    IKEA on the outside.

I haven't been at a IKEA in such a long time and this is one of the coolest IKEAS of seen with great furniture and rooms to look at. Also their food is great and I think it is worth a try!

My first IKEA review needs an update. I still like IKEA when I need to take a long walk inside to avoid the Florida Weather elements, & browse a bit. We came this time because they give you a $10 gift card during your bday month. I really wanted to get some snack items but unfortunately, that was not included. After walking around for some time, we decided to sit in the cafeteria. They have really decked up nicely and there are some nice couch sets up to sit as well as tables and chairs. My husband ordered the meatballs and sides. Now it's 9.99 but it was 40 percent off so it was like $6 such a great deal they couldn't be beat. He also picked out a cake that was less than $2, but my coupon also included a free slice of cake with a purchased entree. So it wasn't too bad of a visit.

IKEA is still my go to for home decorations. I recently purchased a full length mirror and they did not disappointed! It is big just how I wanted it. I wasn't sure because I didn't check the measurements prior to ordering online. Looks perfect in my living room. See photo.

My cousin and I had a free day and decided to stop by IKEA and walk around. We had a great time walking around and acting out different scenarios in the staged rooms they have on display. We decided to share a plate from the restaurant for lunch. The employees were nice and kept their customer service throughout the rush hour. They had a couple of meals to choose from and ultimately decided the basic chicken tender and fry meal looked the most edible. We got two drinks, an apple desert cake, 2 chicken tenders and fries, and a side of the Swedish meatballs all for under $20! That's not bad! Everything was as expected not bad but also not something I'd be craving anytime soon. It did the job and it was an interesting experience, as we have never eaten at the restaurant before. If you're in IKEA and want a quick lunch I would for sure recommend.

"I brake for Swedish meatballs!" I used to have a bumper sticker that read that hehe Went for the food, stayed for the furniture browsing~ Really enjoyed our meal..lots of nutritious options for an affordable price. The salads, sides, desserts, proteins - all up to you! They have options for vegans and vegetarians. I usually get the salmon or OG meatballs but instead went with the breaded lemon cod. Their sides are pretty standard with their starches and veggies but flavorful. I liked the potato salad for the salad with the smoked salmon. Checkout is quick plus they offer hot tea and coffee! I usually don't drink soda but their fountain drinks are hella unique! They have sparkling lemon lime, pear, lingonberry. Kid friendly plus there's a play area opened certain time of the day for kids to play in while the adults shop!

3rd visit to IKEA, first time eating there. I ordered the Swedish meatballs meal. They did have about 5 other entree options. They have a selection of desserts and salads that are available. The meal included mashed potato's and peas and loganberry sauce (I think). I'm glad I tried it, I wouldn't go there again to eat but I think it's part of the experience of ikea. $8.99 meal, not bad.

Is it bad I go to IKEA to walk around more then buy stuff? Not that there is anything negative about their inventory or product, my child's loft bed is from here and is still holding strong after 7 years. It is just fun to me to walk around and see everything. Then I grab a snack at the food court and leave. 01.03.2025

Swedish meatballs with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with lingonberry jam. Also with chocolate cake on the side.

It is cafeteria style where you grab what you want but for the main dish and hot sides you tell the staff what you want and they scoop it for you then you keep working your way down to the cashier. All the staff were friendly. The tables and drink areas were kept clean and there was plenty of seating even on a saturday afternoon. Food was cheap enough and tasty.

We came back to IKEA because I had a birthday coupon that I wanted use. We got their super early in the morning not really having a plan on what to buy but we noticed when we got upstairs that IKEA actually sells breakfast from 10 to 11am which is pretty shocking because I never knew that they had croissants, cinnamon rolls full breakfast like eggs and Potatoes and bacon, I thought was pretty interesting. The food was overall good not bad for six bucks.

No one being served. Everyone waiting. Terrible service to return an item at IKEA!
    Barbara B.

It took me about 10 minutes to buy two chairs and a stool, which I bought "just in case" for a stage set. The line to return them is 20-25 minutes! And there is NO ONE at the counter, and the waiting area is FULL! Think DMV, only worse because your expectations are so much higher. I guess IKEA needs this elaborate return system to manage the extremely high number of returns of its products, many of which are high style junk! This, and their ridiculous shopping carts, are why I really dislike IKEA.

My go to when Door Dash sends me this way. Get to pick healthy meal and sit. They have to go boxes just no bags. I keep forgetting to bring my bento box. I have noticed that alot of locals come here to just dine in lol where else can you go n get high quality meal for the buck? Free refills included. Their pastry game downstairs is legit also. Love the little market downstairs. Nice Swiss meals n snacks in the coolers. We live the meatballs they sell in the freezers, they got them upstairs too.

Translation: Andorley was amazing! We had such a hard time loading our new couch into our jeep. He spent almost an hour helping us figure out how to make it fit and did all of the heavy lifting. He was so determined to get it done for us that he stayed after closing to make sure we could get home with our couch safely! Even with a language barrier, we could tell how kind and helpful he was. We want to give him a huge shoutout, that man deserves a raise and a huge hug! Thank you so much Andorley, we hope you see this!

Does this ikea have self checkout?

    They do not.

What is the phone number for the IKEA store in Tampa? All I can find is an 888 number and when you call it, the recording tells you that due to inclement weather they are closed.?

I decided to stop in at Dwell to see if anything felt like a good fit. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for this time around - though they had plenty of great pieces and they get new items in all the time - but I have to share how wonderful and helpful their team is. Not only is the store well designed and easy to navigate, but while I searched, I was asked by a few team members during my walk around if I needed any help. They weren't pushy and didn't stop me from what I was doing - just gently reminding me they were there if I needed them. Eventually, I realized I could use their help with some design choices I wasn't sure about. They happily walked around and showed me items like what I was looking for, and they were so helpful in honestly replying to my questions about whether certain items would look right with my furniture, which I showed them a photo of. They were honest and weren't just trying to make a sale - letting me know that my hesitation was right and the certain item didn't quite fit. But they showed me some other items that might. Super helpful and I truly appreciate their time and friendly demeanor. Now, to the gem I found along the way! Last holiday season, I badly wanted to purchase this adorable golden bear decor, as it reminded me of the giant golden bears out on Water Street. However, they sold out quickly and had to be purchased as a pair with a second panda decor that I didn't want, so I never purchased it. Imagine my surprise when I walked in to the Interbay Dwell location today and found it! I'm so excited to display it for this holiday season. Once I finish up with my move, I'm excited to go back to Dwell and figure out the finishing touches. And I know the friendly team there will be there to help!

What's funny is we were just at Goodwill so I saw a glass jar that was similar to one I found at Goodwill, it was $8 at Goodwill and $34 there. They actually had two, but one had a crack on one side, which is why it was discounted by $50. I decided to go for the non cracked one, which was $140. I think this is reasonable for the quality and it's a statement piece. I saw tons of other items that I loved. There was a standing desk for around $350 and a lot of benches and tables all in the couple of hundred dollar range. Again, not cheap, but definitely less expensive than they probably were when they were new. The guy working there was really nice and helpful. Parking was easy on both sides of the building. James is a craftsman...his work is beautiful with excellent attention to detail. He then only paid me for three hours of work. I was outraged by this and he said the agreement was for three hours and I said well it wasn't three hours it was 11 hours. This piece of garbage doesn't pay what he owes. He agreed on text message later that he owed me an additional $520 but tells me that I have to take him to court because I hurt his feelings. I have it on record that he acknowledges that he owes me the full amount and this jerk has the audacity to tell me he's going to wait to pay me for it to process through court. Do not do business with this man. He doesn't install the work the correct way and he cuts corners. And then he wanted to demand my insurance and say that I am 100% responsible for the door install when I told him the correct way to do it, and all he did was dictate how he wanted it done and get in the way and slow down the door install process , he doesn't know how to use a tape measure and he measured it incorrectly so many times I had to redo everything he was trying to do. It would've taken half the time had I done this by myself, including opening up the drywall and adding additional studs for the barn door to mount to. This guy does terrible work and then he is a hostile liar. Manipulator. Trying to pay me $50 an hour instead of 75, and then coming up with nonsense babble about wanting to meet me in person just to waste my time and try to pay me less than what he owes.
