Hello Yelpers! You go, Atlantic Times Square Plaza! Home to an AMC, 24 Hour Fitness, dim sum place, a dozen restaurants, a store with only claw machines, and iKicks. Atop it all are apartments that nobody wants to buy or rent. No matter, iKicks is a hit, the underground parking is free and plentiful, and the chances are good you will leave (to the sound of incessant Pechanga Casino theme music, which one Yelp reviewer said resulted in her son getting bad grades in school) with some new sneakers. Sneakers are the name of the game at iKicks, and the selection runs far afield of the usual mall offerings. Some classic and speciality kicks are there, along with several shelves of sale kicks, which is where I usually find gold. Literally, as I picked up a gold pair of Nike runners on a recent trip. Service was sweet. The folks I've worked with were knowledgable without being pushy. Rihanna's Fenty Puma slippers? YES. Pick up a pair and then it's on to the claw machines. A hit! read more

iKicks is a pretty spacious boutique in Atlantic Times Square that mainly sells sneakers. The store is new, clean and bright! It's located near the 24 Hour Fitness so after my workouts, I always pop in to see what new shoes they have in! Such a bad habit because I'm turning into a sneak freak! They carry a tiny selection of reeboks, pumas and other brands but most of their clothing and shoe selection are from Nike. They have those special editions here too. After a night of clubbing, I went to Tasty Garden and saw a few people camped outside the store to get their hands on the latest Air Jordans. Such dedication! *Insert applause* All of the staff employed here are very helpful and friendly! I'm not sure if they work on comission or not, but they are not pushy and will help you. I was lucky to get the grand opening 20% off special. They mark up the prices a bit but its still slightly reasonable since they will give you a discount if you join their club. You must sign up to join their free membership though. The first pair you buy will be at full price but for your second purchase they will give you 20% off. Any shoe thereafter, will be at a 10% discount. For a boutique, the return policy is reasonable. You have 30 days to return or exchange your purchase granted the product is in good working condition. Found this place on Yelp while looking for a shoe store in the area. Parking is good, and the place is a bit hard to find because its in the cut. but when you do find it, its ok. just... ok. They have a pretty cool layout, but shoes look a bit outdated and over-priced. they have a small stock of jordan (non-retros) but are about 10-20% more than suggested retail. It was cool to see some $70 Airmax's on sale as well, but i wouldnt have know about them if i didnt ask to see the shoes in the back right shelves. No one even asked us once for help. the workers were just posed by the cashier talking to each other. read more

HORRIBLE. situation: got a gift in the form of a pair of nike shoes that were too big for me. i go back to the store to possibly get the shoes in a different size. they don't have the right size for me. maybe i should exchange and get something better like air max's (because the ones that were gifted to me were on sale and maybe that's why they didn't have any sizing) BUT no the few that i did like they didn't have the right size for me either and i consider myself to be the average shoe size. the entire time the african-american employee that was 'helping' me seemed like she didn't even want to be there and that she was more into listening to her g-funk era music. when the manager came back, the manager was on the phone busy doing some stuff. all in all i felt rushed and did not want to be there any longer. look, if you're going to give me attitude, do yourself a favor and don't work in retail. I ended up just returning the shoes, i did not want them to have a penny of my or my friend's hard-earned money. I contacted the storeowner via electronic communication to address this concern. he replied back asking for my phone number, i msg it to him. After one day, no response. Sent another msg asking when I should expect a phone call. It's been over a week- still no response. Extremely disrespectful, from management on all levels down to the employee. I'd rather pay even just a little bit more to get the same shoes elsewhere. If you are coming here to get some shoes, you better know exactly which shoe and size you're getting. Also I heard from my friend and others that they can be pushy about trying to sell you shoes. and i'm going to end with the same word that I used at the beginning of this review as I have not given such a negative review in a long long time... Friendly staff but a bit pushy... I came in with my GF to buy her a pair of running shoes. We knew what we wanted, a flexible running shoe, but the sales person kept pushing for a different shoe, and giving us reasons why our choice of shoe was incorrect. She seemed a little offended that we did not take her advice. She tried to persuade us by saying "if you ask a doctor they will tell you... yada yada." No offense to doctors, they know germs and illness, sprains and strains, but they are not necessarily the experts on exercise and physiology (I am quoting a doctor friend of mine when I say this). It seems like the the staff had good intentions however but just a bit too sure of themselves and pushing the product a little too hard. The great thing about this place is I got a 24 % discount for being a 24 hour fitness member. Hooray discount. Also, their shoes were competitively priced and actually cheaper than most of the places I searched previously. read more

iKicks is a very modern shoe store in the Atlantic Times Square. They sell sneakers obviously and not just the cheap $20 shoes at payless but the high end ones like Nikes & Jordans. They have rare quickstrike shoes here sometimes so you have to check it out once in a while. This boutique made me feel like I was a shoe store in New York because of the decor. I'll be coming back from time to time to see what's new. read more

Two things about this place: Bad customer service and their ignorance. Came in to return a pair or Jordans that I had got for someone who didn't fit them. When I walked in, the Hispanic girl that was working there totally disregarded me and continued to what she was doing. No acknowledgment, nothing. She was giggling over the phone, scanning inventory and talking to someone over the phone who apparently seems like another employee because they were discussing about what shoes were in the system. I understand that she was in the middle of something, but she couldn't tell the other person on the phone that she could call her back because there's was customer waiting? plain rude... if they truly cared about great service, this would've not happened. I felt so annoyed just looking at her walking pass me back and fourth behind the counter as if I didn't exist. When she finally realized that I was standing there for 5 minutes staring at her, she helped me and told me that I couldn't return my shoes because it was past 15 days. Apparently for retros, their policy is return within 15 days. Uh... no one told me that when I bought the shoes? Nothing printed on the receipts or no signs by the register or anywhere in the store that states that. Again, shitty service. She told me I should've called. Uh yeah, I've been trying to call but no one picks up. Of course I wouldn't want to waste my time driving there knowing that I can't return them. I'm not so pissed about the return, but more of the service overall. The worst service you can get is someone who ignores you. On a separate occasion, I decided to stroll in with my boyfriend to take a look at some shoes they just got in. Apparently, they advertised on their Facebook that the Nike Roshe Iguanas were in, but for womens. It was hard to believe, so I went to go check it out. I bought them out of excitement, went home, did some research and turns out they were not the Iguanas. They were something that was very similar, but not identical to the Iguanas. I called them immediately and told them that it's not the Iguanas, and the same Hispanic girl told me that it's not, but it's almost identical so that's why they just called it the Iguanas. Wtf... you don't do that. Totally misleading and they don't know what they are talking about. When I bought them, her and another guy were so confident and sure that they got the Iguanas in for womens. I told them that they should change that on Facebook because that's pretty embarrassing. Good thing they accepted my refund. Although I do like that they get new releases and they are conveniently located, it doesn't beat the crappy service and how unknowledgeable they are in shoes. Nice little boutique with a decent selection of shoes from your regular brands.. They won't have the selection one may or may not be accustomed to but they hold their own just fine.. Terrible service. They tried to rip me off. When I first bought my sneakers they told me I had thirty days to return them. Then, after seeing all the bad reviews on here I called them and asked them how many days I had just to make sure and they changed it and told me I only had ten days to return them from the date of purchase! read more

I had never seen this place and I'm always at this plaza at the AMC. the store is next to the 24 hr gym. Anyways I LOVE THIS STORE!!! Is still kinda new so not a lot of people know about it so usually when i'm looking for some exclusive release this is my first spot to go to. The employees are cool most of them know the shoe game, their playlist is awesome lol. I highly doubt that they are selling FAKE SHOES. I have gotten a lot of my J's here and none of them are fake!!! this store is dope !!! i am a huge sneaker head so when i found this store i was excited. they have so many exclusive shoes foams jordans, kd's rosheruns, i can go on forever... the service was really good too. most sneaker boutiques have an attitude but the girl here was really nice even though i tried on a lot of shoes. she was honest about the product and quality of shoes.only down part was i spent my $$$ cus i couldn't decide what not to take!! but everything is retail and i even got some running shoes that were on sale, can't go wrong with that! if you want to get some nice a$$ shoes this is the place to come! !! read more

i am a huge sneaker lover and when i want to know wat's new out there i hit up this spot. they have a very cool selection of shoes. it's a lit out of way but i like going here just because i feel only a few ppl know about this spot. the employees are very helpful , friendly and quick on getting service. with the service and product i walk out of there with helps me not feel guilty about the money i spend. read more
