On the morning of our Day 2 Hike, we decided that we needed some light gloves and at the last minute Gayle added a head band to our shopping list. All those purchases were well timed as our hike up to the Rigugio Bolzano (Schlernhaus) was long, gorgeous, vertically challenging, and at times chilly. The hiking poles that my friend Robyn lent Gayle also helped a lot. Our Journey on this day was well worth the struggle it took to accomplish our goal, and at the same time it's important to have the right tools to do the job. Thank You K&K Sports!
