Went from a 4 bedrom, 2 bath 1,350 sq ft home to a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath 2,400 sq ft townhome. The problem? I can't fit my stuff in a place that is supposed to be 1,000 sq ft. more. Luxury? Must mean the ice maker doesn't work, the dishwasher leaks, the handle comes off the sink, there is one trash location with two bins for 140 townhomes so trash is always overflowing, the busted gym equipment, no water hose hookups. Everything in the townhome is cheap, the 4 different types of 80s ceiling fans, the fencing that is made of plastic, the roads that have potholes forming, lumpy and hilly. This place I know is going to be a disaster in the winter also the pool is tiny Did I mention I pay $1650 in WV for this luxury? So what is luxury? The bathrooms in the front office and the front office itself are pretty nice. There is a playground and basketball court and that's all I have. So why did I pick this place, it was sight unseen moving from Texas, I needed a what I thought was going to be a bigger place, a decent pool, working gym equipment, modern fixings, and dog friendly...which on paper this place looked like it would be. Idlewood Enterprises - A normal scene - Morgantown, West Virginia

This is a horrible place to rent from. The office staff is rarely in the office, the pool is not heated like advertised, the grounds are filthy, they let the garbage overflow into the street before they have it picked up. They don't enforce people picking up after their dogs, and they don't have any number other than the main number to call if issues arise. For a place that is supposedly luxury, they don't provide blinds for their units, regular mowing of the grass, cleaning before move in(but they do charge previous tenants for it), grounds cleaning, or luxury finishes in the units. They do a really poor job of running a business and just about everything else!!! I will be moving as soon as my lease is up! read more

only gets this rating because I can't go lower. My experience with this company is not even a little good. There are no individual yards for pets so all the grass is community use. NO ONE picks up after their pets!! It is simply gross!! Garbage is everywhere! Read those leases! After I cleaned my buns off to make sure I fulfilled my lease agreement, I should have gotten my deposit back! but no, they charged me for paint that was used for fixes on walls that were not mine. They were cracks in the seams and walls from settling. Then I was charged for their mess! People were allowed to park wherever and how many cars they wanted which is against the rules. Not a good experience at all and I will never refer anyone to this place! read more

Our family had a really good experience apartment hunting with them.They were very attentive and responded quickly. We are from Texas so we were shown the home all through virtual tours with the property manager and did everything via email which saved us many trips to WV. Not only was the office was clean and nice but the complex. All of our neighbors were welcoming when we finally made the trip to WV to move. The first reviews on yelp were discouraging at first but once we moved here and saw it for ourselves we discovered that you really can't believe everything you read online. We are so glad we found Graycliff for our family. The management has been so accommodating to us in being from the other side of the country and being dog friendly was a such a relief. We are so happy to be here at Graycliff for my husbands residency and it will be a sad day to move once its done. read more

This company claims to be of the utmost highest quality in service, home quality and "luxury". Let me tell you upfront these people are crooks through and through. Not only did they require upfront an additional $1000 dollars for a 100% "Non-Refundable" pet deposit on TOP of the $1725 regular security deposit PLUSSS they take out an immediate $350 as a "redecorating fee" but demand you have everything professionally cleaned by a company THEY OWN and provide documentation that you had it done. The house was filthy when we moved in, had pre existing water damaged at which MULTIPLE times I mentioned and requested they fix since it had gotten to the point that bits of our ceiling were FALLING OFF. They NEVER fixed it, and when we even agreed to continue our lease for another year but in a different unit they REQUIRED an ADDITIONAL NON-REFUNDABLE $1000.00 pet deposit from us as EXISTING tenants! Their main goal is to rip people off, for as much and as long term as they can. Their business practices are out right corrupt, faulty and at the very least unacceptable. Not to mention they charge you money then call you (within the same five minute time frame mind you) saying you owe them past due amounts or "fees". When you tell them that's inaccurate they literally just ran your credit card for over $400 they respond with "Oh, that was your card?".... Rent anywhere, ANYWHERE else. TRUST ME. These people have pocketed over $4000.00 of our money NOT including our rental payments for over two years, partial security deposits and THOUSANDS of dollars in "pet fees" (which don't cover any pet damages if there ever were to be any) and "redecorating fees"... They don't even repair things you bring to their attention while you live here. Like water falling from your ceiling so much so that the lights in that room no longer work and you're having to vacuum up ceiling bits of drywall and who knows what else. Then they CHARGE YOU for "excessive damages" after you vacate! Run, RUN,.... They're crooks who have every intention of taking you for every dime you have- and THEN SOME for reasons they fabricate throughout the term or your lease and refuse to provide documentation or proper invoices of. In their lease it even states you waive ANY and ALL rights to contest or dispute ANY of their outlandish policies and behaviors in any court in the entire state of WV. Seriously, it's stated verbatim. You're BETTER OFF RENTING DIRECTLY FROM a loan shark than from renting with these people. They're far, FAR worse. read more
