You can't skip the cilantro rice with charro beans. The drinks are always stellar, and being gluten intolerant, there's a specific menu with tips on ensuring your food is gluten free. I always get their fish (or shrimp) tacos and queso. They were delicious! I ordered tortilla soup for my main course. The tender chicken and broth were enhanced by the vegetables. It was full of flavor! I wanted to love it, but I didn't. The first thing that's wrong is the service, they look and act so unhappy to be there. Service is mediocre. Food is OK, if you get the nachos or anything cheese you may love it. Outside of that food is not good. Drink menu is huge and again drinks fell short. I had to have a beer instead. I think I will try this place again when weather is better with my little one and sit outside to enjoy their outdoor playground. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely drenched in grease -- everything tasted like it had been sitting in oil for hours. Nothing felt fresh, and it left us feeling sick rather than satisfied. To make it worse, the utensils we were given were dirty -- one even had dried food still stuck on it. Totally unacceptable and honestly just gross. Cleanliness clearly isn't a priority here, and it shows both in the kitchen and at the table. We mentioned it to the staff, but no one seemed to care. No apology, no replacement, just a blank stare. Between the greasy, low-quality food and the filthy silverware, I won't be coming back. Treated my Grandson's to dinner today. We enjoyed delicious food as pictured, which was served pretty quick. The boys liked the food, but loved the ice cream station even more. Our server Luis was pretty attentive, even though they were very busy. The ambiance is very causal. It almost has the feel of a sports bar with the large tv's mounted. I rather enjoyed watching the Astros play, and so did the boys. But be warned. They also have a play area for the kids outside, so they can run off all the ice cream energy they've accumulated. Despite the bad reviews, I took a chance on this place and it didn't exactly disappoint. I ordered a gallon don julio margarita and some chips and queso for delivery and unfortunately the guy delivering took it to the wrong apartment. After waiting for a little over 30 minutes passed the estimated delivery time I finally reached out to the restaurant. I spoke with a girl for probably 10 min and it didn't resolve much. Finally she got a manager on the phone, i believe his name was Alex but don't quote me. He sorted everything out and had a new order coming in less than 5 min. Didn't place blame on me for anything, asked all the right questions to me and the delivery guy, was kind, and apologetic. I got my order extremely fast and honestly if it weren't for that manager my review would be 1 star and I would never order from there again. Thank you so much to this awesome guy!!! P.s. I'm not sure if the phones at this restaurant have this capability but I would highly recommend utilizing the "mute" feature if it's available. While on hold I heard a lot about tables in the restaurant and wait times and I don't personally care but someone else might. Just a tip. read more
