Renè, the half Czech half Dutch waiter was willing to ask the guests if they would mind moving but we stopped him. The food was delicious, he prepared three courses of different dishes, was insanely kind, knowledgeable and attentive. When all guests left, he let us stay almost 30 minutes longer so we could enjoy the desserts. It will set you back about 30 euros but it is worth every penny. Reservations are advised and I recommend fasting well before your meal. 10-courses is a lot of food. Every week the menu is different. The name translates to 'head of the land' as the geography of the area comes to a point with the waterways there. I cannot recommend this place more highly. As mentioned in an earlier review, they have been in business 20 years. They being husband and wife. We never saw him, but my wife spotted a man in the kitchen and asked her. They make everything on the menu themselves - right down to the table bread. The food was absolutely superb and the presentation was exceptional. We had made a reservation because I learned about the place on Yelp and knew it was small. On the day we visited, it was quiet with only three tables (another cool aspect about a quiet highly differentiated evening) and the one of the couples we spoke with also heard about this place on Yelp. When we asked the owner, she said she didn't really know anything about Yelp until recently when they sent her some mail. This was a fantastic dinner and evening. I would love to come back soon!

Unlike most Belgian restaurants, the owners or staff accepts it if you just have the food and some tap water. The audience is a good mix of students, couples, academics and young professionals. Sometimes the noise is a little overwhelming. But most of the times I was here, it was a nice experience. Dessert are fresh made cakes. My advice is to leave some space, as they are delicious.
