I know how important pictures, later translated into memories, are for all of us who decide to hire a photographer, so I appreciate the many thoughts and considerations that go into the decision making process. Here is why I decided to hire Sarka not once, not twice but 6x now for both our kids and for our family. When you look at Sarka's pictures, you know she's got talent; and an incredibly impressive collection of props that make her photos even more unique and different. She's creative, knows her craft, has the right equipment, great eye for the perfect angle, and her pictures are just as perfect as they can be - colors, light, shadows, contrasts, and all the other technical details. However, one of the many reasons why her pictures are so perfect is something you can't see unless you are in the room with her watching her work. When you see Sarka work, you quickly realize that she loves what she does wholeheartedly. She is incredibly gentle, patient, loving, kind, warm and when working with her, you find yourself surrounded by aura of kindness, friendliness, and loving nature. The first time she held my little newborn, I almost melted. He was there, snuggled in her arms, and it was perfect. She was so sweet with him, I just sat and watched. It was beautiful. She has a way of relating to little kids and kids love her in return. Furthermore, when needed, Sarka is not afraid to get down and dirty. During one of our photo shoots, which was set on the beach, she was down on her back and on her tummy, knees and elbows, to ensure she gets exactly what she needed. Our at that time 2 year old wasn't very cooperative that day, so she got down on his level and took pictures from the level that worked for him, not from that which worked for her. I didn't believe that with his lack of cooperation, we would have any real "keepers", but when my husband and I looked at the pictures she sent to us, we both wondered when did she take those? :) That, in my mind, makes her a magician, too. :) We referred Sarka to many of our friends and they are all SO happy they too hired her. Most of them are now returning clients because they love her work and her for who she is and how easy she is to work with. I give her an A++++!

I admit,…read moreI was a little uncertain at first, because her gallery of shots was filled with wedding shots and children's portraits. But after we spoke on the phone, I felt confident she was up for the task. Her price was commiserate with the other estimates I got for the job. One thing that was key to me was that we would have all the digital photos, without having to pay extra for them or extra for high res. Another decision point for me was that she would digitally correct all the shots and not just 4 or 5 that I'd pick or worse, a fee to correct more than a few. To be clear, her fee included all digital shots in high and low res with all shots digitally corrected. In booking the shoot, she was flexible on picking the perfect time to try to take advantage of golden hour. She was also flexible about shooting at several locations around campus for no extra fee. I wasn't present during the shoot, but my son reported that Rebecca was great and fun and flexible. I can tell from the shots that the guys were very relaxed and had lots of fun with Rebecca. She took portraits of each guy, which the families loved and also wonderful group shots. I would hire Rebecca again in a heartbeat. She did a great job!

One of the highlights of our wedding was having Isaac as our photographer. Of course having good…read morephotographs is very important - and he took amazing photographs - but just as importantly he and his wife Nancy were just great to be around! Having Isaac as our wedding photographer felt like we had a very charming guest who just happened to be taking a lot of pictures. He made us laugh, he melted into the background when he needed to be out of the way, and he captured the essence of our wedding story. The morning after our wedding my husband and I took a walk around the lake and talked about the wedding. He told me how much he enjoyed our wedding, and how he was glad we hadn't just eloped like he kept suggesting during the excruciating planning process. He said that he was especially glad that we had hired Isaac as a photographer, that he reminded him of Roberto Benigni, and that he had brought such a positive energy to everything. We left for our honeymoon the week after the wedding, and Isaac stayed up all night to get our photos online for us. We were both taken aback at the amazing pictures he had taken of our wedding. It was really delightful to get to relive the wonderful experience through Isaacs beautiful photographs. If you are planning on hiring a photographer and you want someone who is going to go down the checklist and only get the standard wedding photographs, than Isaac might not be the right photographer for you. If you are looking for someone who is going to be delightful to have around, and will capture not only the standard group shots, but the moments you would never have thought to ask for that tell the story of your day, than we cannot recommend Isaac highly enough.

So I did some Google searching because I just felt like there had to be a photographer out there who was also a Magic Key holder and that's when I stumbled upon Vic and Sasha's website. Their Disneyland park portfolio and their knowledge of the parks and good places to take photos and being Magic Key holders really got my attention. I sent a message requesting more information and received a response by the next day, I really appreciated the turn around time and top notch communication, which unfortunately hasn't been my experience with most of our wedding vendors. After administration and planning was done, we arrived to Disneyland much later than planned due to a wreck on the freeway and we dashed up to Vic and Sasha out of breath, stressed out, and overall flustered. They were so kind and soothing and they made us feel so comfortable and put us at ease. They adapted well to the fact that we were quickly losing sunlight and ended up taking some fun night shots over at California Adventure after we were done at Disneyland. They even offered to take some more daytime ones a few weeks later since they were going to be back at the parks anyway. I also get a little self conscious and I wasn't sure how comfortable I'd be taking photos at such a crowded spot like Disneyland, but Vic and Sasha are so personable and it's easy to forget anything else going on around you when shooting with them. I highly recommend them for any photography needs and I hope to use them again in the future!
