This location is located in the large Topsy shopping center, which does make the drive-thru challenging to navigate at times as it weaves through lanes of parking spaces. I do go through the drive-thru, but I honestly recommend going in for the best and fastest experience. You truly can't beat the prices at this place. A good-sized burger is still less than $6. I fed my family of four tonight for just $25. Solid food for solid prices. The inside service is super fast. The drive-thru is also fast, but certainly slower than the drive-thru. The employees are always kind and courteous, and they keep the place super clean. I've never had a bad experience at this location with either service or food. Overall, it's an In-N-Out. This place never disappoints! We ordered a double double, a cheese burger, and a hamburger. All with sautéed onions and the special sauce. Delicious as always even though the burgers are well done! This time around the drive through line was not as long. We got our food in around 15 minutes. The drive through line crosses a two way lane. Which is a nuisance when there's a lot of oncoming traffic. You have to wait and leave through crossing through the In-N-Out drive-through lane. Always delicious. But my concern is for the worker outside. I believe her name is Angelica. It's 87* outside and I'm hoping they are switching out workers. Although there is an umbrella, she is still directly in the sun. I asked her how she was doing and told her my concerns about her being in the sun for too long. She was so sweet and said she was okay, and that the others didn't want to be in the sun. I told her that her health should come first. For so much hype, we were disappointed with the food. The experience (service/environment) was fine, but that's not why you get fast food... we got Chocolate shakes and fries. The "shakes" were basically soft serve in a cup, thick and somehow not all that cold. For a hot summer's day, not at all what we wanted. And the fries were not flavorful or a good texture. They were like undercooked and overcooked at the same time? This was made worse by the fact that we could not find any condiments for them before going back to our car, and it was too busy to ask an associate for assistance. We headed to Carson to go to the movies but wanted a quick place to have lunch. We came in, rather than do the drive through which was packed. There was a short line inside. I placed my order. The guy at the counter was a bit monotone, not very welcoming which it always seems they have perkier people taking orders. No worries for me. Another person jumped on the line next to him and she asked the person she was getting an order from if they wanted onions. It dawned on me my guy never asked so when he was reading back the ordered I mentioned I wanted onions on 3 of them. We got our food in about 10 minutes. The place was a little dirty. It was packed but it didn't seem like they had anyone out wiping tables or cleaning up a bit. Our burgers and fries were great. Our protein style burger had a great lettuce wrap. All in all we love coming to In N Out even though prices have increased through out the years, it is still a bargain for what you get. One thing I have noticed is all their employees are very young. I never see anyone older than maybe 30ish. I know they pay better than most fast food places. I just hope they are not discriminating from the older population. This location is clean, offers top notch service, and food that is consistent with 100's of I-N-O locations. Of course it is busy, the drive-thru is often wrapped around the parking lot, and the atmosphere is upbeat.
