Let's start when you walk in the door. The smell was like a wet dog. It was horrible and went into the bathrooms. I'm assuming they don't clean their mop water often. The service is slow and so unorganized. The staff was running around looking for a manger who was outside smoking. We didn't get a drink order until we sat there 13 minutes and then another 30 minutes before our simple food order came out. We never got things we ordered but they were on the ticket. The place is just poorly staffed and the right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. Don't go there hungry because you will starve waiting on your food that isn't really that good. Ihop food is usually tolerable regardless of the location, but not here. It's terrible. Truly awful. The entire plate of food I received was cold when it was served to me. The eggs were room temperature and were not prepared the way I ordered. There were actually ice crystals in the waffle, which was obviously not freshly made and was not what I ordered. When I pointed out the poor condition of the food to the server, she just shrugged and walked away. I recommend that you also walk, or run, away from this restaurant. IHOP is generally a safe bet pretty much wherever you go. The food was good and the service was good. The problem I encountered was with the cleanliness of the place. The entire place could use a good scrubbing but the bathroom was so bad that I almost preferred to go elsewhere. The restroom is something many patrons will see and I just do not understand how management could let it be like that. I imagine that I'm not the first patron to notice. Next time we come into town, we may choose somewhere else even based on something so simple. The other issue I had was my teen sitting at one end of the table and asking for a cup for coffee since it was sitting at the table. Apparently she didn't know that meant you would be charged. She got the coffee and poured six creamers and sugar into it before I realized what happened and took it away without her being able to drink it (mean mom, I know). I don't think children should be served coffee without the server looking to the parents especially if we are going to be charged. Maybe that's naive but honest. read more

We went in mid-morning on a Thursday with a group of probably fifteen people. Our server was Brenda and she was awesome - super patient because our group straggled in over a half hour time span, and she was extremely attentive and actually seemed excited to have such a large group! She got us all our drinks and kept everything refilled in a very timely manner. Everything else about our visit was typical IHOP - that is, yummy breakfast food served relatively quickly - but Brenda made a typical meal really special. They were "out" of a bunch of ingredients in our order (chicken strips, avocado, spinach) but failed to tell us until about 45 minutes of waiting for our food. My family went here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was almost empty, our server was friendly but not very attentive. My husband ordered the monster burger, only cheese and lettuce, specifically stating NO sauce because he's allergic to mayonnaise and doesn't take chances. We waited quite a while... The burger came out with only cheese AND sauce!!! We spoke with the manager and she handled it nicely, we waited quite a while longer for another burger. Two people go into IHOP for a mid morning breakfast and leave mourning the fact that we were just robbed. They should consider adding an E to their name. The worst service ever... I've had crappie service before, but this one takes the cake. The waitress (dont know here name, because it wasn't given) had two parties of two to serve, initially, and that was a problem for her. We were sited and waiting for about 10 minutes before our drink order was placed. She came back with coffee no spoon or napkins. She took the table before us order and went to put it in. She literally disappeared until their order came out. We were able to put our order in after she delivered theirs and the wait began. Now, she have four tables, and I only assume the pressure for her in building and overwhelming for her. Needless to say my food was cold and bacon under cooked. I asked for well done bacon she took the entire plate to the back and microwaved it. Now the bacon is to crispy and I am completely dissatisfied and ready to go. We sat at the table for at least an hour watching guest come and go around us. To top everything off she had an attitude when I didnt want the cold, burnt and crispy food. Today was .58 cent short stack day. We were seated right away, our server took a couple minutes to come over, she was very pleasant. We ordered just the short stacks and one side of bacon to split. Our order came out in about 5 minutes. The store was busy but not packed. The bacon was crispy which I like, can't stand limpy bacon and the pancakes were hot. Overall it was a good experience. I don't love Ihop as I feel their prices are a little high, but today for .58 cents you really can't beat it. read more

And the seats felt funny as if the back was folding in on you. So we moved to a booth near the window, totally opposite of the first booth. All the while the servers were loudcappin us for playing musical chairs... "Oh now they moved to blah blah blah..." You just couldnt get away from the smell or the attitude. I was getting hangry and thought to just deal with both but it's my birthday week and Im not about to give my smile away to a place and people who dont deserve it. Any thing you ask her you get a short answer as if she doesn't like her job. We were going to walk out then, but I really wanted pancakes. It took forever to get our food. I ordered a short stack with the butter on the side and sausage. Each part came out separately, and the butter was the last thing and took forever. If it hadn't started with the waiter being a jerk to the waitress in front of customers to start with, the rest of the stuff would have not bothered me so much. First she brought tea instead of pepsi, then she brought soomeone elses order and immediately took it away and gave to right person. Restaurant had an odor, employees were more concerned with socializing amongst theirselves than taking orders or cooking food. Was here 20 minutes before my order was taken and all employees clearly enjoying themselves. Took a long time to get our food. Only 3 tables occupied so not busy. My husband enjoyed his breakfast crepes. My Swedish crepes were not good. Too much butter melted on top. An employee set off the alarm while we ate.
