I feel this should be posted to warn anyone who may be concerned for a loved one. A few years ago someone close to me was prescribed opiates for chronic pain issues. He ended up developing a dependency and ended up in a detox facility. I was surprised that the doctors in this practice felt comfortable prescribing the patient opiates again two years later! Praying a dependency does not develop again and if so will Independence Pain Associates pay the $2000+ detox program?! I have never written a review like this but I am just heartbroken by the improper monitoring of medication. read more
