I was…read morewalking down the street when I noticed a little visual of beautiful crystals down a shallow staircase. I forced my Mom to go in with me. We were completely smitten with the vast selection of crystals and other stones. If you are into crystal healing or crystals as art, you're going to be in heaven. I may be so bold as to say that All Matters has the best selection for crystal healing stones I've ever seen. They're untreated, intricately labeled with instruction cards (so appreciated) and come in all forms ranging from raw chunks to tumbled stones and pieces of jewelry. I purchased a few for myself and a few as gifts and they were so nicely wrapped. They also had various salt lamps and other decorative accessories such as crystal candle votives and artwork, but I was so laser focused on the gorgeous and robust crystal selection, which contained even rare stones that are hard to find. The shop owners were very friendly and chatty - they told me they were celebrating 20+ years! They also had the most adorable senior pup, Jasper, chilling behind the counter. I'm so glad I walked downstairs to discover this absolutely wonderful spot! I will be back all the time.

In chatting with him, I learned that they have a Native American source who had her own shop for many years until her health brought her to Cleveland. She also blesses and cleanses everything before the shop gets them. It is so clear that the owners care about providing quality items that will be helpful for their customers, not just selling product. They do most of the hard work. And you kind of pick the colors and get to assist to ensure your item turns out how you'd like it. The employees were kind. You can get wine there and socialize while others are completing their items. You do have to go back a few days later to get the items so they can stay in the kiln as needed. I discovered them before I even completed my move to the area and started taking classes as soon as I arrived. You can choose between 6 week courses or short workshops. I've learned a lot and the instructors are wonderful! Plus, studies prove that creating art is good for everyone, no matter your skill level! A small yearly membership fee quickly pays for itself with discounts too. If taking classes isn't your thing, you can browse the shop for gifts by local artists or attend the yearly art fair, Art by the Falls that Valley Art Center sponsors. Or shop the gallery for works by local artists. It's a wonderful way to decorate your walls with truly unique works. Why grab a mass print at a chain store when you can buy one of a kind? And if you don't see something just right on your first visit, come back. The art in the galleries and shop changes regularly. Valley Art Center is an important and valuable resource for the community, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

He was well aware we had been standing there waiting, yet took someone else ahead of us. I told him my family had been waiting and wished to be next. I think my saying this must have annoyed him because he then took a second person ahead of us! My daughter now spoke up and said she was next. The artist ignored her and the customer spoke very rudely to her, telling her basically "too bad, go home." There was a second artist at this stand that also was very rude and unprofessional to us. We finally grew tired of waiting and tired of being treated so poorly, so we gave up on trying to create this souvenir of our first trip to Disneyland. They missed out on our money, we missed out on a memoir for our babies. All I can say is your customer service is horrible and I will tell as many people as I can of our experience with Kamans art. I will never use this company nor would I ever recommend them to others. Kamans Art, you would do well to teach your employees the "art" of customer service.
