Sitting inside it gets pretty crowded -- both downstairs and upstairs -- and there are so many regular customers that I hypothesize are permanently attached to the inside tables. Delivo publishes their daily lunch menu on their website, but I rarely check it -- they always have hearty salads with many toppings to choose from, so I take that if I'm not feeling the lunch specials. My favorite salad here is smoked salmon with goat cheese -- massive toppings! They also offer soupe du jour -- both their tomato soup and borsch are extremely flavorful. The artisan bread on the side is fantastic. So if you find yourself in Munkkiniemi, and weather allowing, drop by Delivo and grab some affordable, tasty lunch to enjoy on the terrace!

It might've been a bit too much jam, but scoop some off and it was delicious. Bread was soft and fluffy. And almost melts in your mouth. Cinnamon rolls (~$4) were extra fluffy and had a subtle cardamom hit that made the rolls extra cozy. Definitely on the larger side, so id recommend sharing. Salmon soup is a Finnish specialty and perfect on a cold winters day. It came with a fresh slice of bread and butter. The soup had 3 big tender pieces of salmon, potatoes, onions, and dill swimming in a creamy fish broth. Delicious and hit the spot! For ~$15, it was a great lunch! There is usually at least 3 or 4 different roasters represented here and several different coffees from those ones to select from. Coffees are made to order, usually on the Aeropress which produces a nice smooth cup. There is of course the option of having espresso based beverages as well. All the coffees here are prepared close to perfection so the coffee itself is a reason to come here and I always try to visit when I am in Helsinki. There are of course other things than coffee here and the teas and soft drinks are good as well as the chocolate. They do also sell a lot of coffee gear for home so if you are in need of a grinder, cups, scales etc this is also the place to go. Service is always friendly and they often take the time to chat about coffee or music for that matter (the owner appears equally interested in music). Only drawback has been no wifi, otherwise I would be able to hang here and work.

While there are a handful of other snacks and beverages, coffee is the main focus, and there is plenty of merchandise on sale, including presses and other necessities. Their sandwiches are fantastic! The choices are endless and all ingredients are fresh and yummy. All sandwiches are made to order so no need to fear for a soggy bread roll. Also their coffee is of good quality and so are their salads that are popular among the hungry businessmen and -women who come here for lunch. I like to come here for a late breakfast or brunch, or to just grab a sandwich on the go when in a hurry.
