I've been a student at this school for three years now and I'm about to graduate. Honestly, I am only writing this review because of the absolutely idiotic crap-basket that left a one-star review six years prior to now. Overall, the school is an excellent learning environment, and despite some occasionally large homework assignments, I could not ask for a better school. All of the students here were kind and accepting as soon as I transferred here, and now this school feels like home. The policies here are not super strict, the faculty members don't bully us, and no, we aren't mind-controlled robots. However, some people can count their brain cells on their fingers, so they may have you believe that kids here are traumatized by our "extensive punishments, promises to change with no actual effort" but these claims are completely invalid and fabricated by some old hag who gets upset when people don't roll out a red carpet for her. My family has been beyond blessed by Imago Dei Academy, their staff, and their commitment to raising up eloquent image bearers of Christ. Our daughter has thrived under their watchful care, learning more in four years than most students learn in ten. There are not enough words to describe how awesome Imago Dei Academy (IDA) is. The education is outstanding and the staff is friendly and loving. We are a military family and they welcomed us with open arms. My children have grown so much in their faith while we have been here as IDA is a Christ centered school. We are getting ready to move again and our hearts are broken that we have to leave this incredible place. This school is great. When our kids switched from public school to this Classical Christian school, the difference was amazing. The school focuses on building good character and the whole person along with the education. The curriculum is challenging, but extremely rewarding. Our kids are much better people due in large part to the efforts of the teachers and staff at this school. I highly recommend it if you are interested in a quality Christian education. read more

I have been associate with Imago Dei for four years. I have also taught 27 years in the public schools and five years at Legacy Christian Academy. Imago Dei is a wonderful school! The teachers strive to awaken students' curiosity and desire to learn through many hands-on lessons.They love their students and pray with them when they have a need. This school is amazing! Not only do they cater to your child where they're at academically, but the teachers truly love the children. The campus is one of the most secure in town, and my children both absolutely love learning and growing there. We had toured other schools in town, and knew within five minutes this was the school for us! Amazing find in this little community!!! read more

Their tactics include bullying children and their parents, extensive punishments, promises to change with no actual effort and will treat any child that does not follow like a robot like an absolute outcast. Just left Feast and Field Day for Imago Dei Academy! What fun learning experience for the kids. Learning about Ancient Rome with games, cellophane statue replicas and cardboard chariot races. The teachers were friendly and engaged. Great day!!! read more

Good School that allows children to excel at their own pace. Discipline is required, however we need more of that in today's age.
