Horrible, horrible and horrible. Took my car to these guys and the tint on my windows looks so damn cheap. Tint not to the edge of the window and the rear window has bubbles. Save your money. This damn place is a scam. I recommend any Tint World for state of the art window film. Also its precision cut and the tint is high quality! The customer service is worse. I believe in taking care of people. Its not always about a dollar. When you take care of your customers they will keep coming back this sh!t hole is the worse I've ever seen and I've had plenty of cars with awesome tints job but now Im riding around with ugly windows thanks to these guys! Dropped my truck off for detailing. After picking my truck up the next day I noticed a part from my running board was broken off. I mentioned it to one of the workers, he said, "are you shore it wasn't like that when you dropped it off", I told him no. As we were walking to my truck I looked back and the worker was walking away in the opposite direction, he walked over to the corner of the building and picked the part up off the ground and said, Oh, is this it. That was it! After getting in my truck I noticed a part in my back passenger door. That part was broke off from the front storage area and thrown in the back of my truck. Paid $300 for detailing and Parts were broken off my truck and they acted like it was just a normal day! Will never go back to Ideal Image. Horrible customer service! I'd give zero stars as a review however that's not an option. Don't waste your money folks, will cost you more in the long run. read more

For our anniversary I thought I would treat my husband to having his SUV detailed. Casey at the front desk was lovely and helped me set things up. I dropped off his car since he was out of town and figured it would be a nice surprise for him to come home to. The next day I got a phone call from a maniac. He identified himself as "Nick" and claimed to be the owner. He demanded to charge more. When I had spoken with Casey she said nothing of any additional charges. The conversation ended with, "the owner" threatening me. Whoever this moron is he needs to be fired. No intelligent business person would treat customers this way. I initially called to get windows tinted and an engine detailed. I was hung up on twice just trying to speak to someone. I called back an hour later and I was told they couldn't touch my truck for 3 days. I called D&L and Athena guaranteed I'd be out the door in an hour... she was exactly right, 48 minutes and they did a phenomenal job. A friend recommended Ideal but unfortunately it didn't workout. HORRIBLE customer service. Got my windows tinted there. On day 8 I called about imperfections and told the lady I wanted my money back. I was told the same story as before about dry out time and then she told me I need to learn how to talk to people and that I'm rude. Then put me on hold before I could process what she said. I drove to the store and got someone from the shop area that claimed to be the owner. He gave me the same story about dry out time until he saw the felt debris under the tint. He said he'd fix it under warranty. I brought up how I was talked to on the phone and he said that he was there and that he would have said the same thing. I told him I wanted my money back. There's no reason why I should give money to a company that tells me I'm rude for not being happy with their mistakes. He then started yelling at me that I'm cocky and arrogant. He yelled at me that he wasn't going fix the tint anymore and to get out of his store. I informed him that I would be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges and going online to leave honest reviews. Very confusing and disheartening experience. First time I've witnessed a business calling customers rude for catching their mistakes and making them correct them. First time I've seen a business break their contract because the customer wasn't happy with being yelled at. Words can't describe how bad these people are at business. read more

My complaint about this place is the rudeness and unprofessionalism that they show. I was serviced at the beginning of the week and called to ask a simple question. I got a smart reaction and was hung up on. Customer service is everything and for the price point I expected better. They scratched up the modeling around my door. I first took my car here to get my windows tinted. ( I was told they were the best). They did a good job but left my door panels a mess from the drippings. I needed my exterior cleaned. $150.00 just the outside. They said I might need clay bar which would be $50.00 EXTRA! I told them I just wanted my car cleaned. Do what you have to do . $200.00 later I was not happy at all !!!!! They missed cleaning my hood by the wipers, the wipers, passenger side mirror looked like they wiped it with a rag they had laying in a trash can and passenger side door handle they missed behind the handle! Sent my bf here as a christmas gift and they did a really good job. First he went for his tints , and later for a detail because it was soo cold outside. They were qiuck and stayed in schedule. They were professional in person and explained all of the packages. When i originally called i was nervous because the assistant was not super pleasant but i see why they are soo busy! I wanted to bring my car here for a detail but they are pretty booked especially with the fluctuating weather, soooo book a week or two ahead. Terrible service and terrible attitudes. Don't know where to start. My car was less then one year old when I took it to these miserable crooks. Car looked bad just pulling in to pick it up. Dirty rag smeared around dash. It was clean before I got there. Door jams not touched, but were part of the package. Damaged my paint job, and ruined my kick plates, with God knows what, ( some type of acid or something corrosive )while doing tint job. Said I was picking their work apart. REALLY??? You just charged me to F my car up! Added $10 to my original plan. Then just argued with me. These people are the worst. I mean THE WORST!!! They actuall want to fight after F ing you. Star clear of these CR_-K HEDS A couple of days later it rained, and you could see the water bead up on the couple areas that they waxed. Missed half of car with the wax job. . Good morning everyone , let me start by saying that I can't not believe the level of unprofessional behavior I received from this business today . What I can say is that I am a review reader prior to making a decision about who I spend my money with and let say I'm highly disappointed . My husband took my car this morning for an inspection and it failed because of the tint . I called Ideal Imagining to let them know that the car failed inspection and I instantly was scolded by the manager Steve . He was using the most unprofessional tone ever explaining that when I came in to have the tint put on I signed a waiver stating that it was possible that the tint would not be legal and that was a risk . I told him my issue was that when I called to make an appointment I spoke to Kacie who I requested several times that I wanted legal tint . She walked me through the process of picking the tint and everything . During my conversation with Kacie I explained several times that the tint should be legal . I must admit that Kacie was very nice ( unlike Steve ) and explained to me the difference in film and etc . My husband took the car into the shop to get the tint At which time he signed the waiver ( I am assuming ) stating that the company was not responsible for illegal tint . Fast forward 20 percent was put on my car and in the state of (Maryland) 35 is the legal limit . ( im not the expert in windowing tinting and nor would I have ever taken my car to get inspected if I would have known this tint was at 20 percent ) Now granted me and Kacie's signals had to been crossed in order for this to happen which I admitted several times during the conversation with Steve but Steve was so nasty trying to prove his point his ears wouldn't allow him to listen to what I was saying . He continued to defend Kacie and what she said to me based on Kacie's experience and never even asked Kacie if she remember our conversation . He defended her to the end without even asking her what happened or how this could have happened . I stopped him mid sentence at least 3 times to explain to him that I wasn't trying to be rude and I wasn't trying to go back and forth I wanted to see what we could work out . He stated that he should not have to take any loss at all . I disagreed with him because I know the conversation that me and Kacie had . He finally said he would try to work out a deal , that he would charge me for the removal of the tint and work out something on putting it back but still talking to me harsh . I stopped him again and asked him why is he being so nasty . Steve stated that he felt like he shouldn't have to do nothing . At this point I asked to speak to the owner because clearly me and Steve were not going to get anywhere . He told me the owner doesn't handle anything like this and anything that I was going to get was going to come from him . At this point I hung up because I was so furious . I was called back after a few minutes hoping I could speak to someone level headed but of course I got Steve . He questioned me about hanging up and I said yes because I couldn't get a word in so what did Steve do ? He hung up on me . I called back Steve said he want doing nothing for me at all he has already gotten business and that because I was so disrespectful he could care less . I called my husband and told him what happened . My husband was going up there until I read the complaints on the BBB ( make sure you guys go and read them ) I called my husband and told him that this is a pattern with this business and I think it would be better just to make a call so he did . Steve answered the phone again . Steve proceeded to tell my husband that he spent 30 mins on the phone with me ( a lie ) and that I was nasty and rude ( lies , I hung up because Steve was so rude ) etc . My husband asked Steve what can be done . First Steve said he would work something out but he feels like we would still bash him in the end . My husband said to Steve that at the end of the day it's his business and to do what he wanted . Steve said he wasn't doing anything because he feels like we would bash him regardless so here we are . To say the least I'm so very pissed off . I run an entire company of over 50 employees and if any of my staff ever talked to anybody the way Steve talked to me. ( and refused to give me the owners info or at least passed my complaint over to the owner or defended an employee without even speaking to her ) they would not be employees with me pass lunch to say the least . Message to Steve -- Steve all I'm going to say is that you need to take a class in profession interactions with consumers . On March 31, 2021, I went to Ideal Image Auto Salon, located at 7901 Belair Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21236 to have three front windows (driver, passenger, and front) tinted on my 2020 Dodge Durango Citadel. I got to the location at approximately 4:00 pm to have the work done. At approximately 8:00 pm, I was told by the front office assistant that there is an issue with my truck not starting. She then informed me that the same thing happened with a Durango about a month ago. I asked her what happened and she stated, "she isn't sure, but the liquid from putting the tint drips down and messes with the electrical underneath the dashboard. I asked, "why didn't any one tell me this prior to working on my car and giving me an option to proceed or not". She stated sorry and left for the evening. The business was closed and I was still sitting in the waiting area. Around 9:20 pm, no one had come out to me and given me an update. I went to the area where the two workers working on my vehicle and asked, "what is the issue"? One of the workers told me, " I don't know, but this happened to the last Durango". He also stated, "we covered up the dashboard and put extra towels down to stop it from happening ". I asked, "how long will it be before it works", and he stated, "I'm not sure, but it took about three hours the last time". At about 10:05 pm, my car finally started and I was able to drive home. When I got in my car, my radio, stop start feature, and backup camera was not working. My dashboard message, read my turn signal light was out. I asked the worker, "what was going on"? He stated, "it will be fine once it dries up". The next day, I called to speak to the owner, but I was informed, he was out of town and would be back Monday, April 5, 2021. I called on that day, but he still had not returned. I called the guy that introduced me knows the owner and assisted with getting me an appointment and he informed me that the owner will be back, Wednesday, April 7, any that he would take care of me when he got back. He told me to make sure I keep receipts of anything I purchase for the car and he would reimburse me. On April 1, 2021, I had to go to Home Depot and purchases dam rid packs to help absorb the moisture out of the dash board. I had to put three across top of dashboard and one under the dashboard on the driver and passenger side. I had to make an appointment after a week, because the issues still occurred and I was able to get an appointment with Ourisman Dodge dealership to find out the issue. The issue they had to correct, was my battery was messed up and that controlled my stop start feature. Once the battery for that was replaced, my turn signal message went away. The radios came on about a week after the tint was on. I have tried to call and leave a message for the owner Nick several times. Kassie, the front desk work said she has passed my information on to Nick and doesn't know when he hasn't called me back. I am very disappointed in the professionalism with this company and want all to be aware that will not tell you about an issue, until after it happens. read more

Thank you very much for your assistance with my car that my 3 children and 2 short haired pit bulls have not treated the best... I have been waiting and wanting to have my car thoroughly cleaned and finally called around last minute to find availability the next day with Ideal Image since they are local. I dropped off my car in the morning and it was done in a few hours. There was a surcharge for the additional elbow grease they had to put in (which was fine given the condition of the car) but it would have been nice to know about that in advance-because I was just expecting to pay the higher end of the interior detail-which was still comparably reasonable. All that to say...she told me the car would look brand new when I saw it..and it definitely did. My kids asked if it was a different car! With my experience with auto detail in the past-it usually looks good, but I would find myself noticing a few places that would have been nice to touch up even more, or some dog hair left--well to my surprise, my car was flawless with my interior-seats, carpets shampooed;completely wiped and shining, smelled nice-not even one single dog hair in the car-not even in the hatchback area they ride--this is an impossible feat because anyone who owns pitties knows their short prickly hairs wont come out of anything..all this to say-THANK YOU- I am very satisfied; have already recommended to a few others and will continue to recommend. read more
