I used this company to remove a large tree with the agreement that he will remove the…read moretop branches for 1800.00 (which I paid him in cash), and he would come back to remove the bottom part of the tree for $500.00 with stump grinding a month later ( bc we needed to save up for the additional cost). When I called him the month later to come back he's said his stump grinding machine broke, I tried him again now a month later and he's now saying he never said that and they don't do stump grinding. Now I'm stuck with a remaining large bottom tree that he won't come back to finish the job. I don't recommend this company at ALL! He's a liar and only trying to make a dollar from hard working people. It's sad we live in a world where people just take advantage of customers who do a verbal agreement. My fault for trusting him but I want to share to warn innocent people to avoid them going through this issue. Please stay away there are other more reliable tree companies out there who will be honest and do the full work! Not knowing much about tree trimming as a new homeowner, I made sure to get multiple quotes. I learned that a lot of these tree businesses say they're certified and they're really not. Having a TRULY CERTIFIED Arborist, allowed me to not stress as limbs came down over my roof. Not to mention I didn't have to worry about permitting, being that they are truly certified. (Other companies will tell you it's the customer's job to acquire permits). As it can be hard to find trustworthy companies in the area, I've already recommended them to all my neighbors! Thank you!

They claim to have insurance but have not filed a claim. They have been avoiding us. So at some point now we will have to take legal action to collect for damages. We are retired, and rely on the fruit trees we have on our property. We sell the fruit (organic avg. $2.50 ea.) This helps pay taxes and other expenses. If I was looking for a tree service, I would read my complaint a couple times before you hire anyone. Take this all in for consideration.
