I don't want to knock other church's, Lord knows Christianity is under attack from within and without, but my spirit did not feel at home until I found this small church located in a residential setting. If you want to be a "Fly on the Wall" Christian, this church may not be for you, but if you want sound Bible teaching and family like fellowship then my new church the Windsor Ave Bible Church is it. I've been here now for several years and have seen both the Pastor and congregation grow in the Lord. Everyone individual is known by first name. Members bring food for lunch after each Sunday service for all to enjoy. . If your looking for the perfect church on earth it won't be perfect after you walk in, but if you want a down to earth caring friendly church that is Bible based and that share the same passion for the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and is family oriented, then Windsor Ave Bible Church in Oceanside NY does it. Being a mom of 2 boys, the biggest attraction is the varied ministries for children. We have a nursery & children's church during service hours (9am &11), Royal Rangers for boys (I am a teacher for 13 years) & Mpact girls & Rainbows for PreK (Fridays 730-9pm), Youth Group (Wed 7-9) and bible study for all ages. We have so many devoted & long-term members that make you feel welcome and connected. There are so many adult ministries as well. FGCIP is a great place for worship & fellowship.

The toy section was a bit over priced and the toys & games were basic "used toys and games" . If you are looking for vintage toys - forget it. There is a little bit of everything (A lot of Christmas & Halloween stuff) even though there is not a LOT of "vintage junk". Also absent was NO vinyl records and No clothes. So there's that.
