Was about to leave to pickup an hour drive and someone wants to buy my car minus the exhaust. Well they didn't like that then told me they'd just sold rear drive line to someone else which was the main purchase from them! I'm extremely disappointed and surprised (not surprised with market place) but the fact the main purchase and then response from them when they still had it all listed for sale.

From tiny watch batteries to the larger ones like for cars, basically for any product that requires a bettery they've got it, and if it's not in stock they can do a search and order it in. If you're not too fussed about the brand of battery you use and are happy for a generic one, not only will you save money but chances are they will have it in stock. I used to put a citronella collar on my noisy, barky dog at night and that took a 6V 2CR-1/3 battery, not what you'd call your standard, off the shelf supermarket brand. So besides going to the veterinarian to get one at double the price, Battery World had it and they say it's a common one for them to stock as there's a demand. I have also purchased camera batteries, torch batteries and normal AA and AAA batteries from this branch. The guys behind the counter there are always helpful and very friendly, plus they can record your purchases, so next time you don't need to take in the old battery or packet to show them. Also their website is a great help as you can do a battery search yourself to see if they've got it in stock and at which store.

The first time was for a service and a rather urgent repair, this happened to be in the middle of the Christmas/New Years madness with public holidays all over the place. Speaking to them over the phone, they found a time to squeeze me in and, when the repairs ended up taking a bit longer than expected, they kept the shop open for me so I could pick it up after work and not have to wait until after the long weekend. Both times that my car has been in the shop they have called me during the day to keep me updated on everything that's going on. The second time my car needed a repair it was for a cracked exhaust and not only did they diagnose this while I was still there, but actually lifted the car up to show me exactly what had happened and how it would be fixed. I've never felt like I was being taken for a ride or left out of the loop and everyone I've spoken to here has been such a pleasure to deal with. Most definitely recommend it.

I had a look online into what I should have been paying the amount Ultra Tune quoted was almost 100% above the price Ford were offering as a fixed price quote. I figured if they were as good as the review perhaps it would be worth it. So I went ahead, got a loan car which is where the 2 stars come from. A few hours after dropping in my car I got a call several extra things all costing over a hundred so now my service was getting quite unreasonable in price. Some of the items should have been covered by the extra warranty I had on my car, Ultra Tune supposedly made a call but the information they came back wasn't even close to my warranty. I told them not to do any of the extra work, got my car back, sent my car to Ford for the next service everything fixed as expected.

I phoned them at 8am and was back home, tyres fitted, 30 mins later. When I rang they informed but not pushy, I told the man exactly what I wanted and was given a price that was good. He didn't try and sell me anything else or extras which I liked. When I got there they were friendly and my car was taken straight away while I waited in the seated area. The job was done quickly as promised and I left pleased! This place was cheaper then the big boys, not by a lot of $$ but enough to make me go back there again!

In fact they used to make their own from scratch, but now they just sell other brands. 12 years ago, these guys sold me two six volt batteries they built themselves for an Austin Healey. I've just sold the car, with the same batteries still working well. Alas, my new car needs a new battery. The best retail quote I could get in town - $212. Gold Star's price for the same quality and capacity of battery - $160.
