I called to schedule filler consult for my under eyes and the receptionist ( I wish I could remember her name) was such a sweetheart! They were able to get me in fairly quickly! The downside is Dr. Summer. She came in and already had selected the filler we were going to use. She did not discuss why she chose that filler or anything about it. In her defense, I should've asked. But I was trusting in her. We move onto the procedure and she used the canula technique to minimize bruising however she jabbed it into my under eye, she said it was difficult to get it in bc I had thicker tissue in that area - which is not the reason it hurt. My new doctor has done my under eyes twice, both pain free. I get faint around needles sometimes so I was starting to feel faint and hot and I let her and the assistant know. The assistant was a brunette woman who was very kind and patient. She got me an ice pack and reclined me. However, Dr. Summers rushed me to recover. I was still hot and faint when I gave her the OK to proceed since she seemed to be in a hurry. This experience was traumatic. I was on the verge of crying between feeling faint, nauseous, and rushed by Dr. Summers. After the visit I enjoyed my under eye look! No more tired right? Well yeah no more tired but what about the blue and yellow bruising that never went away? My new doctor informed me my bruising never went away bc my under eye area was over filled and I should've used a filler that was less dense. My new doctor is Dr. Dulce Mascariñas and she dissolved the filler placed by Dr. Summers and a month later refilled my eyes with half a syringe and then finished the remaining product another month later. Thanks to her I finally look refreshed. I do not think Dr. summers is a bad doctor. Maybe she was having a bad day, we all do. However the care I received is NOT one I ever desire to have again. Always ask your Dr why and what filler they are going to use. And do not let them push you to recover from fainting. I've had a few cosmetic procedures and have never experienced anything like this.

Below was their DM to me "(My name)....We are sorry to inform you that due to multiple missed and canceled appointments we will be unable to schedule you for any additional future appointments." I could've agreed for "deposit" on subsequent appointments and not denial for future appointments. This shows that they won't show any regard for clients who have paid them for services, and they don't realise that everyone has personal exigencies. This is careless and damaging for patients and the community for two reasons: (a) it encourages people to sit inside of cars, with AC running on a hot day, which is wasteful and bad for the environment; (b) it discriminates against and punishes people who did not arrive by car or may have gotten dropped off because they are not drivers themselves, which includes many elderly patients. I understand that staff needs to eat lunch and it makes sense to close the practice during that time, but the assumption every patient arrives by car and is willing or able to use it as a makeshift waiting room or else camp out on the sidewalk is a disappointing combination of cluelessness or thoughtlessness. Please at least add outdoor seating so an elderly patient can sit while waiting for the doors to open. Thank you.

The esthetician started off using the sugar and the first pull at the top of my pubic area was EXTREMELY painful and left me close to tears. Thankfully, she asked if I wanted to switch to wax and I agreed. It was still a bit painful but nowhere near as bad as the sugar. Fast forward to the end of the appointment, I paid the balance due (they require a deposit at booking) and gave a generous 50% tip then left. The whole rest of the day, the area that had been sugared was hurting quite a bit but since this was my very first time getting waxed, I didn't think too much of it until I got home several hours later and took a gander in the mirror to see if I could figure out why that one spot was still quite tender. Now I understand that you may have little pin drops of blood from the hair being ripped out from the root, but what I had seen was straight up torn skin! Even my husband's first reaction was "WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED???" 24 hours later, I was still in pain so I messaged HS to speak with someone and the manager of the WS location responded with a message explaining that because I'm taking a thyroid medication, it can cause skin sensitivity and varies for each person. When I filled out the forms online, prior to my appointment, I did list the medications I'm currently taking but at no point before my appointment (from when I booked the appointment 11 days ahead of time to the day of my appointment) did anyone ever reach out and mention the issue with thyroid medication and skin sensitivity and perhaps suggest that I NOT get a waxing done. Only after I contacted by the manager was I told that I should not do any more waxing in the future. I was told to put Neosporin on my skin and to let it heal as well as the esthetician would be spoken to. Overall a very disappointing experience that left me slightly mentally and definitely physically traumatized. TLDR: My first waxing session ever, left me with torn skin because nobody informed me that one of my medications increases skin sensitivity

The…read moreDoctor for the spa lived in another state when I was there so they sell you procedures that involve machines for the most part. And the machines do not do what they are advertised to do. Even the Doctor told me a procedure I got 3 times had to be done 6 or more. I wanted filler and Botox as I was not a candidate for Threads or so they said. They told me that what they had planned for me would do more. It did nothing. When I told the owner that I had not gotten what I had asked for she agreed that I could get it for another $600. I was gifted the treatment as I'm on social security and couldn't afford them but I had lost a bunch of weight and this was to make me feel better about myself since it greatly affected my face. With the creams they sold me, it ended up being around $6000. That's half a year of social security for me so there was no way that I could have paid for it or paid any more to get it right. The filler left me with lumps and there was so little Botox that it didn't do much and filler should have been used instead in that area. Just imagine knowing you're getting this generous gift so you might actually feel better about yourself after doing so much to improve yourself already but ending up with no money and almost no results. If they had just involved the doctor and gave me what I originally asked for, I think I could have been happy. If you go there and get the needle piercing you need at least 6 treatments. Do not use the machine that is supposed to pull your facial muscles tighter if you're older like me (64) and honestly I wouldn't use it at all. I never got a massage or anything else. I did not lose my weight through them either. I'm honestly still heartbroken about it and know I'm never be able to afford anything somewhere else. The owner seemed sympathetic but only because I was willing to pay a little more in my opinion. I liked everyone there but the owner especially is one of the best salespeople I've ever dealt with. To spend $5500 and still have to pay another $600 to get any result at all was just unkind to someone that had really worked hard to look better and just wanted to fix whatever I could on my face because of the extra wrinkles that now show because of the weightloss. Because the sales pitch is so believable but my results didn't exist, I have to worn anyone and everyone not to go there. Unless you just really like throwing away money. Since nothing I wanted was done in spite of my asking for it specifically, I trusted them to have even better results with their recommendation. What it came down to was simply them wanting to do procedures that didn't involve the doctor because they make so much more money on those. The one machine is just turned on and you lay there so they aren't paying anyone at all to help you. I do not normally leave reviews and it's taken me around 2 years or so to leave this one but after seeing their Yelp score, I just thought I needed to warn people so they don't end up like me. I could have had a nice vacation with that money. I haven't had one in years. But I mostly just got taken advantage of.
