I take my wife and kids here almost every week. Let me tell you, when they say "quality careers", they mean it. These guys consistently serve up some of the highest quality careers in the area. No matter what I order, I'm always astounded. (Make sure to get there on Thursdays for the 'Career Readiness' special) Don't get me wrong though, there are some downsides here. For instance, I've never been to any other restaurant where you have to "enroll" before being allowed to eat there. And the hours are ridiculous!! (only open from 1:10 - 1:30pm?!? seriously... you gotta be kidding me!!!) Staff is usually friendly, but I wish the service were a bit better. One time, I waited at a table for a full 6 hours before I was asked to leave the building. Not used to a restaurant having security officers.

The experienced instructors taught me life lessons as well as the content to accelerate my education. The office staff is more than caring and treats everyone as a priority. The hands on complete automotive lab allowed me to use the right tools to accelerate my time and accuracy. The career services department at otc not only helps you find the perfect fit job upon completion but also finds jobs during school. I was very pleased with every day spent there and very much recommend this school to anyone that wants to change their life like it has mine.

$24,189.86 MISTAKE I took the HVAC/R course. I finish my…read morefinal class in two more days and I do not feel prepared for this field after spending 15 long month at this school. Which is partially my fault BUT.. this is my review on the school. In my 15 months at this school I saw 3 or 4 different instructors come and ago which in my opinion is a great indication of the poor leadership of this school. Underpaid and mistreated instructors cause distractions to not only the class that loses the instructor but also the other classes that have 20+ student thrown into their classrooms while their instructor is forced to teach two courses at once. The instructors are there from 7 A.M. until 10:30 P.M. which means by the time the night class starts they are exhausted and probably do not give the same effort they would during the day class. The classes seem to be over full making it difficult for the instructor to give any individual guidance in the very few lab hours we actually have. Now on to my biggest complaint of all. This school is 100% in this to make money. They do not care about you or any other student, (some instructors and office staff probably do but not the schools owners) They just simply want your money. Things that are mandatory in the HVAC, EX: changing filter driers any time you open a HVAC System (approx $10 part), are skipped because "they wont give us the funds this quarter to buy filter driers." Taking short cuts in the classroom is training students to take short cuts in the field. My final complaint and the main reason I am giving you this warning is when I originally decided to go to W.T.I. in Tulsa, I signed an enrollment agreement and worked out a payment plan to pay $23,777.62 and I paid all my payments as scheduled and even paid my last 3 month of payment early just to be finished paying. Less than two weeks left of school and they send me a bill saying I still owed them money and If I did not pay the additional money that they would not allow me to have my graduation certificate. After looking over everything with the financial add lady in the office she informed the that I some how had to pay $24,189.86 even though I have signed paper work agreeing to the original amount that I do have to pay that extra $327.81 in order to finish my course but nobody can tell me what the extra charges are even for.

My first semester we had a teacher, who's very first class, as an instructor, was ours. We were suppose to spend 3-4 days a week in class every week, then we had to split up "THE 60 STUDENTS" that we had, in class into two groups, due to covid restrictions. Now 30 of us are doing 2 days in class and the rest at home, vise versa with the other 30 students. 1 day in class is book and homework, the other is not even 1 day in lab, which is what we are paying $22,000 for.....KNOWLEDGE. The first instructor rushed through the entire semester, I struggled most of the way even after asking questions and talking with other students, so that was that. The start of the second semester me and my family got covid which kept me at home from school for a month. During that time, our instructor was fired then they hired another one. Was told zoom videos would be made to help us do virtual labs, that didn't happen. Still not getting the lab time that we should. Always get promised lab time and either, we get into lab and everyone messes around, or something happens and we don't have class. IM PAYING FOR SCHOOL LOANS THAT ARE A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY!!!! Again, Covid changed alot but the time we have in class i just feel, is a waste of my time, driving and gas. If anybody asked if I would recommend this school, I would tell them to go find a better school, because even if I graduate, I have not had enough lab time for things that we have already past, nor and stuff that we are learning now. The Director truly does not care, he, along with the front office are only concentrating on one thing, thats sugar coating everything, building the school up, making it look like its the only education you will ever need to get you your high paying, career, dream job......oh and the MONEY. I will never have anything good to say about this place. DO NOT GO TO THIS TRADE SCHOOL. FIND ANOTHER ONE.
