Extremely rude and unprofessional. When they make a mistake, they act as if you have no right to be even a little upset or concerned about it, I had already sold 200 books (out of 1000) when we discovered that there were pages both missing and duplicated in some of the books... we had no way of knowing how many were sold that way because they were already gone of course. When I came to point this out to them 4 months after the job was printed, they just laughed, like it was real funny. This was a printing job that cost me over $6000. They literally did not care. I could not make them understand or even accept what a major inconvenience this was. They literally acted like I was a nuisance, bothering them. UPDATE: Despite date here, I first wrote this review in 2013 and as vowed, I never went back. I just switched to Copies Plus across the street and stayed there. So In Print/Dave may not be like this now (but it sure sounds like it from some of these newer reviews). So I'll leave it up because I've never been treated so badly at any other business as I was at In Print. Here's that review: "Talk about Jekyl and Hyde. I thought this place was great when I just did ordinary photocopying. Then I needed digital copies instead of printouts. They charged a lot (over $100) but it was worth it to me until I got home to open the CD and saw the quality. Pages were upside down, cut-off, missed or repeated. When I went back, the owner re-did it, grumbling. I thanked him then found when I got home it was still messed up. When I returned, the owner not only screamed, he threw things (!) saying this kind of work was difficult to do. He refused to refund, saying it was as good as it could be. Went in at 8:55pm to photocopy or print 10 pages, the alleged owner says we aren't doing it. I let him know it's 10 copies and says nope we started another job for a customer we don't allow people to print after 8:30pm. I questioned why it says he is open until 9pm when you supposedly can't print he said it's for customer pick up only. I asked again if he could please allow me to print of copy because I regrettably forgot and need it for 6am tomorrow. His colleagues or the actual owner says it's 9pm now, I tell him because this person is raising his voice at me. He continues to raise his voice saying "I'm not screaming". Then he agreed to let me print and I walk towards the computer, he changed his mind and starts yelling get out of here! I told him I'm going to review his business and he goes on about all the properties he owns. No sure why that's relevant. If you want to be treated poorly go here. read more

I work for a realtor who has used In Print for over a year now for all of our marketing materials - feature sheets, just listed cards, just sold cards, business cards, presentation folders, stationery, etc. Dave is very responsive and the materials that they produce are of the finest quality, completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I have got the most unexpected deal at this place, calling at 11PM. I was organizing a competitions event and required to print over 40 copies of a case study (about 17 pages each). I called shoppers drug mart and they charged 10cent per sheet, no discount, bad customer service. Then I called In Print and they say it was about 5 cent per copy. So I drove there from Mt. Pleasant area and after copying (along with a few other sheets), it totalled $21 (including tax). If I did it at shoppers drug mart, it would've cost me over $65! The gentleman there was also very helpful and helped me print the sets together. I asked to use their electric stapler and everything was completed way faster than I had imaged. Whether your job is big or small, you need it at 4am or at 10pm, you can get it done at Imprint. And yes, they really are open 24 hours, I've tested this on several occasions :) Dave is always available (some times a little sleepy) but he knows what he's going, he get's it done and he's happy to make suggestions if you're not sure what to do. read more

This review based on their system of computer rental, a stupid, stupid system. Instead of the good old days where they signed you in with a password, now you stick in your credit card in this machine by the computer: twice It didn't read my card properly, so moved me twice, so 2 trips to Customer Service. Now u hv to prepay how much time you need to use/buy, which sucks---u end up having a credit on this 'gift card'. Another negative: these computers slow as heck, good thing not being charged $0.19/min. Negative: tried to print, takes forever if, as my luck would hv it, 3 others were printing. Asked (CS another trip) if another printer avail, but no--of course not. CS in general sucked because if I'm having this many problems, quit running back behind your counter after dealing with me! And then he has the nerve to tell me they're changing new computers/system(?)in 2 days?? Obviously I was in a jam & needed something to be printed asap for work but I'm sure their photocopying services are fine as vie used them in the past. Beware of these guys... I can only speak to their self-print services, so please accept my 1-star review in regards to that only. Two out of the last three times I've used their self-printing machines at this shop their computers have put viruses on my USB, deleting my files. They have one computer that they seem to use to manage their email orders, and I used that one, which didn't give me a virus. When I went in for my third print job in 7 days, I asked to use that one again, and the lady said I couldn't, so she told me to use the one next to it. I plug in my USB and click on the file folder containing my 50 or so files I needed to print, and the entire folder disappeared - completely deleted from my USB. Thinking it was a mistake, I clicked on a different folder...yup that one disappeared too. I told her about the problem, and she did not apologize, or seem to even care. The other two computers (on the east side of the shop) have had virus warning pop-ups on them for the last few times I've been in there - one of these computers gave my USB it's first virus. So printer beware...make sure you back up your files at home before loading them onto your USB and bringing it here. Considering how many print shops are on this block, I would recommend trying someone else, who actually maintains their computers and gives two hoots about inconveniencing their customers. read more

Have been here several of times because of their quick turnover time. However, there's usually a colour matching issues. This time it was printed at a different shop and not delivered back to the store where it was to be picked up. When I asked if there was anything additionally he could do for me (besides giving me the two options of either waiting at the store while he picked up the print, or for me to bike over to the shop to meet him there to pick it up) he just said "well. it was printed wasn't it?" - no apology, no nothing. read more

Are you joking me!! Anyone who gave these guys 5 stars are buddies or full of poop. This business sucks...I am being so honest-I rarely ever talk this bad about a business. It really isn't thier bad quality or late deadlines that blows me away...it was thier disgraceful customer service! I have been there a few times and figured I would give them a couple of more chances -we all have bad days- everytime I got real hasty responses and no real respect....even when they knew I was a returning customer. I even have one of them turn his back on me when I was talking to him...I was like really?? Another time, they told me to call them back on thier cell and I did and he was all pissed off I called him...really?? DONT GO HERE- really. I have been going to InPrint for over five years now for small jobs. I used to be a Kinko's customer and have tried other places as well including the business next door to InPrint. A lot of the reviews here seem highly biased so I hope this helps. If you want the cheapest price, InPrint is the most economical I have found in Vancouver. I haven't priced every printer but I have done enough homework and their prices are pretty unbeatable. If you want service, you're not going to get Kinko's level of service. But that's what you're paying 2x to 3x for at Kinko's and frankly, they still suck a lot of the time. I've waited 20+ minutes for service there. That said, if you are clear with what you want from InPrint and you give them a deadline that they commit to, they always do the job right and on time. If you want quality, you're not going to get Hemlock level of quality. InPrint is great for some print jobs. If you need very high quality paper, finish or process, look for a specialty printer and be prepared to pay accordingly. I use Hemlock for our high-end jobs. However, for the average job, like flyers, some business cards etc., I have always received the level of quality that I expected - in line with Kinko's. Dave, the owner and who I always deal with, is a very accommodating guy, I've never had a job be late past the agreed upon time and I can't recall ever being dissatisfied with the quality of the job. You certainly get more value than what you pay for. I didn't give them 5 stars because it is a mom-and-pop that doesn't offer professional-level service, but I personally enjoy supporting local, small business more than a US-based chain like Kinko's. read more

Dave works his butt off. I've been printing here for more than a decade and I can't say enough good things about Dave and the shop. Back in the day Dave would stay open 24/7 and snooze behind the counter just to be there when you need him! I think I can only remember one time when I went in and Dave wasn't there. Their prices are consistently significantly cheaper than any of the other print shops I've called. The paper & print quality are high. The owner is always happy to help me -- I usually don't even have to ask. He notices I am trying to figure out something and comes over to assist. For simple jobs, like getting hundreds or thousands of ads or leaflets printed, folded and cut these guys are great. But beware large format printing (Last night I tried to get one that was 47x59 approx) done by anyone other than the owner Dave. I had a project due now for a class at Emily Carr and I dropped it off last night. Some other guy printed it - and I came back at midnight to check on it and there were awful streaks on it. The guy tried to say it was in the photo but I'd already printed it to 13x19 and 9x12 earlier that day on my Epson at home no problem. He then said the image might be too big and dark so I lightened it and reduced the size by 10" all round. I also left them with my number and told them to call me if any problems came up. I came just now to get it and there was no reprint. Just the faulty one. I asked where the other one was and they said it was printing too light and didnt look right. But they didn't have it there for me to judge. Just the mistake one. And Dave wasn't in. The guy there, different from the guy last night had no other answer and wasn't willing to offer another print or refund. And he had no reason for why no one had called me. I'm not happy at all. I should have sent it to ABC. I'd have paid double but at least I'd have something to hand in. I'm going to get docked for these untrained guys's mistakes. It's clear the help the owner has hired don't know how to print - and the current computers clearly aren't calibrated to their large format printer. It's sad as last spring I had a number of large format prints done by Dave without any problems. I'm not looking for the moon here - not ABC quality but the images which were HDRs built from three or four 24MP full frame raw files - should have printed without problem. Now I'm going to have to ask to project my work as I have nothing printed. I'll go back for simple jobs but I'm not going to trust large format prints with them anymore, as they arent reliable or trustworthy due to the fact these guys aren't trained and the current computers aren't calibrated to their large format printer so that what you see on screen will be relatively close to what gets printed. I give InPrint 1 star for staff that don't know how to use the large format printer; 3 stars for all the other things I've had done there without any problems and 5 stars for work done by Dave who might be stretched too thin now that they have multiple locations: train your staff Dave!!! read more

As have been going here for over a decade, traveling in from White Rock I have entrusted Dave and staff with everything from important family reunion memories, calendars, & school yearbooks to the entire gamut of work related printing solutions, training manuals, blueprints, signage, all colour sales and marketing materials. I have contract locations throughout the Fraser valley, and it is still better value to email the file and layout to Inprint and pickup. Last night we had a last minute theatre program emergency job. In less than 10 minutes from entering the front door I left with 50 6page full colour booklets, stapled...Order 50 burgers from Mc Donalds or 5O large coffees from Tim's with no notice...None of them can compete with Inprint... read more

I had a very important fax to send to Prime Minister Trudeau and Dave and Fanny (Yan) got on it right away on Dec. 6th but it didn't work. They had to try five times because they got a message that the line was busy or the number didn't work, and this is the Prime Minister's fax machine. The next day they got it through and only charged me $3.50 for two pages. I have been going to InPrint Graphics for ten years and Dave and Joginder have become more reliable friends than my real friends. I've been using this print shop for about 6 years! Dave the owner is the hardest working man I've ever met. The print quality is great and the service is superb. This is the place I go when I need to get something done right and fast. Because Dave is always there, there's accountability for when and how the jobs are done (unlike Kinkos or Staples where you'd be lucky if you get the same employee twice). There were times in the past when the service was not so great. But in the last 2 years, I can say that service has improved by 10 folds! I email my print jobs over and get an email back when it's done. Love this place! read more

Disgusting behavior by Dave. Avoid this store! I e-mailed In Print Graphics & Copying with a copy of my business card that I needed to get printed along with some details of my order. Dave replied with a short e-mail that read "please come to store rgds dave". When I arrived at the store and asked to speak to him, he said that I couldn't just show up unannounced at the store and that I needed to come by appointment. Politely, I told Dave that he should have informed me that in his e-mail reply to me. Both without an apology and in rage, Dave immediately pointed his finger at me and told me to leave his store. He said "I'm a millionaire and don't need your business". I was in shock, as I did not once raise my voice or get mad. This is not proper customer service. My husband had a rush job that had to happen today under a very tight deadline. We were frantic trying to find a place that could do the job. Couldn't even get Staples to answer the phone--MEH! Dave at In Print Graphics was quick to assure us he could do the job. We emailed the file to him at the pre-arranged time and by the time we drove to In Print he'd run the job, collated and stapled it , and boxed it. Terrible. Avoid this store. They said the prepaid printing job would be available on Saturday. I advised I would come the following Monday. When I came to pick it up, it was not ready as their staff did not show up to do the printing. When I questioned why they did not inform me of this, therefore avoiding an unnecessary trip, they screamed and tried to get more money!!!!! Very displeased. I called for a quote which I found to be the best price I could find, but not an unheard of deal. But, I needed to create the files for printing. By the time they were done, it was Saturday. When I called back and sent in all my information and files, they told me that they couldn't provide me the quote price because the size was too large, even though I had explicitly told them the size that I needed both when I got the quote as well as when I called back in to place the order. They requoted me at nearly double the original price. I needed this printing done for Sunday, but now most printers are closed, so I'm am stuck with nothing. Terrible terrible experience. read more
