    Mini Empanadas
    Esther C.

Inca Paisa is a solid spot for Peruvian food with great ambiance and service. We ordered mini chicken empanadas, mixed ceviche, chaufa and rotisserie chicken with lots of green sauce on the side of course. Everything was delicious, we had no complaints. The restaurant can get a little loud if you come during prime lunch/dinner time. I ordered a drink that they ran out of but forgot to take it off the bill, I didn't catch it until after I had paid but the servers were friendly and willing to correct it right away. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot and would come back! IG: _acquired.taste

    Ceviche Mixto & Chicken

Reservations are a must - walk in wait times are easily over an hour. Inca Paisa is definitely catered more towards a younger crowd - there's a bar, DJ, and live music, but it's LOUD. It was quite difficult to hear our waitress, and it was impossible for us to talk to each other during dinner. The ceviche was probably my favorite dish of the night. We ordered the Ceviche Mixto; it was well seasoned, balanced, and had a good variety of seafood. The other dishes (lomo saltado, super picada, chicken, and jalea peruana) were good, not exceptional. The portions look generous, but a lot of it is buried under a mountain of yuca. Once we saw two more giant speakers brought in, we asked for the check. It was already incredibly loud inside with just ONE.

I was walking by and saw a sign outside Inca Paisa advertising a lunch special for $14. It included a choice of protein, soup of the day, salad, rice, and a corn cake. For that price, I figured I'd give it a shot--honestly not expecting too much. But wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was way bigger than I imagined. It came with the beef rib, and they brought out three large pieces that were tender and full of flavor. Along with it came a generous container of soup with corn and potato--the broth was so rich and comforting, I could've had that on its own as a full meal. The plate also came with rice, a fresh little salad, and a piece of cornbread to round it out. All of that for $15 (after tax) felt like such a steal. The food was tasty, filling, and definitely worth it. I honestly didn't expect the quality or the portion size to be this good for a lunch special. I'd definitely come back again for this deal--it feels like you're getting a home-cooked meal at a super fair price.

I went for dinner on a Monday. The ambiance was great, it was pretty busy for being a Monday with trending music in the background not very loud enough to have a conversation. We ordered the passion fruit sangria which was tasty, ceviche de cameron as an appetizer and for dinner I had the lomo saltado. The ceviche was amazing and a very nice size portion enough for three people. The lomo saltado was also good, I'm looking forward to going back

This was the first time dinning here with the family. Upon entrance, we noticed how beautiful the ambiance was. The restaurant is very well decorated. There was a DJ there and the music was good. It wasn't too loud and he even adapted and played happy birthday music when they were bringing out cake and singing for patrons celebrating their birthdays. The service was good. And the food was delicious.

Happy Birthday to my brother! My sister-in-law recommended Inca Paisa and made a reservation tonight to celebrate with family and friends. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. Complimentary Plantain Chips - The plantain chips were crunchy and yummy. The dipping sauce added a spicy kick. Food *sharing is caring* Calamares Fritos - The fried calamari and yuca frita were crispy and tasty. Chicharrón de Cerdo con Arepa Empanadas - The empanadas were delicious, with beef or chicken stuffed inside corn patties. Chicken Special Combo Combo 3 Whole Rotisserie Chicken + Avocado Salad + Peruvian Fried Rice + Hotdog Fries The rotisserie chicken was flavorful and finger-licking goodness. Aguacate De Camaron / Shrimp Stuffed Avocado

Friday night around 9pm, restaurant was packed. Atmosphere was fun with live music and playlist when on break. Just a bit loud, very hard to hear each other. We had the Shrimp Stuffed Avocado which was ok, could use a little salt on the avocado and some more plantain chips. The mini beef empanadas were good. For dinner we had the Bandeja Paisa which was decent, middle of the road compared to other Colombian spots. Grilled Skirt Steak was ok, a thick cut of meat and was over tenderized. Beans were cold and undercooked, when asked them to heat it, came back only slightly warm. The Crispy breaded pork tenderloin was our least favorite, it was overcooked and dry. It was lacking something, needed some kind of sauce, we used the green sauce to make it more palatable. Our waiter was very friendly, although busy, he was attentive.

I have visited this restaurant several times since it's the only Colombian/Peruvian restaurant in the area. The place has a very pretty decor and great happy hour from 1-6pm. The service has always been excellent and everyone that works there it's very attentive. I'm a Colombian native so I'm very picky with my Colombian food. The food here it's great but not amazing.

I was so hype to go with my mom to celebrate her birthday. Restaurant is well decorated and clean. They have happy hour until 7 pm. Me and my friends ordered margaritas. They were tasty but u cannot taste any liquor in them, my friend had a few and did not compare to just having one from other places. So probably they are weak because of happy hour price. My mom had red wine, it was ok. They are not so many options to share in the appetizers. I did ordered the causa con pollo because the waitress was kind of rushing the order. the flavor was good and well presented. They have a lot of items in the menu to choose. Been a colombian peruvian fusion I tried a mix ceviche. It look really nice but when it came to taste and how the fish was prepared it really mess up my taste for it. barely had any lemon juice and most of the fish was very chewy and hard. I had ceviches in many places and I have never left half of it in the plate. My mom ordered a chicken cutlet with champions sauce .The taste was good but the chicken was hard because I tried it too. My friend is vegan so she only had 2 menu options . She actually said her rice was not well cooked. The worst part there so many servers but their main objective was gossiping and not attending tables. I had to continuously look for the one assigned to the table. Also my moms birthday not even acknowledge after we had said it at the beginning. Another thing we noticed. No water is served unless u ask. Most of the places I been to,they ask or the just put it on the table. The waitress said that u have to ask for it. As a latin customer I was very disappointed to not have a tasty ceviche.

    Jalea - Huge Portion!

My family are Peruvian food fans. We usually do a big group dinner at Pio Pio every once in a while so seeing an option in NE Queens it was something they were into checking out. We had a fantastic waitress in Luisa who helped navigate the menu and adjust our order when I was about to order way too much food - her recommendations were spot on. Jalea - I almost ordered 2 of these based on the size of the dish I am used to Pio Pio serving. This had to be double the size of theirs with a large variety of fish, shrimp, calamari on a bed of yuca. Everything was fresh, but it could have used a hit of lime or citrus that I will ask for next time. Super Picada De Carnes - basically a large platter of steak, chicken, pork topped with tomato and served with chimichurri sauce. This is not something we usually ordered before, but it was a welcome change. The meats are all well done. Incidentally both platters say "for 2" on the menu - You would be hard pressed to see 2 people finish one of these on the own. They are huge. Rotisserie Chicken - The chicken is good and flavorful. Some sections were a little more well done than I would have liked, but all good. I went against Luisa's recommendation and ordered 2 of these and had 1 left over haha. Arroz Chaufa - Peruvian Fried Rice came as part of combo and it was very good. The salchipapa (hot dog and fries combo), avocado salad along with their sauces - white, pink and green were all tasty and added much to all the dishes. The red sangria is better than the passion fruit, but neither are heavy hitters. Not much alcohol in these and they do not have any fruit pieces (note: I saw on IG they add fruit to the glass - perhaps when you order an individual glass?) which is disappointing. These would do better with a some brandy for some kick. Inca Paisa is good for a group where you will get a lot of food for your money. The atmosphere is festive with the friendly helpful staff. Also double check your reservation - although our large group didn't have an issue I don't think they actually had our Yelp Reservation down even after I called the day before to confirm.

POV - vegan in a nonvegan family. Fun spot with great energy and really solid food--even with very limited (two) vegan options, left happy and full. Got the avocado salad and a vegan Peruvian fried rice. Fresh and flavorful, and the fried rice had the option of adding an egg for the vegetarians. I was hoping for a little more heat, but they kept bringing something creamy and probably not vegan when we requested hot sauce. The vibe here is loud and lively! There were a few birthday celebrations going on while we ate, complete with sparkly candles and loud, joyful singing from the staff--it was fun just to be part of the atmosphere. The decor is colorful and funky, and the overall energy is super welcoming. There's also a bar with a nice selection. I didn't check about vegan drink options, but I imagine there's something for everyone--worth asking next time! Not a go-to vegan destination, but a great place to enjoy good food and good vibes with a mixed group. I'd happily come back (and maybe sneak some hot sauce in.)

Good food with good friends! Inca Paisa comes with nodes of Columbian and Peruvian cuisine that blend perfectly together. Upon each table is a bottle of the Inca Paisa wine. I have yet to have this wine because the drinks are so yummy, but it's worth mentioning being that it sets the vibe for when you come here. The vibes are fun and food is GOOD! I came here with five other friends and Thank God I came with this group, because they came to eat! We started with some apps like ceviche and Papa en salsa Huancaina. That potato in the sauce was delish but the ceviche was everything. I could have licked the bowl. Our bread came out with the apps which had me dipping bread in the ceviche lime juice it was that good. The main event was a spectacle as we ordered Arroz con Pollo Colombian Style, Arroz Chaufa with steak (Peruvian style), Jalea Peruana (and insane amount of fried seafood), and a platter with Chicharrón. Each dish was just as delish as the next and we ate until we all felt like we could be rolled out of the restaurant. Like I said this place is a vibe, so much of a vibe that our server was having way to much fun and kept forgetting about us. He was very sweet but it was a little tough grabbing another round of drinks, sauces and other things. This will definitely not stop me from coming back as it's a great neighborhood spot with amazing food! Next time, I will have them crack open that bottle of wine. Cheers!
