This location is adjacent to Grant MacEwan university and next door to Marvel college. What brought me in the second time was the sign that said half price coffee, and when it's -30 out all warm drinks are a must. This place is a hidden gem!! The first time I grabbed a quick lunch here of an Italian sandwich and the second this delicious creamy vanilla latte!! The bathroom is clean and perfect even for reading a book or cramming for a test. Best of all is the atmosphere of this cafe. Texture was Not good. Ice cream with same toppings was 8/10. Could find cookie dough in this one and ice cream was decent. NOTE staff did say it was his 3rd shift so I understand he is new but it was too bad I paid more for his lack of knowledge and query not accurate recipe as I do hope the milkshakes are better than the one I got.

My photos don't capture how vibrant and welcoming it truly feels. I ordered the snapper fish meal and it was excellent -- fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Today happened to be their last day before the owner takes a well deserved break, and they'll reopen on January 13. When he returns, the dine in area is fully set up with new furniture, ready for people to sit down and enjoy the food in this beautiful space.
