It was demolished in 1668 for another expansion and took forever to get funding and to this day has incomplete towers. Work with the assistance of slaves eventually stopped in 1873 and remains as is. Inside there is a famous ceiling painting. It one of the large historic churches near the waterfront, close to the canal bridge with a lovely plaza out front.
