they gave me a 4 hour window and everything. Only to call me this morning telling me they didnt have all of my items and they had to send them back to the main warehouse. I asked if they could deliver what they had and was told no because their drivers had already left for the day. I only live about a half an hour from this warehouse. No idea why they couldn't have their drivers turn around and deliver this for me. The brand I got was Luxxe Cabinetry. As of right now they say the have found the missing pallet and plan on delivering on Monday. The constant run around of everything has been an issue from the start. I ordered my cabinets through lowes and I am just waiting for them to come on the Lowe's in muskegon employees have been amazing in helping me where needed. They were able to get me at least a small refund of 200 dollars from the company but honestly with the amount of hassel I have had this was a slap in the face. I would recommend any other cabinet company over this one. There 8 day turn around is false advertising and expect over a month before you get your cabinets and then there is the possibility of issues with the delivery company they choose. read more

Ordered cabinets from Lowe's made by ideal cabinetry. Original expected delivery date was November 16. It was then pushed back to December 16, then January 10, then January 17, and now sometime in February getting strung along all the way with excuses that didn't match the reality. We were assured multiple times that they had the product on hand and were just waiting to ship and was finally now after two months given the actual truth that they don't even have the materials to build the cabinets. Do not order from them, extremely unprofessional. read more
