We booked our reservation last minute on valentines weekend so we had a late dinner on a Friday night. We were sat and served immediately and had a wonderful meal. The bread was so soft and tasty, watch out you might fill up on the bread. We had the III forks salad and French onion soup, both very good but we were expecting more of a crusty top on the soup. Also and they 8 oz filet and fish of the day and split the fried brussel sprouts. Everything was so tasty but the Brussel sprouts are a definite must for a side!! We ended the meal with the pecan cake, so tall and fluffy. We couldn't finish it all and took it home. Moose was our server and he made sure we were treated like family and had a wonderful time. Came here for my 1 year anniversary and the day prior I was able to leave my wife's gift with the manager and have it presented with dessert, our server Nicholas was all around fantastic. Recommended great drinks and sides (our 1st time here) to go with our ribeye, food was cooked to perfection with a butter finish that I will happily pay $19 for again lol it made the steak even better! Wife and I gave these guys a try for New Years. Not disappointed by any stretch but also not what we were expecting. We had the bar raised pretty high for them. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great and the noise level was great too! We could easily hear each other which is a plus these days! The steaks were good, sides were good but good was about as far as I can give it. The deserts were excellent! I'm sure we'll swing by another time and try them again. I rarely drink, and when I do, its flavored sake...but the wine was free, so yours truly won't turn down free wine here!! I tried red and white...I'm not a fan or a connoisseur, so I can't rate on the alcohol, but I'm sure it wasn't cheap stuff. I know food and can't complain about it. It was good and not because it was free. Bread with coarse sea salt butter, appetizer melted in my mouth which I think was a beef carpaccio, lobster bisque, boneless rib eye medium well was on point....desert was the only thing I can reduce the stars sparkling in my eyes. I was going to the original location for years. Very nice atmosphere and fancy overall. But the food is hit or miss. I've been going for years. The cook on steaks is rarely on target as is the quality of beef (can be tough). Food can be over salted too. Sides are good, yummy bread but ice cold butter ripped it up. Wine options are really good. Overall very expensive for what you get. Stopped going 3-4 years ago. Just kept getting worse and worse compared to the competition. Tangerita-deeeeeeelicious! Sweet with some punch behind it. Literally one of my favorite drinks of all time! Of course I had 2 lol. My Oscar style ribeye was THEE best! It was so fever,juicy, seasoned perfectly. I couldn't eat it all in one sitting because it's huge but I definitely tore the second portion up the next day. We received the appetizer for free due to the "wait we experienced" which I never noticed that we waited ‍ lol. Maybe it was the tangerita's that made the wait bearable. Creme brûlée was fresh. This is definitely a 5 star restaurant! The price is expensive, but people are there for a great tasting steak. We started with a few cocktails and wanted more of the tasty bread, but knew we had to save room for the meat and sides. We had menus, we started with the crab cake for him and shrimp cocktail for me. Jason said that was the best crab cake ever. Frisco location. First of all I don't write reviews but I was so impressed I was compelled. We went to dinner for a birthday celebration and were very impressed by the cocktails, food, ambiance and outstanding service from Ashley, our server. What really blew us away is that a couple of us were a little cold and when our server found out she offered us pashmina wraps! I have been to a lot of very nice restaurants and have never seen this. We celebrated a 40th birthday for dinner and regrettably, it was not a great experience. To start, they placed our table of 6 in the bar-- completely set the tone for the evening and not a great one! Next, we had to request bread and butter, repeatedly ask for water refills, the blue cheese dressing on the wedge was disappointing, the steak crostini app was so salty that it was inedible by most, silverware was removed as we were still enjoying the late arrival of the bread - with no knife or plate to place the bread, entrees were all placed at the incorrect place settings, missing scallops on one entree (arrived after all the other meals), seabass was a bit fishy for our liking,, and our mother's entree arrived 7 minutes after the rest of the table - with no offer or kind will gesture to discount the late arrival entree. We love III Forks! We have been patrons of Silver Fox, now III Forks, for a few years now. We have tried Bob's, Nick & Sams, D Lincoln Prime also, but III Forks is our favorite. The Food is awesome! We usually get Calamari, then we split an awesome III Forks Salad. That salad dressing is the best! I usually get a Bone-In Filet Mignon with a Baked Potato. My wife usually gets the Chilean Sea Bass with Brussel Sprouts. And don't forget dessert! The service is just as good as the food. III Forks is a must do for dinner. read more

The scallops were the best that I've ever had and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our table shared the shrimp cocktail, scallops and crab cakes. For my meal I ordered the filet mignon with whipped potatoes, sugar snap peas, creamed corn and a side salad. For dessert I ordered the cheesecake, but unfortunately I was too full to eat it and I didn't think it would be a good mix with all the alcohol that I was consuming so I gave it to my friend. If you're looking for a delicious steak and a superb dirty vodka martini... (pro tip.. get extra olives.. they're stuffed with blue cheese and BACON)... look not further... We live within walking distance of this place, so it has become a date night staple. Their bread and sweet cream butter with finishing salt are amazing! As far as apps and salads go my personal favorites are the seared tuna and the wedge... Steaks come with snow peas, potatoes and creamed corn.. not my preference of sides but they have a wide variety of sides al a carte. My go-tos are Mac and cheese and asparagus. My husband likes their cream spinach and lobster bisque as well. They also have a nice wine menu; ask if they have any Sea Smoke on hand! The only things that I will say have ever been offputting to me about III Forks is the interior is a bit dated, and on one occasion we ordered a bottle of wine (I think Sea Smoke actually)and without asking, the waiter decanted the entire bottle and every time he walked by he would waft the smell of the wine up to his nose and make a very aggressive comment about how good it smelled. read more

Everything from this place is amazing- the service and ambience here is also exceptional. this restaurant is also one of the few steakhouses that accommodates people who eat zabiha only, you just have to call in advance and see if they have the zabiha options available for that day I can confidently say that anything you order off the menu will taste amazing.. We have not attended III Forks since they moved from North Dallas Parkway. Our recent visit to the new venue revealed the same outstanding food and service, second to none in the DFW area. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the ambiance of the facility. We understand why the western motif is gone, but the interior hard surfaces with no attempt to soften the hard surfaces left us unable to communicate with each other, and made it difficult to hear and understand the wait staff. We would strongly recommend they hire a competent sound consult to soften the surfaces so people can actually hear and understand each other while enjoying an outstanding food and service experience. May or may not return as there are too many other steakhouses offering a more satisfying experience when trying to visit with guests. read more

Let me start this review by saying I had really high expectations for this place. It came as a high recommendation from a friend and I have been talking about it with my wife for months. That said, the food was fantastic, both, my bone in steak and my wife's chicken fried filet mignon were phenomenal, probably one of the best steaks I had in a long time and we paired it with a french wine that was fantastic so it is safe to say my 3 stars instead of 5 comes from a very dissapointing waiter. The waitress that was not supposed to serve our table had to take over because our very bad waiter was doing a bad job all around all tables he was serving, he did not come to take our order once, barelly looked at us but was very quick into bringing the check and saying good bye. For a place with this price point I expected flawless service to the same level as Ruth Chris at least. We have lived in Dfw for over 15 years and for some reason had never been here. It was an interesting scene with some live piano music and the place was packed. You can sit inside in the traditional dark steakhouse manner or there is an "outdoors" bright section which was great. The wine list was interesting and we really liked Chase, the sommelier. He made the experience a great on and picked the perfect bottle for us. The service was very good. Those beef croustades were just delicious. We also enjoyed the scallops, the calamari, the Brussel sprouts and their filet was cooked perfectly. I wish we had gotten the soup we had ordered! We tried two desserts which were good, but neither was out of this world that I would order them again. We will be back to hopefully try their pecan cake when it's in season. And to try their salad which everyone says is great. Maybe they will even let us eat a burger at the table..... Such horror..... Why do they have this rule that you can't eat a burger at a table and only in the bar? We order an S ton of food and wine and would love to have a yummy burger too without sitting at the bar. This place is beautiful. The couch outside the bathroom is something else. Waitstaff was nice and quick. The flaky bread is worth a try and unique. Bourbon selection is real nice but not a lot on tap for beer. All 3 of us had 8oz filet. Mine had Parmesan crust. Really good. We are long time customers of III Forks and Silver Fox, but we had a terrible experience this time. We were seated right away, which was definitely a plus, but that is where the good experience ended. Our server, Charlie, was not attentive at all. We continued to run out of water during our dining experience, and my husband shared mine. We were finally replenished by another server passing by. We waited an hour between the salad and our entree with no explanation. We were never offered more bread while waiting. We were brought the incorrect glass of wine with no apology, and when we asked for salt and pepper, it was forgotten until we we're almost finished with our dinner. We then received our check and paid. We were sitting there talking and the server reached in front of my face to take the check off of the table. I found this very offensive, and I would definitely not expect this behavior at a fine dining restaurant. I thought maybe our server needed to clock out and leave, which would explain the haste of removing the check, but he continued to serve other tables. However, the food was good and steak was cooked perfectly. That is the reason for the second star. I'm not sure we will return, as there are so many other excellent steakhouse in our area. read more
