I had a situation where i used had a painter change the colors of the walls and needed to replace the electric recepticles from brown to white. The painter offered to do this but failed miserably - to the point several light switches didn't work. In Phaze Electric to the rescue, right? I spoke to the gentleman over the phone and agreed to have an apprentice and his mentor come by to fix everything for something like $75/hour with a 3 hour minimum. One specific item was that i had a light switch at the top and bottom of the stairs control the same lights - so i needed a different type of light switch (Dual pole). I'll spare the drama and just say that after 3 hours nothing was fixed and i asked them to leave. I believe i settled for paying them $150 but feel like i was doing that out of fairness - i shouldn't have had to endure that experience. I was looking to have a Ring Floodlight camera installed. In Phaze Electric was recommended to me by an ex-handyman. They did not dissapoint. From the initial quote to the final install, they were professional. It started with updates on arrival via text which is always nice. Communication for me is one of the keys to great customer service. In fact I got text each step of the way. One saying the first and last name of the person who would be coming for the quote and when. Then on they day of, saying when they would arrive. Tony was the person who came out for the quote. The quote provided was lower than a previous electrician that we decided not to go with. Tony explained everything that was to be done. They would tap an existing outlet inside the house on the same wall. The quote he gave me was immediately sent to my phone via text and in email. Nice. When I called for the quote, they were able to schedule a time the next day for the install (if I accepted) as we wouldn't be in town after the weekend. Since they were able to accommodate my request for the install the same week and the quote was very reasonable, I went ahead and scheduled the install. That night I got a text with the name of the electrician and when they would arrive. The following day, I got a text saying they could come early, if that was okay. Really, who does that? Sure. Justin came out and performed the install. He mounted the floodlight camera flush to the wall (stucco/cinder block). This means the electrical outlet box is flush in the stucco, not sticking out. Justin did an excellent job. Cleaned everything up afterwards and it was like he wasn't even there. I would absolutely have them do more work in the future if needed. Also bought from an up-sell that was needed: - Premium Surge Protector $425.00 120/240 Volt single phase surge protector. Product came with a lifetime product warranty and a connected equipment warranty up to $100,000 for such connected equipment as refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, freezers, furnaces, air conditioner/handler systems and well pumps. Keylin Strait was my Electrical Service Consultant and arrived on-time, was very courteous, and practiced social distancing/mask wearing during pandemic. Keylin repaired breaker box issue that was mentioned in new home inspection report and added a surge protector box to outside panel as well. I used this company in 2014 to install some lights in the bonus room. Everything was done in an excellent way. Unfortunately one of the metal hooks that was used in the ceiling to hold the pool light in placer, broke and the pool light fell down, no damage fortunately because of the electric wire held it just above the pool table. I called them and asked them if they could fix this and install better more trustworthy hooks. They came out a few days later and only charged me a nominal fee for the fix. I hired In Phaze to replace a beaker for my pool heater. They did the job but the heater repeatedly shut off until I flipped the breaker. Had the same tech back for another job and he took a look at the breaker. He said they would need to put a new breaker in but I would have to pay for the replacement even though the correct one wasn't put in the first time. I just had a pool heater tech out and he tested the electrical and the breaker they put in isn't working. I think it's bad business to make customers pay for the company's mistake. read more

I chose to give this company five stars based on my experience. Three stars would be exactly what I expected, but between the service and honoring the original price they gave me how could I not give them five stars. We originally had them over to rewire two outlets in our bathroom as well as add a ceiling box for a ceiling fan and rewire and hang three other ceiling fans with double switches in the bedrooms. They were less than half of the other quotes that we got. The electricians William H and Keith S, were polite and worked hard even though it took longer than what they thought due to some complexities they were not expecting. I hired In Phaze Electric to perform rewiring related to a light kitchen remodel and had a 3-5pm visit window. The technician sent a text message that he was running a few hours early, so I went home early to meet him at 1pm. He never showed, never called, and I later found out that he left a card on the neighbor's door instead of mine. At 2:30pm we called In Phaze to see what was going on, and they told me that the tech should arrive around 3pm. At 4:30, we called In Phaze again, and Erin picked up the phone. She was completely rude and unprofessional and did not offer to remedy the situation at all. She said the tech tried to call (he never called) and said it wasn't her problem - What? She said the office closed at 5 and would be closed on the weekends, and made NO attempt to remedy the situation or apologize. I wasted a full day of my life waiting around for an electrician and got attitude from Erin instead of any semblance of customer service. I would not recommend them to switch a lightbulb, much less do substantive work. Highly unprofessional, rude, and a total waste of my time. I partner with contractors and trades all the time and have never had such an unfortunate experience as I did with Erin and In Phaze Electric. read more
