I had reached out to a number of local "handymen" who either never got back to me, or declined entirely. You can imagine how happy I was when Interior Finishes said they could do it the same day as the cabinets. I'm absolutely THRILLED with the final result! While I met with Phil at the house to do the measurements I find out he's the real deal General Contractor so I'm like coolness can you tear down this wall and gut the bathroom and the list kept going, his answer to all was yes! Ok I'm from the Silicon Valley and work in commercial construction and never once have a gotten the "this guy is bullshitting or shady" vibe. They are simply a LEGIT one stop shop for all your renovation needs and above all their prices are cheaper than the box stores in the long run and everything is custom for you. They are patient and flexible with me while I change my mind a couple times (obviously my indecision's are before it's manufactured) and they find specific things I have my heart set on, like a "fancy" sink lol. We started by going to Lowes and Home Depot for our quest for new base. OMG for an eight foot piece (of a some designs we liked) they wanted between $17-$25 per piece. (With what we need it would take 35 pieces. So at $17/per piece it would be $595 and at $25/per piece it would be $875. OUCH! ...and this is before any of it is painted or installed. Enter Creative Door & Moulding. We walked into their front office and then were shown into their warehouse/showroom. We were shown a display cabinet with every kind of baseboard, crown moulding, chair rail, and even doors that were available. We landed on two different styles that are already primed and ready to be painted. We went back to the front office to have the styles quoted out. We were told that all of their base comes in 16' sections not 8' (bonus) and then he looked up how much it would be for 18 pieces. (Brace Yourself...) $252 w/tax um...REALLY??!! Where do I sign? We are getting the carpet installed first, but we will be purchasing the base from them and they even deliver to you front door. Save yourself over 50% from the big box store an check out another local business.

They were not clear with how our counter would be installed. It was badly cut and badly arranged…read more The son Ryan did a poor job measuring our area for the counter and he never informed us we could use their software to correctly arrange our slabs for our kitchen counter and backsplash so that they would match and look seamless. The slabs do not match and have a poor continuity. One of the seams between the slabs, because of the poor cuts/measurements, is large enough to fit a coin between the two slabs. This particular seam is the backsplash behind my stove so not easily hidden. Their solution, rather than using a new slab, was to just add extra caulk. When we expressed our concerns to the father owner Steve, his response was to tell us they had been in business for years and did the Governor's house years ago. Perhaps they would have done a good job for us if I was the Governor, but instead they did less than adequate work. Also, they did not put the hours for the sink faucets in the place where we wanted them. They did not ask for instruction on where to place the holes, even though we were in the house when they were making them. I had to have them come to our house several times to correctly caulk the seams. The technician did a sort of ok job. But the counters were never installed to our satisfaction. When we voiced our concerns Steve and Ryan simply dismissed us and our concerns. My husban
