This was one of my favorite meals in Paris... a Korean place that can easily outshine the other local spots? Sign me up. Here are the need to know things: 1. Flavorful, delicious food at a good price. I still think of the spicy pork bibimbap all the time. 2. Quick service 3. Local energy. When I came in, mostly everyone there was a local Parisian catching up among friends. 4. Get the honey lemon tea. Perfect for this colder France nights. Overall, a top place in the city!

Amazing & authentic Korean food after lacking Asian food on our trip! Service was quick and the food was great. Meals also come with 3 sides of banchan.

Perhaps the most decent Korean restaurant I've found in Paris. Having a Korean wife and coming SoCal. I think I have become quite jaded when it comes to Korean food. So in my opinion it is very hard to find a decent Korean restaurant in Paris and we've tried several. I feel that the problem isn't really so much with the recipes or the chef but the availability of the ingredients? But that's really just conjecture on my part. The biggest issue that I've found is that none of the highly rated Korean restaurants in Paris use the proper type of rice. Which should be the short grain polished rice very similar to sushi rice. Some use long grain and over cook it. This place at least uses the short grain rice although unpolished. Plus, they don't overcook it too much. The next issue is the beef quality, much if the beef in France is not of high quality and is typically not very tender. The bulgogi here isn't too bad but that's because they chop the heck out of it. I would recommend the spicy pork or a chicken dish when in France. Duck and lamb are also pretty good in France. But beef. Not so much. Of course some cuts of beef are still good when braised. Like beef cheeks..

    Side dish (banchan), well flavored.

If you've had a long day of shopping/touring in the Printemps Haussmann area and you want to be loved through Korean hospitality, this is your place. Having the authentic flavors of Korea including all the dishes one makes with kimchee against the background of the City of Lights is a sublime experience. You walk in with the smoky aroma of a mother's kitchen and walk out with the belly full of flavorful memories and a for sure talked about experience when you recall your time here. We ordered tofu kimchee stew, hot mixed bibim rice, marinated chicken, and bean purée stews. Our mix of omnivores and vegetarians were well served. The finish with the grilled Korean pancake and ice cream was a wonderful finish.

I had a lunch with three friends, I ordrered a bibîmbap pork (slightly spiced). The food was delicious, flavors were quite subtiles, accompanied with a pinte of Asahi beer, we had a good time. I recommend it.

Surprisingly good Bulgoghi Soup. It hits the spot. Nice stress reliever from traveling fatigue.

The Jjigae and bulgogi came out and both were definitely solid and much needed.

Pierre Sang was pretty good. This was the first time I've done a "blind tasting" where they…read moreencourage you to guess the ingredients used. I liked this and I had fun puzzling it out with my friends. We did not do a very good job! It was hard to guess the ingredients and I think they purposefully try to fool you a little. I have photos of each course but I don't remember all the details. We had 6 courses. There was a small starter of a bao bun; mine was markedly less filled than the others on the table, so the proportions were off and I felt shortchanged. Then we had a fish course, a course with savory ice cream and some bread (like cornbread), a mushroom "pate" course, a cheese course (one big slice of cheese), and dessert (ice cream and apricots?). I felt like everything (taste, texture, ingredient quality and variety) were good but not great, especially since they are making things easier on themselves by doing fixed menus. Staff tried to explain what all the dishes and ingredients were, and they did good but not great job. They spoke English but didn't always know the English words for specific ingredients. The ambiance was fine. We were at a long, narrow communal table on the first floor just next to the kitchen and the door. It was a little cold from people coming in and out and a little busy with all the staff moving around. It wasn't the most refined or relaxing atmosphere.

We had an amazing experience at Pierre Sang, unlike any dining experience we have ever had. We went…read morefor my husband's 50th birthday and it was such a treat. Everything was innovative and delicious (I'm sure the menu changes regularly). They accommodated my gluten allergy and I had the best gluten free bread that I've ever had (made fresh just for me!). We had an outstanding server who taught us a ton about interesting wines as we opted for the wine pairing too. I read some reviews about price point, but it was much cheaper than Prix Fixe in SF, Chicago and NYC where we dine regularly and the portions were big. The vibe was cozy and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood before hand.
