He recommended the latter as being local and not a blend. It was a wonderful wine. They started us with a small taster, a soup which I think was roasted tomato soup with and perhaps some other flavorings, thick ands smooth and tasty. my wife started with their home made Pate and I had the Braseola. Both were excellent. My scallops were served on a bed of thinly sliced pears surrounded by a mild punkin sauce/puree. my wife had shrimp over white polenta with a black truffle sauce...awesome.
