On Thursday, May 25th 2023, I drove over to iHeart Wave 92.7 @ 3771 SE Jennings Rd., PSL, FL. My intention was to ask how to sign up, as a local songwriter, to play n sing in the "Treasure Coast Songwriters Festival", which is being held at Pirate's Cove, June 1st - June 4th. I drove there because I was UNABLE to sign up on the internet, as well as UNABLE to reach anyone at 772 335-9300 or 800 562-9289. Both answering messages said, "Non-working number", yet these are the ONLY two phone numbers listed on the internet, to reach wave 92.7 (iHeart Radio). My main reason for posting this was that I saw, hung between two trees, a terribly desecrated 4' x 8' American flag, on the edge of the property at this location. It had an entire section torn out of the Union (striped) section, and writings in black marker, throughout the Field (striped section). I took it down and folded it up as I had tears falling down my face. I was angry that this had probably been hanging there for quite a while, at the location listed above. I will be reporting this to the PSL police department, as well as taking the flag to either the American Legion or VFW to have it properly laid to rest.
