As a matter of fact, my middle school guidance counselor dressed like a playboy and drove a sports car. All the girls wanted to bone him. Gross. The first two years of high school were mostly spent at mandatory pep rallies for our football team which always had a losing record. Guess we weren't peppy enough to get the job done. The last two years were spent at vocational art school where i truly flowered into the slacker i am today. I did meet my future wife there.

Kind of humorous actually. If you can put up with the 45 million Canadian geese that roam the grounds it's not half bad. But the geese do a really good job of crapping over everything including the football fields and the baseball fields. I brought my chocolate lab up here the other night just to chase those rats with wings away. The school should consider doing the same thing as the geese are doing a lot of damage to their grounds. I do regret not buying a home in this school district as it seems like a really nice school to send your kids to have a killer football program and the academics from what I understand are second to none.

Came here for a funeral of a longtime friend. As I was sitting there, so many memories of this…read morechurch came rushing in. It was my childhood church. I made my first communion here. I looked down the side of the wall and I thought, they've replaced most of the stained glass windows. They've rearranged the inside from the traditional long aisle up the middle, to a center focus altar. The pews look the same. Organized different. I've been to churches all over the world yet the one close,to home can also bring joy and smiles. Id forgot the simplistic beauty. The calm, serene, high ceilings. Beautiful sunlight peeking through the windows to the altar. Even on this somber day saying goodbye to a beautiful person, a church brings so many beautiful thoughts. As this had been her parish for years, I wondered; did I cross paths with her and her family long before we socially met? Are we all just friends, that haven't been properly introduced. Hahaha. The church is beautiful. The priest gave a wonderful service. If you're in the area, or live in the area, definitely beautiful church to join or visit!

My daughter will be a senior at AOA this fall. She started at the school…read morein 9th grade. Her growth and the support she has received as been rewarding as a parent. It was not her first, second or third choice but when other schools have some much going on (bullying, course focus, bad influences and negativity) beside education. AOA was my only choice. I put my foot down and prayed. We are now focused on college requirements and AOA support continues with Ms. Nipper. The big campus with the small-school feel has delivered. It was a big sacrifice and big investment but my daughter is my best investment.

I was speaking the truth about some issues that we care deeply about, in a respectful and open fashion, as I was taught during my time at Andrews. Now it seems if you don't toe the party line, want to have deep and productive discussions, and tell the truth, you are erased. This is not the Andrews I knew and loved. So it is with regret I feel I must post this review. I won't be sending my money or my children there.
