Once you've been to IKEA once, you'll keep getting a mysterious urge to go back there every bank holiday weekend Its a monster of a place, with a massive variety of flat pack furniture, household items and nik naks at budget busting prices. The first floor is dedicated to showrooms which demonstrate the furniture collections, often with example rooms showing how you can create a cosy, complete home for a bargain price. The lower floor has the 'market' area - where I guarantee you wont be able to pass through without picking up at least one or two things you never knew you needed but just have to get. There is also a restaurant, childrens creche, swedish supermarket and bistro - for an extremely cheap hotdog and lingonberry juice once you've undertaken the arduous task of locating all the flat-packs you wanted in the self service warehouse area, and negotiated the often busy tills. read more

Ikea got a lot of stuff and the furniture are cheap and got a lot of choice if you need something for your room is a perfect place and the hotdogs are good and cheap! read more

I love this place. You could get all sorts of furniture / fixtures from an Ikea, often at a very good price. It's a shame that they do not have stores at more central locations, but with the price they offer - i bet that's the reason. We managed to decorate the 4th bedroom (from study room to study & baby nursery) for under £500. Great DIY comes with Great prices. read more

I think you are all very luck to be able to visit Ikea, I dont buy lots because of getting it all home, I live 93 miles from this Edminton one, which takes 2 hours to get here! So what I would like to say WHEN WE WILL WE GET OUR OWN IKEA IN NORFOLK !!!!! So many people in our area want one where we live, we have everything up here meaning big shopping areas, akk the big companies , the road is a straight all the way though on the m11 A11, so WHEN are WE going to get ONE!!!!! read more

Badly cared plant. Yesterday I took my daughter to IKEA Tottenham, she needed to buy some items for her studio. Over time IKEA has become a meeting point for us, where we can go for a meal or a coffee and to catch up. Like in many other trips to Ikea we walked through the store. Kitchens, lounges, bedrooms, bathrooms. They all have been thought out perfectly. Every single detail has been ingeniously planned. The perfect place to find all you need to make your home cozy for a reasonable price. Ironically, this perfection does not include the one department that contains living "items". The department of plants. What you see instead is a section that has been left neglected over and over due to a poor management. It seems to me that such a big company is incapable of providing a proper environment-space for the plants they sell and does not care to train their staff . As an example, you can see how indoor and outdoor plants are kept within the same space when in fact they required very different care like soil, light, temperature, etc. The consequences of this careless management leads to exceptionally dry pots that haven't been watered for weeks, withered flowers and a flora that is condemn to die slowly . This ikea is just Huge!! There are items for just about every room in your house, Including , Kitchen ware, Bathroom facilities, Bedroom(curtains,blankets) and all them sort of things. You may dread shopping here because its so huge, but ikea sells on the go food like Hot dogs and also sell drinks. In ikea nothing is expensive and you will always be left happy with what you have bought read more

Ikea as u may know has everythin needed for your home,it is really big and has a cafe sytle place where u can get fod which is nice especially the fish and chips. U can get abit lost if u dont know where ur going but theres always staff on hand to help and point u in the right direction. They also have a part where kids can play supervised whilst u shop,and delivery service to help if u dont drive. The hotdogs are fab also and cheap at 35p each or set mealsno more than 2 pound. The only thing with ikea is there instructions very complicated..! read more

Does what it says on the tin - cheap, cheerful and works just fine. It did take me 5 visits to sort my kitchen out hence my rating. staff not always particularly helpful either. Take some headache pills before you go! read more

This is a huge place, and when you go in you are first shown a series of almost show homes, rooms that show you how Ikea products could work in your home. So there's a studio flat with loads of space saving idea, a modern kitchen, a kid's bedroom etc. They provide you with pads and pencils upon entering so you can make a note of these products as you can pick them up later as you go through the store into the warehouse area. The cafe serves the usual Ikea fare of Swedish meatballs, fish and chips and so on. Make sure you get your Ikea Family card (which is free) which entitles you to lots of discounts, free hot drinks and so on. read more

Like any other IKEA - this is a huge one and you better come wearing comfortable walking shoes as there is plenty to walk through. The location of the store is quite pleasant and they are spread over a large area. They have lots of free parking around the store. The store is split on two levels and has everything on display from bedrooms, kitchens, offices to the accesories you may need for any internal space. There is also a restaurant on the top floor where you can get decent food for a nominal amount of money. The layout is good and as usual you have the pick up area where you go and pick your items. Near the exit of the store, there is a small snack bar for things like hot dogs, chips, ice cream and such. We love IKEA. read more

You've all heard what happened when this store first opened I am trying to forget it! Remember in the news people, hurting each other just to be the first to grab the bargains at the store's opening. My first visit to this store was last Christmas and my first impression was WOW, this is massive. The layout and décor were brilliant. They have display of bedrooms, living rooms, kitchen and all the usual displays. Compared to other stores like MFI & Homebase which I have visited previously they have amazing things at reasonable prices. I bought some Retro double size bed covers for £6.99 and funky bathroom mirrors £1 each. I love Ikea now and cannot wait to have my own flat so I can buy everything for my flat including kitchen to bedroom from them. Their products are very modern and they really prove that you can have a beautiful home without spending breaking the bank. If you want a classic, funky or urban décor, they really have it. The staffs are generally helpful and I remember a woman was on her break but she still stopped to assist me. Not many shop assistants still do this. read more

Someone above was saying that a product was sold out, he asked when it would be in stock again and he was angry because the staff didnt know. And seriously are you complaining about the staff?? The only way the staff would know if its management tells them. Obviously in this case they didnt receive this information, so it might be management fault, but not the staff fault. I work at a supermarket and i also dont know when the stock is coming, because no one gives me that information. If you dont like this go and complain about the company, not about the staff in such a childish way. read more

love ikea you can get lost in this one though but a fun place to shop so much to see
