The location is very hidden in a back alley and you don't really see how big the restaurant is from the outside. It's set inside multiple old stone cellars. There's multiple rooms inside which all feel very warm and luxurious. Everything was incredible, especially their pizza and red wine! The Margherita pizza was to die for! We also had their spaghetti ragu bolognese, which was yummy and a HUGE portion size. Their house red wine was delicious and very fairly priced (9 euros for 500ml). We ended up getting three servings and they even gave us a complimentary 250mL serving at the end! The servers were so kind and everything came out very quickly. We found seats immediately, even during peak dinner hours. It's conveniently located in the center by the train station, so it's a nice patio for people-watching. They were also extremely dog-friendly! The bathrooms were also really clean. I highly recommend the Lamb chops! They come with polenta and a side of pesto olive oil! Cooked like no other! Great dish. My husband also got a meat dish he fell in love with night one. Sure, the interior could be refurbished etc etc and there are more trendy places in the world, but I come here for the great meals and hospitality. And if you did not recognize, we are in the middle of nowhere. Well, let's switch over to the content. The first thing you recognize when entering the restaurant is the very warm welcome and kindness of the owner Giovanni or his staff. Sometimes you feel like being invited by a family member to a dinner. The menu offers a vast variety of Pizzas, Noodles and Italian dishes, including Starters, a Primo, a Secondo as well as Desserts. All in an excellent quality and deliciously prepared. My personal favorite is the Pizza "Boscaiola con Tartufo" (Mushroom Pizza with Truffles) which is epic. But also the rest of the menu is worth trying.
