Every activity was carefully explained and then further reinforced before the activity began. The tutor checked in during the lesson to confirm everything was good and was also very quick to answer any questions raised. The teachers at Moorlands are very friendly and do a great job in my view when it comes to teaching. No doubt a lot of things will have changed from the time I last attended Moorlands but I have nothing but praise for the staff I came across at Moorlands. I always look back at my time at Moorlands with fond memories and my family have been associated with Moorlands for over a decade. If parents are looking for a Primary School to send their children to, I would recommend they send them to Moorlands. Because I required special needs at Primary School, I was taught outside of class as well as inside the classroom. Walking past Moorlands just makes me want to go back to Primary School again and go back to being in School.

We have a young son who will be starting school in a year, so we were planning ahead. One of the big factors for picking the house we did was it's proximity to Raddlebarn school. Once we'd removed all the faith schools from equation, Raddlebarn is in the Top 40 schools in the entire city, which was a fairly good recommendation. A better recommendation comes from the parents of the kid who go there (many of whom are either our friends, or else neighbours) and almost all of them have got nothing but good things to say about the place. The school has a lovely feel to it and I feel 100% confident in sending our boy there next year.

I was accused of being a bullying victim, a homosexual and a recent expellee. It was like the first episode of the Inbetweeners. The school seemed to always be in competition with the neighbouring comprehensive school, Tudor Grange. They had the better exam results of the two and the better reputation for behaviour and attendance. The school was a welcome relief to me; I was pushed too hard at the other school by staff and peers alike. This was a new start in a more liberal school. And I got all of my GCSE's at grades A*-C's and was very happy with Alderbrook for all their help and support at the end of my time there. These days' people say that schools should be stricter like they were in the 1950's. If an approach like this had been adopted when I was at school I would have crashed and burned. I've never liked being told what to do, so Alderbrook was great for me.
