If you need any kind of rug, carpet, upholstery etc. cleaned, do yourself a favor and call these folks. They are the very very very best. They've been to our place twice. First time was to do a thorough cleaning of our upstairs, which is all light wool carpet and was a heavy-duty task. Second time was an emergency call for our large downstairs rug, which had suffered an unfortunate doggie accident (massive one, so bad) earlier that morning - also not easy. I'll spare you the before picture of the second incident, but look at the after pic! This oriental rug is thick and old and all wool fibers etc., and now it looks gorgeous and new. Brandon has been our guy both times, and he is always super efficient and meticulous. He takes pictures and sends you a video of the aftermath - what actually came out of your said carpet - and that's a sight you don't always want to see, but I do appreciate the transparency. Their costs are really quite reasonable, especially given the quality of work. The fact that they're a local, family-owned business is just another huge plus. These guys used a machine that churned out dirty water, which they then dumped into my sink. The sink backed up. Now I can't use the sink and had to call an emergency plumber. Every other carpet cleaner I have used had machines that didn't require the dumping of any water. No one has ever dumped dirty water in my sink. After he dumped all the water in the sink and the sink flooded, the guy told me he usually dumps dirty water in the toilet. Before he had said the garbage disposal in the sink or the ground. Had their father not told me it was a family business, I would have thought these were inexperienced college kids who woke up one day and decided they could make some extra money cleaning carpets. Also, they cost double what every other carpet cleaner has charged. Update: hours after they left, - the entire sink overflowed and flooded my kitchen and dining area. The emergency plumber had Update: following morning - carpet has to be pulled up and padding replaced because of the flood. Everything in the surrounding areas was ruined. read more
