I suffer with asthma compounded by bronchitis and Dr Pollard has worked with me to find the triggers and the treatment to keep me a well person. As long as I stick to the regimen I stay healthy. Located at Pali Momi, easy, convenient, up to date methods and treatment. But I'm glad my primary care doctor referred me here for possible sleep apnea instead of a bigger medical group or one of those online tele-sales clinics. I got the feeling that Dr. Sulieman really enjoys his job working with patients. He took an unhurried time to listen, consult, ask about concerns and my medical history, and patiently explain to me the science of sleeping, physiology, and how it relates to overall wellness and medical condition. It made me feel respected and well cared for. The office is pretty homey, lived in decor despite being in a multi-story medical building with killer views of nearby mountain cliffs. Pulse and blood pressure devices you could buy for yourself instead of a sci fi bank of blinking machines, it reminded me of going to my family doctor when I was a child. Since then I've dealt exclusively with staff and nurses, but they have been fine too. Very sweet and personable. Turns out I do have a mild case, enough to warrant one of those air pressure devices you hook up like a scuba diver all night long, which came by parcel from an affiliated supplier. Dr. Kam was the first doctor who truly took action. On my very first visit, he personally arranged for me to see a pulmonologist that same morning, without a prior appointment. That level of care and advocacy is rare. Because of Dr. Kam, my asthma is now well controlled, and my quality of life has completely changed. Honestly, I was very impressed by the care I received there and I also loved his staff! Super nice and helpful. Dr. Druger told me my asthma was fine BUT after he listened to my chest he informed me that my heartbeat was irregular! No doctor has ever caught that before in my 38 years! He had me do an EKG in his office and he printed out the pattern of my heartbeat. Then he had me jog up and down the hall in his office to see if my heartbeat went back to normal after some exercise, which it did. He assured me that it was probably fine, and it was very common, but that he wanted to be on the safe side and send me to a cardiologist (especially since I am pregnant). So he called up his cardiologist friend right then and there and arranged to get me an appointment for the next business day. It was certainly bizarre to come in for a doctor's appointment for one thing and leave with a surprise diagnosis but I'm very grateful and appreciative of how thorough Dr. Druger clearly is. I wish I had more of a reason to ever come back and see him again (but my appointment was kind of a one-off) because he was really great. I highly recommend Dr. Druger if you need a pulmonologist!

He texted me needing a lift from Pali Momi Medical Center (PMMC) to his home just off Kinau Street. PMMC opened its doors in July 1989 and has been servicing Central and West Oahu. It was originally opened as Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi until rebranded as PMMC in 2010. They are conveniently located in Aiea just down the road from Pearlridge Shopping Center. It was my first time here and was impressed with the upkeep of the grounds. Because my friend just had a procedure to the day prior, a hospital staff wheeled him via wheelchair to the pickup/drop off area. I was amazed by the hotel's attention to patient's condition, consideration and service extended. Although the pickup was a fairly quick process, the setback I encountered was leaving. There were 2 parked cars in front of me and it didn't seem the cars would be leaving soon. Furthermore, the right hand lane was too narrow where I couldn't pass them. My only option was to back up and exit via the far left lane. Thank goodness there was no car behind me otherwise I would have been in a standstill. Overall, impressed with my first visit to PMMC, with the exception of their pickup and drop off area. 2026 #60

He was responsive and very caring. My son felt safe with him. The night nurse, Cliff, was also very good too! Case managers, Beth and Tainika, kept our family up-to-date with our son's status. My son still has a slight yellow tinge to his skin, but he is stable and getting stronger thanks to the great care provided by the wonderful Pali Momi staff of doctors and nurses! Mahalo!
