So, I reached out to a bunch of local tech repair businesses - Jack of Fix 'N Repair responded immediately, but I wanted to wait for more quotes so I could compare... well, 7 other business responses later, it turned out that not only was this place the fastest to respond, but they also gave the quickest turnaround time estimate (30-45 mins vs. 2-48 hrs) and the most competitive price ($20-50 lower than all the others). I went in the next day and was fully expecting to be told the iPad needed to be left there overnight (there were several others customers queued) and that there were other fees in addition to the quote... but nope! Every estimate was accurate: my iPad was returned to me within 30-45 mins with a flawless screen and no hidden charges. It was quoted at $119 (+tax). I opted for the come to you service. It said online they have a van and do the repairs that way, however they reached out to see if I was okay with a pick up/drop off instead. That made no difference to me. They were very communicative throughout the process. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and I was able to have them complete repairs the next day! They did a great job with the repair - it looks brand new and you can't tell that there was an accident in the first place! They also asked if I wanted to add a screen protector which I appreciated as I would prefer not to break my screen again. They charged $20 for the protector and application, which I thought was reasonable and worth it for me not to have to mess with putting it on myself.
