"Hello??? We are ready," was what I had to say out loud to get the servers attention. Hungry, negative caffeine and exhausted from the heat, we walked in. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. They had just opened. We were escorted to our table. We sat around looking at the menu for atleast 15-20 minutes before anyone attended us. I had to ask the server if she could get us water while we wait. She brought a jug full of water and cups. Did not bother to pour it out. I went ahead and served everyone. At this point we were ready to order. Our table ordered the following : 1 chicken almond salad (came with grilled chicken, greens, almonds, beets, tomatoes, carrots etc), 2 orders of chicken schnitzels (came with chips and salad), 1 order of fish and chips and some nuggets and chips for the toddler in the group. Another thing that annoyed us while ordering was the server kept asking if we wanted large or small for every dish we ordered from the menu. We made our decisions for the items we chose based on the only prices listed on the lunch menu that we were given. The menu did not have large or small listed with its respective prices. This was confusing everyone and slowed the ordering process. The service was terrible, but the food certainly turned my mood around. Everything was delicious and thoroughly satisfying. Portions were generous as well. If it weren't for the food miraculously tasting so great, this restaurant definitely wouldn't have made 4 stars. read more
