I had very little wait time and was provided a complimentary ultrasound screening to determine the best course of treatment. My recommended treatment was sclerotherapy. The nurses that treated me (Celina and Dana) were so professional and caring throughout the procedure, which was not very painful. They sent me home with very specific instructions that were easy to follow. I am now 10 days post-treatment and my legs look great! There's still a tiny bit of bruising, but it's going away. I had been to his clinic before for laser hair removal with good results so I decided to see him just to make sure I did not have a problem. Dr. Ritacca gave me a very thorough exam and was very nice and informative. He said I have no symptoms or signs of varicose veins and he did not recommend surgery. He recommended scleropathy for aesthetic purposes only which was the whole procedure I had started out trying to do at Vein Care Specialists. Had I listened to Vein Care Specialists, I would have had a surgery with recovery time and been out $3,000. I would be very careful going to this place. I do not recommend them at all. I do recommend Ritacca Laser Center in Vernon Hills instead. I will be writing a review on them shortly.
