The teachers and the person in charge of enrollment were really nice but some of the employees made a bunch of insulting, derogatory comments towards me and some of the younger college students were also hostile and insulting making me need to leave the program early without a refund, losing almost $1000 for my apartment rental and needed to rebook my flight. Even though I complained and requested the director to take action, nothing was done, no followup was given to my email as I was told to send to register my complaint, and no follow up after I left Guadalajara. One employee called me a loser to another employee right in front of me, and other students were mocking my being extorted and having a child who was tortured and killed. It made learning almost impossible, and so I had to drop out and lose a bunch of money. The teacher was great, the other students were quite hostile and condescending, and the overall experience was very regrettable where I lost a lot of money, got no response to my grievances or the unprofessional behavior of the staff, and probably no accountability to the employee who insulted me and laughed at me though I was a paying customer. I attended this school for 4 weeks of Spanish language classes, 4 hours a day, Monday-Friday. My two teachers were outstanding and supportive (thanks Mirian and Daniela) and I'm truly amazed at how my Spanish improved. I think a lot depends on the work you put into the program; I did work hard. I plan on returning in about 2 months for another 4 weeks. Highly recommended! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I am owed nearly $500 from IMAC Guadalajara and I tried contacting them dozens of times via email, WhatApp, social media, etc and they always promise to return the money but never have. I registered with the intent to take the Spanish intensive course for months but then the pandemic happened and the school had to close. They promised all the students to refund the money that wasn't used for the courses but WE ALL were never refunded. While we had the courses, they were not intensive like I wanted. There are only 4 classes a week, not 5 because Wednesdays are excursion days which you have to pay for and the travel time is counted towards the course time which is terrible. I do not recommend going here. I have the recipts of all the emails and messages if you would ever like proof of how they robbed me and fellow classmates of money. read more

I was so impressed with this school I will come back again for sure. Before I arrived in GDL the staff communicated via email all the details in a concise and efficient way. I was given a written placement test online and on my first day of class I was given an oral placement test. The staff were very professional and focused. The atmosphere of the school was energgetic and happy. The building is flooded with dayligting. This was my first Spanish course in Mexico and I was very happy. read more
