i gravitated to this job through m life time love of dogs, all dogs every breed and through my…read moreexperience of my own dogs. my self and my husband decided to do this job after we brought a siberian husky into our family who had awfull dominance and agresion problems, first of all due to confidence we looked for help through a few well known local trainers and we very quickly discoved that we knew better than they did and we very quickly turned storm our husky arround into a perfectly balanced pet with allot of hard work and effort, so following this 2 years ago we decided to offer our experience to other dog owners. we have helped many problem dogs and really enjoy the chalenge, the dog is nerver our main problem its owners who wot listen to good advice or who aren't willing to put the time in. we train in a very different way to most behaviourist, we assess the dog and train the owner how to manage and eliminate the problem behaviour as most trainers will work very epensivly over 6 month to train we know the best way is with the owner as they are the person with the dog every day and therefore the best trainer, so a we spend less time training we cost less to use. we also offe a life time of support after the training. we love our job and love hearing the success stories. Amanda who paints the portraits was really helpful over email and explained the type of photos she needed of the dogs to paint a good portrait. Delivery was great, it was arranged for a saturday to ensure i was in and the portrait was packed well to ensure it didnt bend on delivery. They also sell dog chews and treats too and sometimes throw in a packet of treats for free which is a bonus! The local dog refuge uses this company too so they recommended I continued to feed my dog on this when I got her from this refuge. I have never had a problem with either the product I have purchased or the service I receive. I just ring up and place an order for my dogs food and they deliver free of charge. I always deal with the same person and nothing is too much trouble. He is always very cheerful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend!

I walked him plenty of times a day, trained him for small periods of time a few times a day. He knew a few small simple commands, he was good with his recall, brilliant on his lead,but he was terrible in a car, he would sit and cry and all sorts. He would bark anytime there was a household appliance with a cable, or the cupboard under the stairs. He wasnt crate trained and hed go mental when we put him in it, so therefore he couldn't be left alone. So we built a spacious outdoor run for me to train him in, and to train him to handle being alone for small periods of time. So essentially the information his previous owner gave the centre was 80% bullshit. I'd had to ring the vets a few times as through night, hed stand up bolt upright, run to the corner of the room barking. So I'd sit on the floor away from him and try to comfort him from a distance, he eventually came round and went back to sleep barking and snarling in his sleep. Then all of a sudden one day he turned agressive. I was playing with him fine, he was licking me playing along, I answered my phone and when I hung up the phone. He tried to attack me, biting me, snarling his teeth, barking when I tried to stand up to get out the room to let him calm down, hed bite my ankles, shins and feet. So I'd collapse back to the floor. After this I found out it was just me hed bit! I eventually got out of the room and rang the rescue centre. They basically turned round and told me I was lying and that he was never like this in the centre. They eventually turned round and said they wanted me to return him as they wanted to do further training and assessments on him to try find out what was going on. So after hard conversations with everyone, we all agreed it's what would be best for everyone. We took him back, and the centre tried to find an excuse for everything that I was saying, saying he was playing with me. When I knew the difference between playing, and aggression. Well today we'd noticed hes back on the website for adoption. There is absolutely no mention of anything that I said, other than I couldn't commit to the further training he needed? I told the centre I wanted to continue training but they persisted for us to take him back. He was a brilliant dog but I think that the truth needed to be posted about him. And that this centre lie. I've heard numerous stories of this happenning.
