Rip off! They charge exponentially higher prices for CPAP supplies that you can get online for MUCH less! Also, the machine we were renting was recalled pending replacement. They still wanted to charge us rent on a machine that was unusable! To avoid the charges, we returned the machine. After all, they can't charge us something that's not in our possession. When we returned it, they wanted us to sign an AMA! Why would anyone do that? It's not as if we didn't want the machine. We did! It literally was unusable! The delivery and equipment techs are nice enough, but the main office sucks, employing some of the most disorganized people I've ever come across. My mother needed a replacement wheelchair as the one she received in 2009 finally deteriorated to the point of being beyond repair. She was made to wait almost two weeks to receive her replacement because (as we came to learn) her paperwork was buried on someone's desk and not processed in a timely fashion as the person was not in the office. When she called to ask about the status of the chair, the individual she spoke to attempted to blame the entire delay on Mom's medical provider rather than take responsibility for what obviously was (largely) their own error. No apologies or offers to locate and process the paperwork on the part of the customer service representative she spoke to that day. I have to agree with Dan L. that the office staff don't seem particularly interested in going out of their way for customers as illustrated in the last paragraph. I hate leaving reviews this negative but I feel it's warranted in this case. I couldn't help but notice that I am not alone in my feelings based on the other reviews. In-Home Oxygen supplied for me a wheelchair when I was discharged from Lancaster Rehab Hospital at the end of April 2018. Medicare was to pay the rental for 13 months after which time I would own the chair. The chair is a Drive Cruiser III wheelchair. The back is so slung it forces me to slouch. The brakes were faulty from Day 1. In-Home oxygen sent a repairman to tighten the brakes because they were not holding and causing me to almost fall. Within 4 months In-Home oxygen had to replace the brakes. They still did not hold and they sent a technician to tighten them. The brakes were faulty and the technician said the left brake was stripped and could not be tightened. He said he would report this information to his superiors. The customer service representative told us that even though Medicare was renting the chair for me, we would have to pay for the brake replacement because we were abusing the left brake or going over ramps or miss-using the chair. Not only had they refused to put a better back on the chair, they called us liars when we told them abut the brakes. I am paralyzed on my left side and cannot reach or set the brake; my wife is too weak to set them tightly and can barely lift the chair; we have no ramps, not even to leave the house; and having left hemiplegia I am unable to do anything except to have someone wheel me on the chair. Deal with another company which takes responsibility for the poor equipment they charge Medicare for, and has customer service representatives that are understanding and not rude and just spout the company line. Just called this place to get a CAM walker boot. I have a prescription for a hinged one to flex my ankle but keep my forefoot straight. First off the lady was pretty adamant that what I needed was the unhinged. Unhinged happens to be the one they sell the most if and most people need. I told her "no" that I have a prescription for a "hinged" one. Didn't know she was an Orthopedic Surgeon. Then I asked if she could order one and she told me to go ahead and call other medical places instead. Very unprofessional and didn't even seem willing to put me on hold and check. She said she didn't know because they have never sold one before. So this conversation took 2 minutes and just because they haven't sold one doesn't mean they couldn't order one. Customer service is EVERYTHING now days. I would of been ok with it if she put me on hold and actually checked but it was a. Vague answer at best and you could tell she wasn't interested in putting the extra effort in and that's why she just said go ahead and call other places.
