My favorite Indian restaurant. The food is very abundant and delicious. Although I am not a vegetarian, some of my favorite dishes are their vegetable dishes. I don't know if they have a magic wand they put around their vegetables, but their vegetables are the best I've ever had. It may be a little hard to find because even though it's in a strip shopping center off of Hurbnar you really have to look to find it. The old saying says if you have Chinese food you're hungry about an hour later. This is not true about their food. I go home after stuffed and usually take a nap after. And the stereotype I'm trying to share with my friends is that it's not all curry. There's a variety of dishes with all kinds of spices from very mild to spicy. It's been a few years since we visited this restaurant, so we decided to come back and try it again. The same owner since 2008 is what we were told. The food is authentic and better than my memory serves. The Tandoori chicken was very tasty as was the nan. There are enough choices on the dinner buffet to get a variety of flavors circulating throughout your mouth. The Mango Lassi is a great way to complement a late night meal. Top off the night with the mango pudding and you should be prime for bedtime. The buffet price is fair for what is offered which is appreciated. The restaurant dinning area is large enough for big groups or events even though it was empty late Friday night. We have made our rounds throughout SA chasing that meal that would reminds us of the time we toured India, but just haven't found it yet. read more

I was bad, I didn't take pictures, but oh my goodness, this was heaven in my taste buds. Having no options for Indian cuisine where I currently live, I have naturally been craving it. I was very excited for online ordering and delivery services. The driver was courteous and called two minutes before arrival, and the delivery was faster than the estimated wait time. We ordered the fish biryani, lamb biryani, and keema naan. The portions are ginormous and very much worth the price. I would order here again and again if this was closer to home. read more

I really enjoyed the selection of dishes but I did think they needed a few more meat entrees. All the things I tried were delicious. I definitely recommend the rice pudding for dessert. Also, try the candy coated fennel seeds and mango lassi for digestion. The seeds are by the register. The service was good, the server did come by a few times to check our drinks and bring naan. We tried the lunch buffet and were delighted of the variety of options from vegan dishes, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, chili chicken, meatball curry, pakoras, mushroom masala, curry pakoras, samosas, goat curry, salads, chutney, desserts (gulab jamun, khir, semolina cake and mango custard), two types of rice/biryani; basmati and vegetable. My favorite entrees are the chicken tikka masala. A basket of garlic naan bread was complimentary and given when our drinks came in. Price: Lunch buffet price is $14.99 per adult. There is a kid's menu and it's priced $9.99 and under. Ambiance: There is ample seating in the large restaurant. It is tastefully decorated to reflect their culture. My husband had the buffet. It has so many choices! Instead of having naan getting hard in a pan like I've always seen at buffets they brought him fresh naan to the table. I personally can't eat enough to make a buffet worth the money. For the same price approximately I got my favorite dish Lamb Korma (then I get to take my leftovers home). As I'm ordering the lady Tanya that took care of us asked mild, medium, or hot...I've been stuck for 12 years getting mild so I could share it with my kiddos... But I could order it Indian hot this time... Then I realized that my kiddos would want to eat my Korma even though they both said they didn't want any ‍ as I was talking through my dilemma, Tanya says I can bring you hot sauce on the side... Me thinking it's like having Tabasco or Chalula to the table... She said she would bring the chilli paste they make in house, that they added to make the dishes spicier. No one ever offered me this before. She brings out my Lamb Korma, rice, and the garlic naan & the paneer naan I ordered. Everything was delicious and the chili paste did exactly what she said in would! The chilli paste was yummy all by itself. And the lamb was perfectly prepared, not gamey not huge chunks, generous amount. We couldn't have had a nicer lunch. We will be back soon! read more

I went to this favorite eatery of my friends for the lunch buffet. The place is spacious and the buffet has a number of offerings. Most of the dishes are very traditional Indian food that you Indian mom would make. Lots of curry and vegan fare, chicken, lentils and sauces on most items. The garlic infused Naan bread is amazing. The offerings are all nicely prepared and the chef is refilling regularly so food is fresh. There are 2 types of rice, soups, fruit and salads as well as some traditional desserts.
