It's been a few years since we visited this restaurant, so we decided to come back and try it again. The same owner since 2008 is what we were told. The food is authentic and better than my memory serves. The Tandoori chicken was very tasty as was the nan. There are enough choices on the dinner buffet to get a variety of flavors circulating throughout your mouth. The Mango Lassi is a great way to complement a late night meal. Top off the night with the mango pudding and you should be prime for bedtime. The buffet price is fair for what is offered which is appreciated. The restaurant dinning area is large enough for big groups or events even though it was empty late Friday night. We have made our rounds throughout SA chasing that meal that would reminds us of the time we toured India, but just haven't found it yet.

The environment is peaceful with soft music playing, and the waitress was very sweet and calm. Absolutely delicious. The goat curry was beautifully made and just falls apart in perfection. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I suggest you come give this place a try. I will be coming back

Everything we had was so good No complaints here! Fresh hot naan is served after you're seated. Dessert was so yummy I could eat them all! If you like sour tangy with spice, try their mixed pickled salad. I loved it. it was like Chinese candy and chamoy. I ate it with a side of cucumber and their riata it's yogurt cucumber carrot and mint.

Great go to Indian buffet. It's perfect to get a try of everything if you don't know what you like yet. My favorites include the nann, samosas and chicken tikka masala. But I found out I like the cabbage, chicken curry and mango custard.

    Gulab jamun, kheer, mango custard

Service and ambiance great! Clean restaurant. Was craving Indian food and grateful this was open on Memorial Day Monday. Food/Buffet: I tried chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, saag curry, korma, vegetable samosa, tandoori chicken, goat curry (not pictured), garlic naan (not pictured), and desserts including mango custard and gulab jamun and kheer. All savory items except goat curry and mint chutney tasted undersalted with very minimal masala, which is surprising for an Indian buffet restaurant. The goat curry was the best!! Desserts didn't blow me away but I did try a bite of the three mentioned above and liked mango custard the most. Price: $15.99 plus tax and tip Not sure I'd come back for the buffet but perhaps for a la carte goat curry I might return!

I really enjoyed the selection of dishes but I did think they needed a few more meat entrees. All the things I tried were delicious. I definitely recommend the rice pudding for dessert. Also, try the candy coated fennel seeds and mango lassi for digestion. The seeds are by the register. The service was good, the server did come by a few times to check our drinks and bring naan. They also serve wine. The Bollywood style music videos playing on the tvs are also really cool. I would definitely return.

My husband had the buffet. It has so many choices! Instead of having naan getting hard in a pan like I've always seen at buffets they brought him fresh naan to the table. I personally can't eat enough to make a buffet worth the money. For the same price approximately I got my favorite dish Lamb Korma (then I get to take my leftovers home). As I'm ordering the lady Tanya that took care of us asked mild, medium, or hot...I've been stuck for 12 years getting mild so I could share it with my kiddos... But I could order it Indian hot this time... Then I realized that my kiddos would want to eat my Korma even though they both said they didn't want any ‍ as I was talking through my dilemma, Tanya says I can bring you hot sauce on the side... Me thinking it's like having Tabasco or Chalula to the table... She said she would bring the chilli paste they make in house, that they added to make the dishes spicier. No one ever offered me this before. She brings out my Lamb Korma, rice, and the garlic naan & the paneer naan I ordered. Everything was delicious and the chili paste did exactly what she said in would! The chilli paste was yummy all by itself. And the lamb was perfectly prepared, not gamey not huge chunks, generous amount. We couldn't have had a nicer lunch. We will be back soon!

Location: The restaurant is located in Stone Oak off Heubner road in a shopping center with an Indian Market, Jersey Mikes and Pizza Hut. There are a lot of parking in this shopping center. Food: They offer a lunch and dinner buffet and you can order a la carte of lunch/dinner entrees. We tried the lunch buffet and were delighted of the variety of options from vegan dishes, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, chili chicken, meatball curry, pakoras, mushroom masala, curry pakoras, samosas, goat curry, salads, chutney, desserts (gulab jamun, khir, semolina cake and mango custard), two types of rice/biryani; basmati and vegetable. My favorite entrees are the chicken tikka masala. A basket of garlic naan bread was complimentary and given when our drinks came in. Price: Lunch buffet price is $14.99 per adult. There is a kid's menu and it's priced $9.99 and under. Ambiance: There is ample seating in the large restaurant. It is tastefully decorated to reflect their culture. The buffet line is at the back of the restaurant. Service: Service was great. Foods were constantly refilled in the buffet line and waters were promptly refilled. Overall, I would be back again. I'm curious to see if the food options are more extensive for dinner. I would love to see plain naan bread at the buffet line.

We've returned 4 times since last year and it's consistently good. Get the mango lassi.

It's a little expensive, even for a weekend. You would expect more and better choices for the prices we paid. About $80 for two adults and a midget. They had your typical fare. The least favs-ribs(tough/dry and no flavor), steak(tough and under seasoned), steam buns(the filling just no), bourbon chicken(dry chicken and not enough sauce), and the consensus least fav were all the desserts. There was flying bugs, and everything was super dry and tasted old. I get it, what do expect for a Chinese buffet in San Antonio? Well I expect no flying insects in the desserts for the price I paid. Also, 75 % of the fruit we got was as tough as the steak. Oh, and the cold shrimp, either overcooked or thawed the wrong way. The shell was practically glued on. The positives-all the rice and noodle dishes were good to ok. The hot and sour soup was really good! The teriyaki chicken was actually good. The bigger sauced rib was good. The kimchi was some of the better we've had recently. The spring rolls with peanut were good. The two fish dishes we had(fried and not fried) were actually quite nice. All the breads were good. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Almost forgot, the bathrooms were kinda gross. They need to be kept clean. Will not come back again.

The buffet options are good, but their general tso's chicken is not the best (and I judge how good overall Chinese buffets on this lol). A surprise hit is the sautéed green beans, which are perfectly cooked and garlicky--just like how you'd find it traditionally cooked in Chinese cuisine. I also think they're deep fried (salt and pepper?) shrimp (next to the crawfish) is very delicious. Plates are cleared pretty quickly and the buffet space is kept orderly and decently clean.

His only complaint before we even sat down was that it wasn't all you can drink. Fair concern. Thirty dollars for the dinner menu. Fair play. That is about standard across the city. The real question is whether you can actually make it worth it. I started strong. Ten salmon nigiri. Ten tuna. Four shrimp. A couple white tuna. A couple yellowtail. Across the table, Jimmy didn't say much. Just kept eating. That's usually how you know things are going well. At some point it stops feeling like dinner and starts feeling like a bit of a challenge. Balance, freshness, attention to detail. This one delivered. Clean, refreshing, exactly what you want. Added some chicken skewers for good measure. Bit of char, bit of heat, keeps things grounded.
