We speak only limited Italian and the proprietor was kind enough to describe everything on the menu for us in English that was much better than our Italian. Everything was outstanding-fresh, delicious and very tasty. Only minor complaint was the bread they served, at no cost, of course. It was a little dry, but I hate to even mention it. We returned three more times with friends and recommended it to everyone we came in contact with. Superb, tasty, attractive, special are all superlatives that we have to throw at it. We are already oontemplating returning to the Chianti region and will hit La Cantina for a reunion lunch or dinner and to hug Alessandro and his wonderful mother/chef who produced extraordinary beautiful meals every time for every single person.
