Great go to Indian buffet. It's perfect to get a try of everything if you don't know what you like yet. My favorites include the nann, samosas and chicken tikka masala. But I found out I like the cabbage, chicken curry and mango custard.

Service and ambiance great! Clean restaurant. Was craving Indian food and grateful this was open on Memorial Day Monday. Food/Buffet: I tried chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, saag curry, korma, vegetable samosa, tandoori chicken, goat curry (not pictured), garlic naan (not pictured), and desserts including mango custard and gulab jamun and kheer. All savory items except goat curry and mint chutney tasted undersalted with very minimal masala, which is surprising for an Indian buffet restaurant. The goat curry was the best!! Desserts didn't blow me away but I did try a bite of the three mentioned above and liked mango custard the most. Price: $15.99 plus tax and tip Not sure I'd come back for the buffet but perhaps for a la carte goat curry I might return!

I really enjoyed the selection of dishes but I did think they needed a few more meat entrees. All the things I tried were delicious. I definitely recommend the rice pudding for dessert. Also, try the candy coated fennel seeds and mango lassi for digestion. The seeds are by the register. The service was good, the server did come by a few times to check our drinks and bring naan. They also serve wine. The Bollywood style music videos playing on the tvs are also really cool. I would definitely return.

My husband had the buffet. It has so many choices! Instead of having naan getting hard in a pan like I've always seen at buffets they brought him fresh naan to the table. I personally can't eat enough to make a buffet worth the money. For the same price approximately I got my favorite dish Lamb Korma (then I get to take my leftovers home). As I'm ordering the lady Tanya that took care of us asked mild, medium, or hot...I've been stuck for 12 years getting mild so I could share it with my kiddos... But I could order it Indian hot this time... Then I realized that my kiddos would want to eat my Korma even though they both said they didn't want any ‍ as I was talking through my dilemma, Tanya says I can bring you hot sauce on the side... Me thinking it's like having Tabasco or Chalula to the table... She said she would bring the chilli paste they make in house, that they added to make the dishes spicier. No one ever offered me this before. She brings out my Lamb Korma, rice, and the garlic naan & the paneer naan I ordered. Everything was delicious and the chili paste did exactly what she said in would! The chilli paste was yummy all by itself. And the lamb was perfectly prepared, not gamey not huge chunks, generous amount. We couldn't have had a nicer lunch. We will be back soon!

Location: The restaurant is located in Stone Oak off Heubner road in a shopping center with an Indian Market, Jersey Mikes and Pizza Hut. There are a lot of parking in this shopping center. Food: They offer a lunch and dinner buffet and you can order a la carte of lunch/dinner entrees. We tried the lunch buffet and were delighted of the variety of options from vegan dishes, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, chili chicken, meatball curry, pakoras, mushroom masala, curry pakoras, samosas, goat curry, salads, chutney, desserts (gulab jamun, khir, semolina cake and mango custard), two types of rice/biryani; basmati and vegetable. My favorite entrees are the chicken tikka masala. A basket of garlic naan bread was complimentary and given when our drinks came in. Price: Lunch buffet price is $14.99 per adult. There is a kid's menu and it's priced $9.99 and under. Ambiance: There is ample seating in the large restaurant. It is tastefully decorated to reflect their culture. The buffet line is at the back of the restaurant. Service: Service was great. Foods were constantly refilled in the buffet line and waters were promptly refilled. Overall, I would be back again. I'm curious to see if the food options are more extensive for dinner. I would love to see plain naan bread at the buffet line.

Visited on a Sunday evening for the dinner buffet. There were a variety of options. Howeverr, some of trhe dishes were a bit cold. The service was great- staff was attentive. The place itself was quiet and calm.

Really nice service. I enjoyed the freshly made chai! My husband said this is his favorite Indian restaurant we've been to in SA. I loved the buttery garlic naan and the fresh ginger in the curries. The rice was lightly flavored and fragrant. I just wanted more. I looooove rice. It's included with the curries, which I appreciate! We came for the buffet. The hours for the dinner buffet are Friday-Sunday 3pm-9pm--decided we have to come again! My neighbors highly recommended it.

We DoorDash her order. Solid Indian food. Everything was well seasoned and very fair portions. As a Pakistani family, we know good naan and this was good naan. Samosas had a nice kick and Saag was really comforting. Mango lassi hit the spot. Chicken Tikka was on point as well.

At first it feels small, but past the bar there's a comfortable-sized dining room. Every TV was tuned to the World Cup, which gave the restaurant a fun, energetic atmosphere during my visit. Service was prompt and friendly. My waiter recommended the pork for the momo dumplings and also suggested pairing the meal with one of their Himalayan beers. After reading several Yelp reviews, I ordered the sizzling pork momo, naan, and chicken vindaloo. I also took the beer recommendation, which ended up being a good decision considering I ordered the vindaloo at a 4 out of 5 spice level. The sizzling momo was the standout of the meal. The dumplings were excellent, and the accompanying sauce was flavorful enough that I found myself dipping almost everything into it. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken vindaloo had a nice level of heat without overwhelming the other flavors. The chicken itself was tender and cooked well. Portions were generous, and I ended up with more food than I could comfortably finish by myself. Overall, this was a great first visit. Next time I'll bring my wife so we can share a few different dishes and explore more of the menu.

Overall, we were pleased with the taste, although I should have gone up one spice level to perhaps get that combination of burn and flavor that I crave. Best food ever. Here in SATX, for years, I've (begrudgingly) frequented Madurai Mes a few blocks away. You enter the lobby, and it feels like the staff is having a competition over who can ignore you. It's cramped and dingy, and there are AC hoses snaked throughout the place, and I've never been able to eat there for under $30, but they make a pretty good thali. And so in my brain, the best indian food comes from Resturants you don't much want to eat at. Nawabi was huge and well lit and dare I say clean? It felt slightly dated, and culturally a bit off - like maybe it belonged to an Ethiopian restaurant before - but classy. So the food was going to suck. The menu is expansive and seemingly interesting. It was missing my thali. It did have a number of dishes that offered a few things to try. I haven't, as an adult, longed for food served from a bucket - but Biriyani seems like a solid choice with which to fill one. My kid doesn't care for dosas, but does he like chocolate dosa? I don't know, but were fixin' to find out. Some of the weekend-only options had me salivating. I ordered the Plain dosa with mutton curry. This is a novel combination to me, and maybe also to my waiter, who had me point it out on the menu. It was good, the dosa was thin and crispy with the right amount of edges, the sambar was just ok, the chutneys were good, mutton curry was excellent. I skipped dessert, and opted for chai masala. But I should have really gone with some of their kulfi which looked super tempting in its display case. In short, everything was pretty awesome. I have my next visits penciled in to try the lunch buffet, peruse the weekend menu, and track down the AYCE pani puris. The only problem was that this time - on a Monday night - I was the only customer there, which was weird. But the staff was super welcoming, no Deliverance vibes, so I went with it. The wait for the delivery was only about an hour. That was fine with me, as I had plenty of things I needed to get done before I sat down to dine. When I lifted the bundle that was left at my door, I was shocked by the weight! I don't feel like I ordered all that much, but they sure sent a lot of food. I ordered lamb vindaloo, garlic, naan, rice, and samosas. All of it was truly delicious. The large pieces of lamb meat in the vindaloo were tender and soaked with the delicious flavor of the spicy sauce. There were not as many potato chunks as meat chunks, which I consider a good thing in vindaloo. The garlic naan was some of the best I have ever had. I ordered two of them, but really didn't need the second one. They were huge. By themselves, they tasted delicious, but when you dipped it into the vindaloo sauce, it was absolutely amazing. The very first Indian food I ever had was at a dinner party in 1973 when my family was living in Taiwan. The most memorable item for me was the samosas. The ones from this restaurant we're almost exactly like I remembered. I have to also comment on how well everything was packaged. All of the containers were shrink wrapped for extra precaution. I don't think anything could've leaked even if the driver put it upside down. I am anxious to go and try eating at the actual restaurant. Somehow it was off my radar. The choices were limited in number, but enough for us. Buffet included some traditional entrees like Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Masala and several different kinds of Curry dishes. The rice and nan complimented the dish. Wifey enjoyed her meal and felt like the spice level was good enough, but I wanted something a bit more spicy. If my taste buds don't burn a little, then I feel like it is too Americanized. I understand that a buffet is prepared for the average person, but since San Antonio is already known for spicy foods, then a dish or two of a higher heat level would suffice for me. The restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center and it not real visible from the street so luckily Yelp got us here. It is however, close to Loop 1604, so it is an easy drive after exiting. Waitstaff is friendly and on point so it made the small, but comfortable indoor dining a pleasant experience.
