    Sweet pork bbq sandwich
    Simon H.

Great bbq spot, and we tried the brisket sandwich (on pretzel bun) and sweet pork sandwich topped with coleslaw, pickles and jalapeños. We also got the pork ribs and mac n cheese. Smoky and Spicy Bbq sauces were available on the side, none on the meat. I found the brisket to be tasty but a tad dry, not much of the "bark" to see. Sweet pork was very good as well, nice flavors, the bbq sauces were essential for both sandwiches. The pork ribs were the best item, juicy and seasoned well and just tender enough to eat clean off the bones. Mac n cheese was great too!

Oh my, 5-Star alert! Probably the most memorable meal on our two-week roadtrip, and it happened in Tropic, Utah. There's a big chalkboard menu that has many offerings not on the website menu. First off: value. Meaning great food at very good prices, no tourist gouging. Sweet and Spicy Sandwich - pulled pork with jalapeños, beans and nacho cheese on an Asiago bun, so good. Brisket Meat Platter - excellent, good balance between char and softness. Cornbread was very good, coleslaw worthy. Good portion. Beans & Potato Layer - excellent flavor, potatoes were just a little too hard though Mac & Cheese - one of the best versions I've had, cheese is thick. Loved it. Burnt Ends - top your meal with these delicious pieces for $1.49. Great snacking for the next day even cold. Peach Cobbler in Waffle Cone - cobbler had small pieces of peach, not big chunks, perfect. It resembled a compote, just the way I like it. Hefty serving of vanilla ice cream. Three sauces from which to choose. Good, but they tasted somewhat similar. Great service.

Adorable family-owned BBQ joint near Bryce Canyon. Owners are super friendly and the food was all good. Overall, I would give 4.5 stars if possible. The star of the show was the peach cobbler with ice cream. You absolutely must get this, and I recommend in a waffle cone! We tried every meat with different dishes. 1. Pulled pork baked potato - 5 stars 2. Brisket Nachos - 4.5 stars, needed just a tiny more brisket - that was the best part! 3. 2 meat plate w/ribs and chicken - 4 stars, the brisket and pulled pork were better

Meat was tender. House made sauce was good. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere....picnic tables inside with rock music playing. Good meal

If you're in Bryce Canyon, I recommend you take a 10 min drive to Tropich and stop by. The food is great. I got the Smokey Sunrise - chicken on Parmesan bun topped with max & cheese and smoky sauce. Awesome sandwich. The max and cheese was really good too. It comes with chips. I subtracted a star due to poor customer service. My wife went in to get an item that they missed on our order. The girl at the register huffed and puffed and sighed and in the end finally got the item. It was a bother to get the item we paid for but didn't receive. Seating is nice. We sat outside on a bench and table. They also have indoor seating. I recommend you try their bbq.

If you can overlook the customer service the food is worth it. We had a few people on our family and each one said wow they were so rude. I got the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw! So good! It comes with a bag of chips. The pork was juice and tender not dry at all, the cole slaw was really good too it had great flavor. I ordered a corn bread and that also was really good. Everyone else In our family enjoyed their meal. Just customer service was -1 star. There was a lady in-front of us who came back and said she didn't get her Mac and cheese and they asked for receipt and she said I didn't get one. ( you have a choice to say no to a receipt but get it in case they miss something) and she went back to check previous orders and then got upset when she had to get the Mac and cheese. Same thing happened when I took my niece in because they forgot the ice cream on her dessert. She asked for a receipt and I said we said no and she rolls her eyes goes back and then grabs our container and the tells the other girl you forgot the ice cream rudely. The peach cobbler was really good definitely recommend with ice cream. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor only has like 5 tables. We sat outside In the end food is worth it and just get a receipt!

IDK BBQ is super yummy. The only thing better than the food is the service. Awesome people work here. The truck bed table is adorable and a fun place to sit. I had the pulled pork sandwich on an asiago bun which I highly recommend. I don't think you can go wrong here, there are lots of combinations to choose from but if you like BBQ, you will love IDK BBQ.

TL/DR: The meats were okay. The sides were better. The peach cobbler is not worth it. Here's what we got: - 1 Meat + 1 Side - Brisket + Cornbread ($9.99 + $1.99 for brisket): The brisket was pretty average. The cornbread was good. - 2 Meats + 2 Sides - Pulled Pork, Sweet Chicken + Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese ($15.49): My husband said the pulled pork was fine, the sweet chicken was good, the baked beans were tasty, and the mac & cheese was amazing. - Peach Cobbler ($5.99): Simply not worth it for taste and also not worth it for price. A far cry from the best BBQ I've had.

I am so glad we chose this place over its neighboring restaurant. My 1 meal plate of sweet chicken plus fixings was heavenly. The servers were nice and the ambiance was spic and span cute. Great pit stop for RV travelers like us.

Small, cute and delicious. Food was great got a George's Special and the Backyard BBQ sandwiches. They have warmed bbq sauces by the fountain drink area. Service was quick and pleasant. Highly recommend if staying near Bryce Canyon especially compared to the restaurants near the hotels. Place was very clean and smelled great.

Idk, I must've come on an off day... My family and I were stoked to try this place as a treat whilst enjoying the views up on Bryce Canyon's lookout spots. We got: - brisket plate ($9.99): came with a side of coleslaw and cornbread. Nothing special to note here. - sweet chicken salad ($10.99): the chicken was on the drier side. - pulled pork salad ($10.99): the pulled pork wasn't as juicy as I would've liked - brisket loaded potato ($10.99): same sentiment with the brisket as the brisket plate. The potato was a-ok. - peach cobbler with ice cream ($7.48): the cake layer of the cobbler was doughy, rather uncooked :((( Don't think I'd come here again unless I was desperate. The workers were nice though :/

The restaurant was pretty nice. Sad the food was such a downer.

My wife and I were in the area visiting the local national parks. Thought barbecue would be a good idea. Saw this on yelp and there were some OK reviews we went in, the place looked really nice but was like almost nonexistent. We had to scan a QR code and order on our phone still OK not too bad, when the food came, it was dry dry dry. Now myself being a barbecue aficionado could tell you that this was cooked a long time ago and it was held at too high of a temperature. I guess the most salient words I can use are "will never go there again." It's a shame when you pay good money for barbecue that is way overcooked. When the meal came, there was no napkins and no utensils when I asked where are they? They just pointed.

Pro: -delicious food -friendly service -very affordable Cons: -they run out of things, get there early -it gets super busy, get there early -slow We got there at 6:40 on a Saturday. There was about 4 couples in front of us. It took 25 minutes to order and get our food. The service is slow because the person who take your order also prepare your order. By the time we ordered they had run out of most sides. But the 2 workers were super friendly, you can see they put care in their craft, prepare your dish in front of you. The food was super good, I took 3 meats and tried BBQ Turkey. I generally find Turkey meat to be dry and boring - this was super well cooked. Price are super affordable, 3 meats and 3 sides for $16. No wonder there is a line and are seem to be sold out every day. Solid place!

We missed the live music since we arrived so early to snag a seat (place fills quickly!) FOOD: Popcorn provided as a snack-- yum! We ordered the steak and ribs, which were both good. The steak was simply seasoned but cooked medium rare as requested and tender. The ribs were tender (not quite fall-off-the-bone but easy to eat) and the barbecue sauce was tasty with a bit of a kick. We could each choose two sides, so we chose soup (red pepper and Gouda, like a tasty spin on tomato soup) and loaded baked potato (well done!) for the steak, and mashed potatoes (served broccoli instead, but it's fine) and onion rings (tasty & crispy). Condiments including ketchup, A1 sauce and mayonnaise were all on the table for easy access. SERVICE: Very nice and attentive. OVERALL: Very good choice among the relatively limited options nearby. Seats do fill up quickly. We missed the live music but were seated with the first seating without a wait, so we were content.

There's not a lot to do in tiny Bryce Canyon City, Utah. But I think its safe to say that the town's most popular attraction is the dinner show and combo at Ebenezer's. Our experience started off some live pre-dinner entertainment before the dining room was called row-by-row to hit the chow line. Dinners included steak, chicken, salmon, or BBQ (Pulled pork and chicken). After your entrée was plated, you go down the buffet line for beans, mashed potatoes, veggies, cole slaw, and a dessert. I had the BBQ plate of chicken and pulled pork and enjoyed it a lot. Live music was provided by the Bryce Canyon Wranglers that fielded a rotating lineup of keyboards, guitar, bass, male lead vocals, pedal steel guitar, female vocalist, fiddle, and harmonica. These are some serious songwriters and musicians who have collaborated with the Bellamy Brothers, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Maddie and Tae. Some have appeared on Broadway and television. They entertained us with songs by country music royalty! Hank Williams Marty Robbins , Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie , Glen Campbell , Ronnie Milsap, Johnny cash, Dolly Parton, Kenny Roger's, and George Strait were all represented. It was a night of good clean family entertainment and comfort food.

We waited about 15 mins to get our order taken, and after we placed our order, we waited about 40 mins to an hour for our two burgers and a salad. A larger party that was seated after us was given their food and almost finished it before we were given ours. We actually had to ask a staff member if our order got lost in the queue. We ordered two Rustler's burgers and one Caesar salad. The burgers came with onion rings, barbecue sauce, and cheese, along with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions on the side. Never have I ever had a burger that was so plain and unseasoned. I don't think they seasoned my burger patty or fries at all. Even the onion rings in my burger were floppy and soggy.

We decided to risk the lunch buffet for $18 at Ruby's Inn, figuring that there would be at least one item we would enjoy. There isn't much information about what's actually included in the buffet, either on review sites or on their own website, so we were a bit worried about the selection. While Ruby's Inn can't match a buffet in a larger city, we found the selection to be good enough, with plenty of protein and carb options, veggies including a salad bar, and dessert afterwards. Originally we thought most of the dishes would be Sysco food heated up, but I think Ruby's Inn actually makes a surprising number of items in house. Some notes for the meat selection: Pulled pork - dry but it's quite smoky like they actually smoked it rather than using liquid smoke. Zuppa Toscana Soup - might be from a bag, but is doctored a bit making it peppery and thick. Orange Chicken - gummy with thick breading and low meat ratio, but seems to be made with real orange juice in house. Meatloaf - dry with a thick layer of ketchup baked on top. Baked chicken - bone dry and extremely overcooked. For the carbs, there's sweet cornbread with a condensed milk sauce, rice pilaf that's surprisingly hearty, mashed potato that doesn't seem to be from powder or premix since it has small chunks still, that comes with chicken gravy, and finally mac & cheese, soft with a Velveeta-esque sauce. For dessert, there's vanilla and chocolate soft serve with Hershey's chocolate and caramel topping, and three types of standard buffet dessert squares. I don't make the food sound that appetizing (and honest it would deserve a 3 rating at max in any other setting), but considering the style of dining, the pricing, and the lack of competition in the area, it's good enough to satisfy. Pro-tip: try to time a visit around the tour buses. We arrived at 1:30PM on a Wednesday to a pretty empty restaurant. Thirty minutes later four entire tour buses unloaded their passengers, who were clearly ravenous due to eating such a late lunch. The restaurant instantly filled up and the line for food stretched down the hall and around the corner. Bathrooms - Plenty of larger rooms with multiple stalls around the hotel

One didn't have any carrots or beets or other toppings that I wanted for my salad like the other section did, so check out what is in the salad bar before you get in line.
