Wow this place rocks. It knocked Annapoorna to 2nd place. The tandoori chicken was tender not dry and had a nice smoky taste. The paneer tikki masala had such rich flavor I went for seconds. Must try the vega Manchuria which is an Asian influence dish. Suji ka halwa (cream of wheat w/brown sugar) dessert a first for me and Delish. Ordered from doordash on a Sunday night. Chicken Tikka Masala - good not great. Not much chicken just mostly sauce - which isn't quite as good as others in the area. The chicken itself was good quality there just wasn't much of it! 4/5. Dal fry - more fried tasting than what I like in my yellow lentils and lacking in flavor. I had just one small serving and then now putting the rest in the fridge. Will be a struggle for me to go back and eat the leftovers 3/5. Raita - fairly thick as far as Raita goes. I liked this very well. 5/5 Plain Naan - dry, not as soft as you want in your naan and a bit too burnt - but I smothered it in the masala sauce and that was acceptable substitute for any flavor in the bread itself. I wish I had just toasted the Trader Joe's naan I had in the freezer! 3/5 Delivery came on time - food was in the metal containers with the plastic lids and then also inside styrofoam containers for extra security. I wanted to branch out and try new places i should've just stuck with my tried and true Sunday Indian dinner! In all this wasn't terrible. I have been to India Kitchen several times as it was one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in Orange County. The buffet is better than many nearby restaurants, but I have to mention their Egg biryani specifically. They nailed it, exactly the way I like the biryani. Postmates and Uber Eats deliver from India kitchen so Egg Biryani was my staple here - and the taste was consistent over years that I have had the biryani here. The acoustics of the room was a bit strange - in the seat I was in, I could more clearly hear the conversation of the group in the opposite corner of the room than I could hear what my wife was saying. My husband and I ordered two dosas from the menu. After a long 45-50 minutes wait we received one dosa with stale chutney and spicy lentils soup instead of sambhar and they asked us to wait on second dosa. Second dosa arrived 15 minutes later with spicy lentils soup and no chutney. We were advised that we were given chutney with first dosa for both of us. We have never ever shared chutney for two dosas from single bowl anywhere, not even in fast food joints. The lunch buffet is excellent. The line can get quite long but it moves fast. There's a large selection of various rice, curry, desserts, etc. I also love their unlimited naan- seriously one of my favorite things about this place. This place is hands down the best Indian Lunch buffet and dinner service in Orange County. There was just no way that something could be this good, at this price, and maintain it. Oh, how glad I am that I was wrong. You get your standard variety of options for lunch, but each one is expertly crafted. Nothing is ever too salty, oily, or overcooked. They also offer a variety of items on their menu that are all sublime. Their dinner is where they really shine because they make each dish fresh for you. If you're feeling adventurous I highly recommend some different breads instead of Naan: Fulka, Onion Kulcha, or Idly. Also, don't hesitate to speak with them about some of the different things on their menu, because they will gladly explain the process that goes into them. Lastly, if they ever ask you if you want to try their Chai Tea... DO IT! We had the opportunity to try it when they made it for the kitchen staff.. and it changed my life. Unfortunately, it isn't the same when they make it just for you.. but if you ever catch the chance to try the "real one".. you will never be the same. The ownership and staff are all Indian and very helpful and for the price i can't fault it. Came here on New Year's Eve, and they were open wth regular hours! My table ordered vindaloo and korma. The lamb korma was creamy with the right amount of spices. The vindaloo hits you with a burst of flavors and spices that's soooo good. If you order a chicken dish, the chicken is extremely juicy and tender. We also got the mango lassi. This is a must try honestly. It's sweet and resembles a mango milkshake, but they use yogurt instead of milk. It's awesome. The service is fantastic!! They're very attentive to your table. They refilled our waters constantly without us having to flag them down. It's also nice that they didn't bombard us with too many "how is everything doing," and allowed us to enjoy our meals!
