I was badly injured in a car accident which required two surgeries and long rehabilitation…read more I needed an experienced attorney who could handle my case with the insurance companies. At that time, I was going through another health issue that was very serious and didn't want the added stress of this car accident. I wanted to focus on my health and not the legal matters. I chose Chris Hoffman because he had a law license to practice in both the states of Texas and Colorado (my accident was in Texas and I reside in Colorado) My own under-Insured motorist coverage was not cooperating and I believe their intention was to not cover my injuries. After rigorous negotiations, I received a substantial injury settlement. In my case, Chris had a team of lawyers who consulted on my case and this, I believe was critical to a successful outcome! Chris has many years of legal experience in personal Injury cases. This, combined with the many years of experience with his team, made all the difference! I would Highly recommend Chris Hoffman at Hoffman and Sheffield

One of the insurance companies had a reputation for never paying the maximum amount of the policy, but Chris got them to pay it all in our case. Just as important was that Chris cared about us as people, not just clients. We never felt like we were just another case. He was quick to take or return our calls and was always willing to make sure we understood what was happening and answer all of our questions. He would let us know what was going on without us having to call and ask. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris and his firm to my friends or family for any kind of personal injury case.

He then explained that according to him all services were provided and there would be no refund. Following a prescription error, I contacted Fuicelli and Lee. Matthew Durkin, of counsel at the…read morefirm took my case. Attorney Durkin demonstrated the kind of professionalism rarely found in this arena. He was matter of fact yet compassionate. No nonsense but understanding. Matthew kept his professional demeanor while doggedly pursuing just compensation for me given my injuries. This case evolved over nearly three years of give and take negotiations marked by less than good faith efforts from the other side. Throughout the process, Matthew kept me informed with any developments in real time. Matthew negotiated tirelessly and with remarkable patience to arrive at a negotiated settlement that was a number just about in the middle of what the opposition was offering and what Matthew hoped to achieve for me. The paralegal, Liz; the secretaries and other staffers with whom I interacted on the phone or at the office were attentive, cordial, pleasant and understanding throughout the nearly three year process. Matthew reduced his fee to maximize the amount I received after all obligations were fulfilled. I highly recommend Fuicelli and Lee and in particular, Matthew Durkin, as the best representatives should anyone need a fierce advocate to seek fair compensation following an injury.

No no no. Things were going well until a week before trial when Mr. Fuicelli got involved. He…read moreberated me to the point that I had to ask him to only communicate with me through a male mouthpiece. He forced me into a meager settlement although our case was rock solid and had a dream team of expert witnesses. The judge had awarded punitive damages, which I had been told was a huge win, but then that was retracted and I was told it was not a big deal. I believe he was in cahoots with the defense attorneys, he was unwilling to point out that their key piece of evidence was fraudulent even though we had certified data proving it was. I didn't even recover my expenses to be in litigation for 3 years. Winning this case- regarding the profound health impacts of toxic mold exposure- in a public forum was important not only for me and my children but for the countless people who are sick because they live in water-damaged buildings that are not properly repaired by those responsible for making the repairs. A win would have validated my knowledge- confirmed by medical reports backed by peer-reviewed research- that my children have a genetic disorder of the innate immune system that makes exposure to certain toxins extremely consequential. Due to Mr. Fuicelli'a unwillingness to put any effort into a win, my children are still suffering and will face an uphill battle as their health inevitably declines. I've observed that the people most impacted by mold exposure are the ones whose denial of the issue runs deep. It's like they are owned by the fungi. I'm certain if Mr. Fuicelli had the critical thinking skills required to make this realization, his lab results would show that his exposure is off the charts. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

In May 2024, I was staying at a hotel in South Denver, Colorado, while visiting my son from…read moreSweetwater, Texas, for his college graduation when my life was forever changed. I was the victim of a vicious dog attack by a German Shepherd and its negligent owner. The dog tore the skin from my forearm, requiring immediate reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. In the months that followed, I endured significant pain and hardship. I had to travel 30 minutes to an hour each week for specialized medical care, including ongoing wound treatment and dressing changes. The attack not only caused physical suffering, but also led to lasting financial strain. I was unable to return to work and was ultimately forced into early retirement at a reduced income. At a time when I felt overwhelmed and unsure how I could afford legal help, Dustin Gatson at Bowman Law stepped in and took my case on a contingency basis--meaning he would only be paid if we won. From the very beginning, Dustin worked tirelessly on my behalf. He kept me informed every step of the way, regularly checked in on my well-being, and never gave up on me or my case. Because of Dustin's dedication and persistence, the hotel was held accountable. The settlement he secured has helped ease my financial burden and restored a sense of hope for my future--and for humanity. I am deeply grateful for Dustin's support and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of a compassionate, committed, and effective attorney. Thank you, Dustin.
