Someone needs to retrain Jose the manager. Won't be coming back to any ihop location after my experience here. I accidentally ordered at the wrong location online, which is an hour away. Ihop Moreno Valley strikes again! No A.C. yup you heard it no air conditioning. Very hard to enjoy breakfast while sweating and muggy conditions all the servers are walking around wiping their brow., it's a heat wave this weekend so call for repairs asap people! I ordered turkey bacon, they brought me regular no matter how many times I ask it never came house for water several times only to get it after finishing my meal. I keep giving this place a chance I talked with the manager very nicely about my experience only to be told so sorry nothing changes, from dirty, the music too loud and always something wrong with my order and slow service. So it was date night and I had coupons. So first off don't use IHOP coupons. Read the fine print. Anywho, we decided to try their burgers. All you can eat fries and free refills on your drinks. I will say the meat was seasoned good. The fries, I wasn't crazy about. The restaurant was empty but very clean. ( I normally go for breakfast and it's never empty then) our server was pleasant and helped us try to get the best deal using the coupons. Will I come again for date night??? Don't bother with this location. The pancakes were very dry and over cooked to the point that the top layer was able to detach from the middle portion. The hash browns were dry and flavorless. The food came out at just below room temperature. The steak tips have some sweet flavor to them, really gross and no valid reason why steak should taste sweet. The waitress was nice and the booth was clean overall. But the food was terrible! The reason we enjoy ihop is because they have warm, fluffy, melt on your tongue pancakes; this location doesn't taste anything like the food at other ihop locations. read more

DO NOT COME HERE I don't even know where to begin. There was one waiter on the floor only and he was dripping in sweat. (Probably overworked to be fair) The drinks didn't taste great but maybe I'm just being overly critical. Anyhow, when we got our order, which took about 5 minutes to come out, the fries looked as if someone grabbed the fries with their hand and just angrily slammed them on my plate. The fries were brutally lukewarm. My sandwich was also supposed to come with ranch which I didn't get and upon telling the waiter this he has the nerve to tell me I'm wrong and that it only comes with ranch if you ask for it and the fries had "just came out."Nonsense. The menu specifically says the ranch COMES with the sandwich. Nowhere does it say I have to ask for it. Cheapskates. My girlfriend ordered a sandwich and onion rings and instead received a sandwich and 2 pancakes. I don't know where that got lost in translation if the waiter is literally putting everything into an iPad. Was furious leaving the restaurant. We've ordered from this IHOP multiple times per year for several years now. The food is typically fine, no complaints there. The service isn't typically great, but it isn't necessarily bad either. Tonight (24 August 2023) was an exception. It seemed understaffed as far as waiters/waitresses are concerned, as my family and two other groups were waiting at the entrance for about 10 minutes. At 8:50pm the restaurant appeared empty from the entrance, however there was a single large party of around twenty people in the back, and perhaps one small family at a table. Eventually our waitress calls from across the room that she'll be right with us. After another several minutes she arrives and asks which of us were waiting the longest, which shouldn't be a problem, but the lady that came before us had to have been standing at the cash register for at least 5-10 minutes before we walked through the door. I would hope that someone is at least aware of when people walk into the establishment. Once the waitress came over, we were brought to our table quickly. I was holding my one-year old, and would have preferred to have been offered an infant high chair for him, but I didn't see any that I could grab myself, so I assumed they didn't have any. That wasn't a big issue for me, he ate just fine on my lap, it's just an observation. I'm sure if I requested it, she would've accommodated. We ordered our drinks and meals, which arrived within twenty minutes from when she took our order. However, she forgot two of our children's orders, and we reminded her of the orders, and she went to let the kitchen staff know to make them. She returned within 5-10 minutes for one of their orders, and we assumed the other order would be on its way, but we didn't see her for another 10-15 minutes, and when we did, we asked her if it was on its way, and she said she forgot about it and had the kitchen staff know to make it. It was brought to us about 15 minutes after that. While waiting for his meal to come, one of the male kitchen staff with dark hair about shoulder length decided to take this time to stand right by where we were seated and engage in a loud conversation with our waitress that included several F-bombs and S-bombs. Our waitress isn't responsible for his language, and perhaps he would've realized how loud he was being if he didn't have his headphones in his ears while working. But this isn't how I was expecting my birthday meal out with my wife and six kids to go. By the time half of us were finished with our meals was when my son received his meal. The only time we were asked if everything was okay with our meal, or if we wanted any refills was when I had to ask her for a refill when she brought our son's late meal to us. When we received our bill, we noticed that the current promotion of "Between the hours of 4pm-10m kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée" wasn't reflected on our bill. I asked for one of our children's meals to be made free since we ordered multiple adult entrées, and his was the only order that specifically came from the kids menu. There was some back and forth with the waitress where she seemed to not want to honor that, but after a minute or two she said that she would honor that discount. However, the new receipt she printed out wasn't itemized and I don't know that I really got the discount since it should have brought the price down from $113 to $103, but the price only went down to $107. I informed her that I didn't appreciate the kitchen worker using that language so loudly in front of my kids, and she said she would address it. Yes, my service could have been much better, but I don't know that I would fault the waitress for that. Perhaps if they had more than one waitress serving the entire restaurant she could've been more attentive to us. I still may eat from this restaurant, but I would likely only order it to go and not dine in again. read more

This morning was my second visit to this IHOP. Our server was Paola. She was amazing! She was attentive and anticipated our every need. My husband is a camel when it comes to soda, so we usually have to ask servers at other places for refills, but there was Paola, dropping off refills without missing a beat, and without us having to ask. She was also very kind, and never seemed bothered by extra requests we had. Marisol also helped at one time. She was great as well! Also, my food was done just the way I like it. We have been to this location 3 times and have received great service! We have eaten here on a Saturday and we waited a short time to be seated. The other 2 times were weekdays and it was much slower. I really liked their coffee bar section, something I had not seen before at other locations. The food came quickly and the coffee pot was always full on all visits! This last time we went in we were helped by Alannah. She was courteous and attentive. We go eat breakfast often. Lately, due to irresponsibility of some workers that decide not to come to work last minute, some of the workers are getting overworked. They have to pick up the slack that others leave. One person I have in mind is Cinnamon. She is the bomb. Her service goes beyond expectations. She somehow manages to handle costumers in such a timely manner. She knew the service at this venue sucks and she stepped up and took responsibility. I've been to this location now 3 times.
