I met with Iren to talk about my accounting needs. First off I am a new Amazon seller starting out and know nothing about the accounting business but I know that this is something I need to be on top of. Iren was very helpful in educating me in what it is that I need and what I don't need. I started out with the false notion that I needed a CPA and I met with a firm that was full service with all the bells and whistles and the high price tag to go along with it. After speaking to Iren she put my mind at ease about income and sales tax reporting. I will be doing my own record keeping and have Iren go over my stuff at the end of the year as she recommended. I can tell that Iren is very sincere and helpful in fact she recommended that I just come in at the end of the year since I am not really showing any profit in my business yet and do my tax reporting and income tax returns. This lady is NOT an accountant. She is a TAX PREPARER. This means that she is supposed to only help friends and family prepare their taxes. She charges higher than a CPA. Please be aware that she carries bond insurance as a tax preparer, not an ENROLLED AGENT, or a CPA. She will also charge you to correct her mistakes. I would advise anyone who needs their taxes to be prepared to keep looking. This person is not the appropriate person for that purpose. Her 5 star rating is most likely given by friends and fools. I know from personal experience. She prepared two tax returns for me, and both have mistakes. We are still trying to sort out the mess, and when I asked for her help, she required payment to correct what she had done wrong. Again, buyer beware. read more

Iren was such great help to my new business!!! She helped me figure out and set up Quickbooks, so now I know what I'm doing and where my business money is going. She is a registered QuickBooks advisor and really is a QB wiz! She helped me figure out taxes and will be helping me file annual/quarterly taxes as well. Since she's not a CPA, she doesn't charge an arm and a leg like CPAs do but can basically do the same things (well, my business is not that complicated anyways). The first two hours of the consultation was free, so that was very nice too and it was super-easy to set up a meeting with her. I'd definitely recommend her for keeping your personal or business books, payroll (YES!) and taxes.
