I tried calling the number on the site and they couldn't help me, didn't know anything about this location or how to help me. Such a mess. I came here for digital fingerprinting for a license. Unlike some states (cough, cough, Nevada and Arizona), Texas allows for digital fingerprinting so long as you use certain vendors, and that is a much preferable experience over ink fingerprinting. Scheduling was very easy. The whole process is online, so you set up your account, and they have all the information they need to open your file. No filling out papers when you arrive! Also, you know exactly what to bring to your appointment, so everything is very efficient. I arrived early. I was told to wash my hands, and then wait in the inner waiting room. I waited about 5 minutes, and then I was brought into a cubby That whole process took less than 5 minutes, and afterwards, I didn't have to scrub ink off my hands, so I was delighted. Also, as everything is digital, the computer program is making sure that the fingerprints captured are adequate, so there's less chance of having to repeat the process because of smudges, etc. (Which did happen to me last year when I applied for my Arizona license and delayed the application by over a month.) Services aren't cheap, but if I'm spared a repeat trip for inadequate fingerprinting, I'll consider it well worth the money. read more

I came to this location to have my TSA renewed. Mainly it was just a bizarre experience. The woman who checked me in was mainly concerned about my method of payment. The first thing she did was ask for form of payment, then made me produce it and hand it to her with my ID while checking in. She didn't take payment then just wanted to see it. So weird. Then asked me to sit down again for like 90 seconds. Then same lady had me get up and follow her to another room where she took my ID and payment again, this time charging me. Then she took my picture and finger prints. Just a very strange interaction. She wasn't rude exactly but certainly not friendly. The job got done at least. read more

Now my experience wasn't awful. In fact minus the other lady that I'm assuming the reviews were meant for, I received service from her partner. Initially walking in I had an appointment set up for the following day, however, I didn't want to wait that long. So I took my chances and did a walk in. The lady at the front desk was blonde, very kind, and sweet. She informed me to wash my hands and wait while she turned on the station area. Now as I waited her partner with black hair was exiting a session and upon sitting down at the desk did come off as sassy/ rude to the guy that was waiting. She even directed her attention to me as well. I would say her presence was just simply unwelcoming. Thankfully I wasn't served by her and I got in and out. I wish management would read these reviews and re evaluate that lady with black hair as she really should not be working at a customer service job with that "bothered" attitude. read more

Huge waste of time. Don't bother making an appointment, they don't go by them anyway. We made the appointment two weeks ago, and arrived 15mins early. There was a lobby full of people waiting and NO ONE there to greet/check-in. Ten minutes later someone came up from the back to man the front desk. I checked in and an hour after our scheduled appointment, we are still waiting. Several people with appointments after ours were called/seen. They were calling the wrong people for the wrong procedures; checking people in for the wrong service. They lost track of the order of appointments, and people with appointments as early as 2pm were told they might not get seen because they 'are running behind and they close at 4pm'. Complete confusion and chaos. Lower your expectations for professional or even generally polite attitudes. read more

Unreal - Went in for a TSA Enrollment - front counter was the rudest person had all required documentation and then some. They decided that a court decree changing my name which had the courts seal they would not take. They advised the court had no idea what they were doing that was the incorrect document. Funny thing switched locations received with no issues. The new location even stated they have heard horror stories concerning the Carrollwood Village location. Stay away from Carrollwood they don't follow the rules/policy and are just downright rude. read more

This office was great. I needed to get my TWIC card to submit my USCCaptains license paperwork. I chose this location and very easily made an online appointment. There were were several appointments available and I was able to get one very quickly. It took longer than expected to drive there even though I allowed for extra time and I hope they got there enough time before they closed for lunch. I got there very close to lunchtime I understood that because there's only one person in the office, that she would have to take lunch on schedule to be able to reopen at the advertised time for the other scheduled appointments. It was time to close for lunch very soon but because I had filled everything out ahead of time online and brought everything I needed with me, she was able to quickly take care of me and I left with my TWIC card in hand. At least a dozen people this morning waiting, several of us with set appointments that passed while we waiting 45 minutes or more just to be checked in. I finally get to the desk for TSA renewal and the woman won't do it because she says I need my marriage certificate which was false. I stood in the lobby for about 5 minutes and nobody was at the front counter. I took a seat and waited for someone to arrive. A woman came out front and said "what do you want." Not a "good morning, how may I help you." I told her I was here for TSA precheck and that I had an appointment. I told her I was about 15 minutes early and she began huffing and puffing about that. And she rambled off saying that she couldn't help me until my appointment time. I said that was fine. Finally she called me up asking for my documents. I gave her my passport and drivers license. She told me I only needed the one ID which is weird since the TSA website said I needed two, but whatever. I went back into the room and was being helped by another lady. She spoke insanely fast so it was hard to understand what she was saying. She asked me for my finger prints and then asked me for my hand print. I placed my hand on the reader and I wasn't doing it right. She kept telling me how I was doing it incorrectly but never telling me or showing me how I needed to do it. She became very angry and agitated and it remained that way. The only friendliness I got out of her was when I paid. The place had the worst service I could have ever imagined. Truly an office fully of unhappy angry people. Thankfully I was in and out... If you have to come here... Upon entering the facility for my appointment there were 2 clients ahead of me. The first did not have an appointment (as this was announced by the woman at the reception desk, a middle aged blonde) who continued to speak to the client in a condescending and rude manner. Her tone was unprofessional and unwarranted as the young man needing assistance was polite and patient. The next customers were treated equally as poor for no reason, and as a result I left without checking in. I cannot stress enough that the staff at this location are incompetent and lazy. My birth certificate has a little bit of the original ink bled over into another part of the document and they denied allowing me to go through with my appointment. They were uncooperative, would not listen to me when I pointed out that it does not effect the information on the birth certificate, and refused to work with me. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and stand off-ish with me. Mind you, this birth certificate has been acceptable to every other identification sight and security clearance application I have ever pursued. The birth certificate is just fine. Receptionist was rude and dismissive. I had a crack in my debit card and she asked for another payment. I explained that was my only card and I've never had an issue anywhere else. She quickly threatened me with a $400 charge if my card damaged their machine. When I got to the back and the other lady went to charge my card she just keyed it in manually, took about 10 seconds. Also I wasn't seen until 15 minutes after my appointment and there was hardly anyone there. Employees seem rude and miserable. It was fast and I was in and out, however I gave it 2 stars because of the staff. I was the only person there, and they could have been slightly friendly. The greeter was rude. I asked if a credit card was ok for my second form of ID and she looked at me like I had a 3rd eye. I only asked because online I thought said 2 forms of ID were needed. Then, for the fingerprints, I felt like I was being booked at jail. Yanking my fingers for the prints not speaking at all just grabbing the next one with no regard to how she was twisting my hand, without a word of what she was doing.
